Imagine 2 Tyler's at a tournament :3 But ye, I wouldn't worry about it to much, you could say the same thing about the same servers, what if someone like select has 2 us accounts, 1 eu account, 2 kor accounts, why is fair that he takes up spots in every GM league? Since that is atleast 2 people that won't get in it. In the end, it's just what you think the GM league should be, in my opinion the GM league should be the top of the players, so in the end I don't care if there are 2 selects, 2 tylers, 2 idra's, since those spots would probably just be taken up by "WizardSlayer304" who never participates in online or offline tournaments. I mean how many guys in the weekly top200's do you think of "who the hell is this guy" So in the end if top200 actually means top100 + 100 smurf accounts I couldn't really care, I would actually find it funny that people would care enough to keep those in the GM league to play on all of them to keep them there. And does it actually mean something? Not really, it's just a pretty icon, people who have ambitions to go pro can still do so, being allowed into tournaments isn't exactly based on league, you still have enough ways to make a name for yourself. And if blizzard has another view on it, it's rather easy to do, keep logs of IP's, see if people have smurfs. Send them a mail that they will remove all but one account, and they have to say wich account they want to keep.

Realistically I don't think it is that big of a deal. Ladder rank doesn't entirely represent skill so I don't see the issue. If a player wants to put the time and dedication into holding multiple accounts in the top 200 then good on them. Very few people will have even 2 (let alone more) accounts in the top 200.

E.g. A long while back MoonGlade (Z) and his smurf account Kashimashi (T) held both #1 and #2 spots on SEA ladder.

I do think it would be fairer if people only had one account in grandmasters, but it's no big deal and there's not really any way to easily enforce it without punishing people who really do play on the same IP (such as the ROOT house, and the house with Idra/machine). It's not a big problem, just let people multi-account if they really want to.

Maybe Only One Account on GM per IP Address This isn't very fair, cus obviously there could be two GMs in the same house. (Think: Day9 and Tastosis)

Keeping up with bonus pool isn't exactly a challenge if you're a professional and play hours of starcraft every single day. This. It's not a big deal, if you are a top 200 player it's an average of 2 games a day per account to spend all your bonus pool. You don't even need to be a pro/play multiple hours a day to have multiple accounts in the top 200.

And I would think that anybody in the top 5 of ladder is skilled. Why is there such a hate on Combatex's skill level?
