I'm now ready for some more betatesting / first beta release. I would love for everyone using it to post in the thread with comments, feedback, bug reports and/or feature requests. Please do note that I'm doing this alone, so it might take some time to implement/fix a feature request/bug.
Current version: v0.3.0
Changes and downloads for v0.3.0 can be found HERE. (includes lots of improvements, and a few bugfixes/new features).
Features (v0.1.0): 1v1 & 2v2 supported Names of players Coloring of player names or Squares next to name (thanks for the idea Jarvs) Race images as workers or race icons Player location markers Scoreboard Auto complete of player names (remebers all input) Editing the player list moving/locking or resetting position (default is center of main monitor, in the top (1 pixel down, so you can still scroll up in SC2) Hotkeys for almost everything (see further down) Saving of preferences (race images, 1v1/2v2 mode, color name/square, player names, hotkey mode)
Hotkeys: Player names: F1-F2 (F1-F4 for 2v2 mode) Score: F5-F6 Player colors: 1-8 (uses modifiers) Player race: P,T,Z (uses modifiers) Player location mode1: numpad2,4,6,8 (north, south, east, west) (uses modifiers) Player location mode2: numpad1-9, /(10) *(11) -(12) (watch keyboard, makes sense ) (uses modifiers) *NOTE1 Moving: ctrl+M (enable/disable)
Known Issues: Location hotkeys for player 3 & 4 doesnt work Small graphical glitches around edges of form
Troubleshooting: If you use xsplit and the application is invisble, open the xsplit window and go to tools->settings, in the general tab and unckeck "Disable capture of layered windows" - that will make it show.
The guys at gosugamers felt like I had stolen their idea, but I want to point out that this is not the case. I saw a need for the community, and I stepped up and did something about it. I've been in touch with the gosugamer crew, and they did indeed release their casting tool because of this thread, which is fine with me - it simply gives the community more options. (the gosugamers castingtool can be found here). The gosugamers guys I talked to seemed like very nice people, and I've told them to contact me if they have any questions or anything else.
Good luck!
Edit 1: typo & troubleshooting Edit 2: added link to issus/feature requests
Im making an overlay for streamers, to show whos playing and what the score is. Its pretty simple, got hotkeys for everything so its not too time consuming, and pretty lightweight.
I'm gonna release this to all of you lovely guys once I've worked out the last few nagging things, but I thought I'd show it here and maybe get some feedback
As you can see on the screenshot, everything has hotkeys, which seems pretty intuitive once you tried it a few times.
The reason behind making it is that some people have one, but wont share it - and that just seems wrong to me, so I made one for everyone to use (if they feel like it).
So, any comments/ideas - please shoot!
..And I know its my first post, but I've been a lurker since the early beta stage - and its about time to contribute
another great freeware for the sc community. I know that some streamers already have this sort of utility for their streams, but not sure if they've been sharing where they got it from... great work =]
Thanks alot for all the positive feedback, its awesome! The idea down the line is that it will be a StreamerUtil pack, which includes the following apps (and more, if you have ideas): StreamerMatch - this app (can someone suggest a better name? StreamerKOTH - King of the hill overlay, keep track of peoples wins, losses etc. StreamerOverlay - replay overlay, overlay for whatever pics StreamerTicker - scrolling text or links to brackets, message of the day, whatever you want ) StreamerSkype - manage skype calls/conferences, see whos in a conference etc (this is almost done, but its a bit complicated hooking in to skype and catch everything thats going on there)
In the end I guess it will all be merged in to a big ball of love for the community
I think the idea is brilliant and can only thank you for being generous enough to provide it to the community.
Once you get everything set and release it pls make sure to link it here and i'll gladly make some mentions to the tool and his creator on future shoutcasts i might do.
Once again, thank you and best of look for the future.
This is sick. Is there going to be much control in terms of the graphics the streamers to change?
It looks great already, but I know I for one would love to be able to switch around the icons/background/fonts and such myself. Also, I notice the corners of the 'background' image are black. Is this a transparency issue? Or just that it had a black bg to begin with.
So, yeah. Being able to customise all the visual aspects of it would be incredibly appealing to me. Looks awesome so far.
i wanted to say that i love you, but sheekthief beat me to it. anyways, if you need more betatesters, we at ragequit.tv would happily help you, since we've been looking for that kind of program for quite some time.
Great contribution Very nice work, looks clean and the hotkeys are intuitive
One thing you could add is another bar that can cover the replay bar, that can take several jpg's as input and kinda shuffle through banners / sponsor info, so people don't have to put them everywhere.
I would probably just try to make this the one tool every streamer needs, and the only. webcam feed overlays etc that can be turned on as you wish.
This is really nice and the fact that it's open source is fantastic. Mind if I give some feedback and suggestions?
1. Could it possibly be a little smaller? Maybe just shave off 5px off the height or so. I'm aware that theres some tension between making it easily visible while not taking up much real estate as looking good on low quality streams. Just some food for thought.
2. I'm personally not so much a fan of the players' names being their colour. I'd rather something like a coloured box next to their name while their alias is white.
3. Spawn locations (such as T6 or Z12) next to the players' names.
This is just some suggestions! Not trying to sound like a hater

