I don't really see why you'd want someone like Catz or Minigun if you want to really win significant tournaments, but I guess this is a big step for Complexity. Buying a team then losing its two best players is not, however. gaming companies make their money from sponsorship's. being a popular player can be just as important as being good, and having a variety of players helps boost the brand. im no marketing expert but i wouldnt be surprised to find out that teams are ok having 1 'star' player to win tourneys and some personalities to spread the message to less hardcore fans Oh...like EG? Perhaps he just meant bigger as in a bigger entity in terms of competition, they were largely considered the best team in North America.

Root members have always been famous for sticking to their team. They've also been famous for not having enough sponsors, so I guess that's what tilted them at the end. What'll happen to the team house?

And the other guys are 'OK'. It's a strong team regardless. I mean if you could say the same thing about team liquid, that currently has no 'star' player who is winning a lot. They're still quite strong players, and there's no reason to count them out in any tournament.

Hopefully everything works out for them. I can understand Catz's statement completely and I fully support the entire team, whether they decided to move onto coL or not. Much <3s! Exactly. Sucks to see my favorite team selling to the man ..... I thought they just acquired a couple sponsors not too recently???

Back on topic, this is probably a good move for ROOT in the long run, especially after they lost qxc to FXO, and Kiwikaki has been performing well enough that he was likely to leave soon anyway.

Inka joined Lazarus Gaming, with that team having gone defunct he's currently a free agent. So far as I know he's still living with Machine and IdrA in Arizona.