There will - eventually. First thing is naturally to get the last bugs etc. worked out, and get the last functionality in place. I'm thinking I'll make it possible to change both background and fonts, which would allow you to customize it however you want.
About the black corners.. Thats really annoying me as well, and accually they were transparent in the original application, however when the application had transparency enabled, the screencapture programs simply couldnt see the app at all (which kinda defeats the purpose ). Once I get an answer from the makers of some of the screencap apps, I might be able to fix it, but im pretty sure they need to make a codechange.

What about the possibility to add a text under the score, so I can write my www. address or something. The Event.
Or maybe the possibility to add another image overlay over the "replay bar"... so I woun't have to open another overlay.

As mentioned in this post, I plan to make both a replay overlay, and a "ticker" kinda thing where you can put links/event/whatever you want - It's coming as soon as I have time (however I do work 50+ hours a week, so all my (limited) spare time goes into this)

Thanks for the feedback 1. Accually the size is easily changeable with some of the streaming apps - with ie. xsplit, you just put the app on your 2nd screen, and make a camera the size of the app. You can then insert the camera feed on your main (SC2) screen at whatever size you want. Application based resizing will come at a later time (along with other UI customizations).
2. Thats a nice idea, I'll certainly implement that as an option soon
3. As mentioned above, I plan to implement the spawn locations soon
Yea, I guess everything is covered above (albiet a bit messy).
Appreciate you giving this out to the community. Definitely makes all streams more professional. I'll give some feedback after I get a chance to use it.
i just want to mention: gosugamers just released their tool for everyone to download. not sure if this has something to do with this thread or if it was a general decision. either way, just mentioning.
Well, I don't really know what to think about the release timing of GGs caster tool - if they just released because it was time, and not related to my project, thats nice.
If they released it because they'd rather have everyone use their tool to get the publicity or whatever, thats fine with me as well. No matter how you put it, we now have a free tool for the community.
I've contacted GG to try and figure out whether I should continue my project or just scrap it, or even make something together.

There, now you became more relevant than gosu gamers.
I love this community, keep it up man, you are one of those people that make me happy to live in this world.

Brilliant!!
It will revolutionise the streaming community and I can't see any sensible person not using this if all goes well
looks really good man and i totally agree with pretty much all comments and compliments so far...
but i'm curious...is this "just" gonna be an overlay for sc2 or are you planning it for several games?
because i just tried the GG overlay out and it sure is pretty good for sc2 and may also be used for other games but it's really pretty much the basics and adapted to be used for sc2 singleplayer only (like the icons, the colours, no actual teamgame support, ...)
and i would really like to see one which might be used for other gamemodes and also other games aswell...
Looking at the gosu gamers screen shots, your looks like it has more features and yours definitely looks nicer. If it is worth your time to continue it I know for sure that I will use your tool over that GG one for my stream
EDIT : First report : 1) Doesn't work with Fraps :'( Fraps only captures the Direct X Layer of the prog I think... 2) The hotkeys for the races don't work for me :/ 3) You didn't put random (+race) :p 4) Looks awesome

Aww 1) Can't fraps do desktop capture? It wont work if you only capture the Starcraft II window. 2) Thats odd.. Do you have a special keyboard/OS setup by chance? 3) I added a feature request on it 4) Thanks!

1) No, it can't :/ It does render based capture >.< I think with catches you can render in a Direct X window, I thought you did that ! 2) Aaaaah... Yeah, I use ctrl+arrows to control my music, through Autohotkey ^^ Do you think it's the problem? I stopped it and hotkeys still don't work... I also use a bépo (French Dvorak) keyboard.
Great! thanks for releasing it! Is it ok to post bug reports here or is there some other place you prefer?
For some reason the application is totally invisible when I add it's screen region to xsplit. I am using the latest xsplit version (beta 4 0.10.3.0)
And a feature I would love to see is 'export to file' which will just save the pretty overlay to a .jpg so we can embed it on file after using a screen capture program like fraps. (I'm gonna do this with printscreen for now)

Its fine here
With xsplit, you can go to tools->Settings, in the general tab and uncheck "Disable capture of layered windows", that will get it to show
Aw, thats a great idea, I'll make a feature request on that

Looks great, I always appreciate people doing things to help out the community. I suppose you can't blame people for trying to hold onto something they created but I really think things like this are part of what makes Team Liquid and similar communities so great.
I will be going to bed now after a long night of getting ready and initial support stuff, but please keep posting your comments, feature requests and bug reports, and I will answer them first thing in the morning.

Anyway if I cast live I will definitly use it ^^
Yes, AHK is the problem. Very often, hotkeys get reserved even after the AHK script closes down.
That is why I only use obscure combinations including the winkey such as Winkey+alt+Space for play/pause, winkey+Q for Screenshot-->Imageshack. One of my script messes up my ctrl+click, and I haven't found out which. But sometimes I can't assign controlgroups in SC2, which sucks! Ah well, even if Autohotkey is awesome, I'll return on-topic:
StreamerMatch seems AWESOME. How odd that I actually just today got some other tool named "Casters tool" from some Starcraft II site. Even more oddly, they are sooo similar in buildup, is it the same tool but different versions? Anyway, great job!
What do you use to program this? May I be of any help? (I do enjoy projects such as this occasionally, even if mine are not as useful to any community) All I've programmed is AHK, Python and some random stuff (html lol) but I got some other skills perhaps, and depending on the language I could probably understand it decently.
Some constructive hints, take them for what you want:
- A "Show/hide" possibility &/or hotkey - A "Set pane" or "Quick set" or whatever you may name it, for quickly setting up before a game - Perhaps a dialogue with tabbable input buttons, retaining previous input as preset. You just "Quick set", type in player names, tick race-buttons and color. - A "Settings" panel where all options are clearly visible, and you can customize your preferences for certain behaviour in the application, such as the choices for showing race, color, map position (which I don't want to show, but can't figure how to deselect it) - Player names should be associated with races, if you do save player names (which is awesome in itself) for extra awesomeness - If not too hard to code, it'd be cool to have a way to make player names & score "Flash", atleast by temporarily increasing text size gradually. That's just gravy on the sauce, or however the saying goes in english. You know, "And neeeeext up, we have.. *drumrolls*. ARN vs LALUSH!" or something. Dunno, just would be cool! - Clickable areas of the window would be the BEST way to input data. That is, if I doubleclick "Player 1", I get the input box for "Player 1". I like that you hotkey'd stuff, but sometimes hotkeys can conflict, and memorizing not-so-often-used functions is a tad boring. - Some colors are difficult to read if you choose "Text" - The "Verifying application requirements" thingey looks scary, it seems like the app could be uploading/downloading data (such as a trojan). - "Score" should be inputtable in a "2-1" format (both at the same time), and it'd set the score to (obviously) "2" for player 1 and "1" for player 2. Additionally, Race maybe should be inputtable in "ZvZ", "PvT" etc. format. - Change "Matchup" (1vs1 or 2vs2?) to something more appropiate, such as "Team size", but whatever. 2vs2 is probably a non-prio'd thing. - The "Drone" image is very ugly and dark. Not your fault of course! - Adding customizability for the images etc. would be solid - Add a hotkey to SHOW/HIDE the pane. - I see that multiple instances can be run simultaneously. This is pretty good for me, since I have two screens and can thus set up the "next slide" off-viewing-area. - Which brings me to this: Many casters have two screens. For us especially, it'd help with a movable window which we can interact with to change data. A "Set Match" for players/color, etc. The GUI should maybe have an "Ok", "Apply", "Cancel" button, so that those with two screens could simply "Apply" for simple updates. - Remove your skype name from the "About", for your own sake. If this gets popular, maybe I'll call you. - You need a better name for the program, in my humble opinion
Additionally, naming and of the functions could be a tad bit more intuitive.
REMEMBER, take this for hints (I am being generous to you now, ain't I?), not negative critisism in any way. I just want to contribute.
Btw, for me, this covers my "Message log" of the menubar. How the heck do I *GET RID OF* the menu, I don't wanna disable the hotkeys, I wanna hide the keys.
For some reason this wont show up on Livestream even if it is clearly my top window. I am using Procaster, if that changes anything. I looked for a layers option like in xsplit and didnt see one, but I could just be dumb.

You guys could make a thread in livestreams support forum - be sure to include a screenshot of it working (the actual screen with sc2+streamermatch) next to a screenshot of the stream where its invisible.
You can tell them that I tracked it down to being due to transparency on the windows form.
..And if all else fails, I do still make the _notrans releases as well, for that same reason
I'm currently at work, and wont be home for another ~9 hours, so I can't do anything before then.
you have to set procaster to stream your desktop, not the game if you want this to work, otherwise, with the game input, it just takes it's input directly from the game
Feature suggestion: Add a 4th "race icon" spot where the user chooses an image file from their computer. This will be very useful when casting Clanwars/Nationwars where you require a 2nd overlay for the overall score between the teams. (and some people could use it to put their own customizable zerg/terran/toss icons)

You can always download the notrans version, that should work fine (but have black corners).

Hi, Thanks alot for the great feedback. I will try to respond for each thing
StreamerMatch seems AWESOME. How odd that I actually just today got some other tool named "Casters tool" from some Starcraft II site. Even more oddly, they are sooo similar in buildup, is it the same tool but different versions? Anyway, great job!
Thats probably the gosugamer one, but no, its not the same tool at all When I announced my tool, gosugamers released theirs to public. They are written in the same language, and a tool like that has a limited number of features, so its natural for them to seem alike (although there are alot of differences in the implementations when you look closely).
What do you use to program this? May I be of any help? (I do enjoy projects such as this occasionally, even if mine are not as useful to any community) All I've programmed is AHK, Python and some random stuff (html lol) but I got some other skills perhaps, and depending on the language I could probably understand it decently.
It's written in vb.NET, so if you can write that, you're welcome to help
- A "Show/hide" possibility &/or hotkey - Add a hotkey to SHOW/HIDE the pane.
I will implement a global hotkey for show/hide (it it werent global, you couln't get it back once you hide it ) Additionally I will implement a global hotkey to give the window focus, so one can use the hotkeys only (right now you have to click it with your mouse (or alt+tab to it) to use the hotkeys).
- A "Set pane" or "Quick set" or whatever you may name it, for quickly setting up before a game - Perhaps a dialogue with tabbable input buttons, retaining previous input as preset. You just "Quick set", type in player names, tick race-buttons and color.
Good idea, I made a feature request
- A "Settings" panel where all options are clearly visible, and you can customize your preferences for certain behaviour in the application, such as the choices for showing race, color, map position (which I don't want to show, but can't figure how to deselect it)
I'm planning to implement a settings screen (where you can setup your style) - the current right click menu is getting a bit confusing/cluttered (its already a feature request)
- Player names should be associated with races, if you do save player names (which is awesome in itself) for extra awesomeness
Now THAT is a great idea! Added to feature requests (I'll definately do this one!)
- If not too hard to code, it'd be cool to have a way to make player names & score "Flash", atleast by temporarily increasing text size gradually. That's just gravy on the sauce, or however the saying goes in english. You know, "And neeeeext up, we have.. *drumrolls*. ARN vs LALUSH!" or something. Dunno, just would be cool!
Thats a good idea, I made a feature request (and I will definately implement this) - both for new players and for wins (score increase) - Im thinking the new player one will only be implemented for the "quick set" feature", and as a hotkey.
- Clickable areas of the window would be the BEST way to input data. That is, if I doubleclick "Player 1", I get the input box for "Player 1". I like that you hotkey'd stuff, but sometimes hotkeys can conflict, and memorizing not-so-often-used functions is a tad boring.
I will definately implement this (should be very easy). I made a feature request
- Some colors are difficult to read if you choose "Text"
I will look at this - I made a bug report
- The "Verifying application requirements" thingey looks scary, it seems like the app could be uploading/downloading data (such as a trojan).
This is simply to help the users - When you run it, it checks if you have .NET runtime, and if not, it installs it - also, if an update is available, it'll download that - so its not gonna go away, sorry
- "Score" should be inputtable in a "2-1" format (both at the same time), and it'd set the score to (obviously) "2" for player 1 and "1" for player 2. Additionally, Race maybe should be inputtable in "ZvZ", "PvT" etc. format.
Good idea, I made a feature request
- Change "Matchup" (1vs1 or 2vs2?) to something more appropiate, such as "Team size", but whatever. 2vs2 is probably a non-prio'd thing.
I'm gonna rework most of the UI (menu wise) - theres a task on that.
- The "Drone" image is very ugly and dark. Not your fault of course!
I will definately take a look at that - Made a feature request.
- Adding customizability for the images etc. would be solid
I have a feature request on that
- I see that multiple instances can be run simultaneously. This is pretty good for me, since I have two screens and can thus set up the "next slide" off-viewing-area.
Yep, thats the thought
- Remove your skype name from the "About", for your own sake. If this gets popular, maybe I'll call you.
Thats the whole idea - Its there to be used
- You need a better name for the program, in my humble opinion

In the end I guess it will all be merged in to a big ball of love for the community
Additionally, naming and of the functions could be a tad bit more intuitive.
If you're talking about the menus, its coming (see your quick match question) - If youre talking about the code, I'm gonna revise the whole thing once I've dealt with bugs/feature requests (theres a task on that).
REMEMBER, take this for hints (I am being generous to you now, ain't I?), not negative critisism in any way. I just want to contribute.
I'm very happy that you took the time to give some (very good) feedback!
Btw, for me, this covers my "Message log" of the menubar. How the heck do I *GET RID OF* the menu, I don't wanna disable the hotkeys, I wanna hide the keys.
I've tried to find that as well, its not possible at the moment
Just wanted to say that I used this tool yesterday for some VODs and everyone loved it! good feedback across the board A tiny feature suggestion: an option to remove the score and just put big pretty "VS" instead (or anything else besides X-Y) as sometimes games are Bo1 or are just a random match and it stays 0-0 for the entire stream.

Hi,
Thanks alot for the post, its good to know
That feature will come in v0.2.0, which will probably arrive tomorrow - it has a bunch of new features, be sure to check it out (if you used the clickonce installer, it will autoupdate).
Using the Layered windows option makes my mouse flicker which is not "acceptable". I wonder if there is a way to fix this or maby there is another solution besides "Layered windows".

Do you use xsplit? If so, you should make a support case on their site (if xsplit isnt open, your mouse doesnt flicker ).

Oh, and of course, theres always the option to use the "notrans" version, which doesnt require you to have the layered windows option on, but this version will have black corners, and will NOT autoupdate.
Bugs i found : -Quick setup always pops up on 1. monitor, would be cool if it saves the position where it was moved last time -> 2. monitor -Quick setup (only player 1), race icon for Terran and Zerg wont show, Protoss works fine. -Right click -> race -> player one -> no icon pops up, player two works fine

Thats all i found for now.
Hi,
Thanks for the kind words.
I will look in to the errors as soon as possible, but please note that the hotkeys *should* work (at least those were the ones I tested before release).
Maybe I'm crazy, but is anyone else having problems moving it with the new version? I've gone to options and verified that the box "Movable" is checked. Am I missing something silly?
Edit for a 3rd time: Thought I had fixed problem #1 and was onto a new one, turns out I was wrong. for any of the people above who posted the same, has anyone resolved the problem with livestream where you can see the overlay on your window, however it is not making it to the stream? attempted to find a resolution in the livestream forums but the internet fails me.

Hi,
This might be true, unfortunately. As a workaround until I get it fixed, the ctrl+M hotkey should still be working though

Hi,
The procaster capture sadly doesn't capture layered windows (which is basically windows with some form of transparency). You could make a post on livestream and request that they add that feature. In the meantime, fear not! - You can use the "notrans" version until they do fix it. You find it right below the "Clickonce installer" - this version is specially made for you guys with capture programs that cant handle layered windows (notrans is short for "No transparency").
Love the overlay, using the notrans version so it works with livestream procaster, and have started uploading vods using it (youtube.com/benjisc2).
One request I have is to remove the windows beep sound when entering score (Might also happen with player names but not 100% sure), its only a small thing but is slightly annoying I don't code at all, so if i can do this on my end I would be grateful if you quickly told me how!
Great work otherwise, thanks for providing it as a free service!

Hmm, I didn't notice any beeps when I was using this.
Ah, I should really check if I'm the last post in the thread before making additional replies...

It's movable, but apparently only when you click on certain spots.
Ctrl+M doesn't work for me, at all.
In any event, I'm pretty solid with .NET and I finish exams in little under two weeks, so if you'd like some help send a PM my way.

Hey now, don't hate on the gosupad.
I, too, would like to figure out a way to get it to show up without having to captured layered windows, though.
Hi, great features in the new update! Thanks for listening to the suggestions I've encountered a tiny problem. You allow for up-to 9 characters in the name field (truncating the rest) for each player when battlenet allows more (12? 14? not sure). IMO a good way to fix this would be to allow resizing the window. It would also fix this "bug" and add the feature which I'm sure some are looking forward to.

This is for everyone having trouble finding the so called "notrans" version.
Its on the download page, theres two downloads right next to (above/below) each other, look here:
1) The recommended download (this one has transparency, and autoupdates).
2) The "no transparency version" - for the people that cant capture layered / transparent windows - Please note that this version does not auto update.

Thanks for the kind words I haven't put any sound into the application, so what you might hear is the windows standard sounds (which most people have probably disabled). You can disable those here (for windows 7): control panel->sounds->sound tab->choose "no sounds" in the drop-down menu - this will remove all windows sounds (ie. startup and shutdown sounds etc. as well). I dont have a XP / Vista machine available, but its somewhere around the same place (you can definately google "disable windows sounds for xp/vista").

Ah yes, I've seen the issues with moving it now, and I'll have it fixed in the next version (it doesnt handle the drag on some of the new/changed controls - ie. the new score thingy).
Craton, you're most welcome to help, I'd love that - I'll PM you

As a quick fix, I have implemented a feature where you can resize the text of the players, which should work for now. Making it resize is a bit more tricky due to the way the user interface is set up, but it will definately come eventually The text resizing will come in the next hotfix.
Hey I noticed that if you try to add a score through hotkey (Ctrl + f5 for example), it crashes the program. Maybe its just for me, but I thought I would give you a heads up.

Yep, i know, sadly I didnt catch that before release, but I found the error and fixed it.
It will arrive in the v0.3.0 version (the next release).
I'm happy to announce the release of the v0.3.0 version!
This includes all fixes to issues mentioned in this thread, as well as a lot of the features requested. If you guys need to contact me fast, I'm almost always available on skype, and my skype id is nodashdk (can be found in the about box of the app as well).
Even with the no trans version livestream procaster did not capture the overlay, in either windowed or full screen mode, which I find odd... I actually havnt gotten the overlay to work yet with Livestream, has anyone else?
nodash - well done on a fantastic app! Keep up the great work!
I had the same problem with LiveStream when testing this app (notrans version) last night. I can't see any settings within procaster to show the overlay.
A couple of other items I would like to see in the app is the ability to add a logo and also a section to display the map name.
Also, as a general question to everyone out there, I would like to use this in replay commentary and HD recording in tools like FRAPS. Does anyone know if it is possible to capture overlays in FRAPS or is there another recording tool I should use to do this?

Hmm, I gotta look in to the notrans thing again, im pretty sure it worked in earlier versions (can someone please confirm?).
The map name section is a good idea, but the logo I was thinking of putting into the StreamerOverlay which will hit soon(ish) - that should be used to make overlays on ie. replay bar (not that needed anymore), command button bar, portrait, and every other place you might like it (you can move around, resize etc, but it will have some default placements for your convenience).
I have some guys using this with fraps, but as far as I know theres no streaming app out there that can do it, so I added the next best thing in mine - you can use the screenshot feature to save a screenshot of the app as it looks now, and then put that over your video in a video edit application - You can take a screenshot with F11 (if im not mistaking, I dont have it near me on this computer (its in the right click menu as well, in tools as far as i remember).
Yes you can stream your game with this but I don't really see the point as the overlay shows what the status is of the match - ie Best of 3 match and the players are tied 1-1 and are now playing ithe decider.
It applcation is mostly for tournaments and analysing replays while casting/streaming them. Similar to the GSL overlay in their matches.
Is there any way to make this so that I can change the display without having StreamerMatch as the active window ? I always have to tab to it, which is okay, but it'd be so nice if I could just press F1, change the name, etcetera.

Not really - that would mean you couldnt use those hotkeys in _any_ applications - however, theres a global hotkey to give the app focus (I think its ctrl+alt+F10) (that way you dont have to alt-tab to it or click it with the mouse).

Hey, I know this is a old Thread and so on, but I really liked the Overlay. Only Question I have: Is there a way, to sync the Overlay, with the Ingame "Ctrl + N" Overlay? Cause depending on the spawn positions, the food count will be switched.
Of course I could just turn the ingame overlay off, but I like having the food in the middle of the screen, as do the viewers.
Could you implement a Hotkey, that wil switch the two players? Lets say, I got player 1 to the left and player 2 to the right. But now the ingame overlay sets player 2 to the left and player 1 to the right. Having a hotkey to switch it, so it matches up with the ingame overlay, would be awesome!
Numbers would be awesome aswell, but I don't really know how to add them, other then through XSplit. And then we got the same problem. If the ingame overlay switches, the numbers are wrong.

Anyway, I highly recommend to see Battle.Net Invational Matches. They used only numbers over ingame overlay
