About PMS|H2O Clan: PMS Clan, also known as Pandora's Mighty Soldiers is the world's largest multi-platform online female gaming group, launched in 2002, with active game divisions on Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, and PC platforms. Unlike many gaming clans, the main focus of the PMS clan is not just to play our best; our mission is to provide a fun, positive, and competitive online gaming experience to other female gamers in an effort to recruit and retain females in the online gaming environment.
H2O Clan was launched as the male only counterpart clan of PMS in 2004, in the attempt to recognize males that have supported females in gaming and provide an active and competitive clan and community for them. H2O members typically try to raise the industry's awareness of female consumers, and support and compete alongside PMS members at events or competitions.
About the Starcraft 2 Division: Currently the Starcraft 2 Division consists of 50 members / recruits of all skill levels. The Division, which started with 8 people back in August, has been growing very rapidly. PMS|H2O has recently added the Starcraft 2 Pro Team to get into the competitive Starcraft 2 scene. PMS|H2O is looking to keep the Pro Team small, but is still open recruitment for anyone else looking to join and be part of the community.
Pro Division Players:
PMS Pro: Alyssa "AuRora" Goose
H2O Pro: Oscar "TechnoBoy" Rivera Ben "GraViTy" Molls John "KiF1rE" Vahary Jared "Zoia" Eggleston Eric "sNiDgeNs" Tom
PMS|H2O is currently accepting applications to expand our Pro Team and Competitive/Casual Team rosters. We accept all players of all skill levels and races. If you are interested in joining, feel free to fill out an application at http://bit.ly/SC2Recruitment.
Awesome stuff. I was somewhat friends with some of their CSS team waaaay back in the day. Nice to see another established clan push into the SC2 scene.

PMS originally stood for 'Psychotic Man Slayers', then changed to 'Pandoras Mighty Soldiers'. Still, I think we all think the same thing when we read it...

I mean, good luck to technoboy, he's been on h2o/pms since forever and was an outstanding player in wc3, but i don't see this team really succeeding. They've never done so in the past. Technoboy is a great RTS player, and would really benefit from joining a better team IMO.

I remember hearing a lot about PMS in various magazines and whatnot back when Halo 2 and 3 were really big and I wasn't even aware that a starcraft competitive scene existed. It's cool that you've opened a SC2 division!
I was an H2O back when the PC Division was young and they had their first Counterstrike team. I kind of have mixed feelings about the whole organization, the way they gain publicity and whatnot, but I always found that the members themselves were fairly innocent in that regard, and very nice/kind/etc. I still have a few friends from there, years later.
I wish the players the best, anyway. I met Technoboy once a couple years ago in New York at Digital Life and he was a pretty cool guy.
Also, a little history lesson, PMS used to mean "Psychotic Men Slayers," with the H2Os known as "Waterboys" until they changed it to "Pandora's Mighty Soldiers" when inventing the H2O brother-division.
On July 06 2011 16:44 HaNdFisH wrote: wtf technoboy was a girl? I did not know that
Technoboy is a dude. PMS/H2O is what separates the woman from the men within the clan/guild/team/group/organization. The gender you are determines the tag you wear (and in team games, the division you're in, pending on group size.)
I've been a PMS member for nearly 7 years (September will be 7, sheesh). I've made so many friends within this community and have watched it grow from just a handful to over 2,000 active members! Between all of our appearances at events, television exposure, media exposure, (not gonna name drop, but you can probably just Google it if you're interested) etc. we've built a huge family of gamers across all platforms that cannot be rivaled by many.
I'm now the co-leader of the SC2 division and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm so proud of all of my team and staff, and equally proud to be a part of PMS|H2O on a much larger level.
I encourage any player who has great sportsmanship, a competitive spirit, dedication and a love for community to apply. Regardless of skill level, you're welcome to fill out an application but keep in mind that our Pro Team is reserved for high level competitive players and we're aiming to keep it relatively small. If you'd still like to be a part of our community, we have a competitive and casual team that is open to all players.
To address a couple of things mentioned earlier in the thread;
Yes, PMS Clan is a female clan. However, H2O is our male counterpart and our StarCraft 2 division is a co-ed team. As of right now, including myself we only have 3 girls in the SC2 division. To recap; PMS = girls, H2O = guys.
Nokarot -- don't know if you remember me, but I played CS with you way back in the day with Jumper, Stardust and Midol under the tag DPUNX. Nice to see you around.
Seltzer is AWESOME and we (especially the PC division) <3 her. So proud of what she's accomplishing in eSports.
Also, some of you may recognize the PMS name from our Pro DotA team PMS Asterisk.
Look forward to having some of you on our team! I truly believe the SC2 community harbors some of the most admirable gamers on the planet. gl hf!
Do guys and girls really mix so badly in a competitive clan/team ?:o Really dislike the way these things tend to be run, and the methods they use to achieve popularity. Hope this is somewhat different from the expectations.
I'm sure 20 single whiteknights will jump on me now, but i guess i wish you good luck.. keep it classy ;D

Anyways, gl with further thingies.. I might look at signing up
Glad I'm not the only one that noticed lol... made me laugh for a bit.
Best of luck to their team though, never heard of either player or the organization itself, but look forward to potentially seeing them in some games/tournaments.
Woah. Didn't know this lot had interest SC2. As far as I know this clan/team was kicking ass back in the days of original Quake (under another name but yeah). Soooo historically it's a pretty big name.

On the contrary the only difference between the h20 and PMS clans are the members genders and clan tags other than that we all play the games together.
Congratz to Flo and Technoboy for being the first on the PMS|H2O pro team hope to see you two beastin it up at MLG Aniheim.
Just responding to a number of things: 1) Yes, PMS Seltzer and H2O Torch are still community members with the clan. (Seltzer used to be the co-general for PC before she started traveling for her work now.)
2) Yes, the name was chosen for its ironic marketing aspects. (We have a sense of humor.) We really are focused on positive gaming for girls, and the guys who endorse this game play.... not some of the other marketing aspects that we are routinely accused of but everyone has their own opinion.
3) We have community membership and different levels of game play - including selective pro level play like what was outlined above. We will be launching our esports site for a couple of our teams in the coming weeks.
Please feel free to join our Official Xfire Community and our Steam Friends and Family Group - which is open to all. Love to have more awesome gamers in the community! Definitely say hi and add us to steam/xfire/raptr, etc.
Go Technoboy and Flo! And H2O p34nUt and ItsRipley PMS. <3 how you represent the community!

Holy shit technoboy is a G, hopefully he does well. he sold me his korean account and I remember watching him in WC3, one of the best american players ever.
I lend Technoboy my smurf EU account, then after a week i was freaked amazed. its high masters!!! gahhh <3 Technoboy but now I can never play that account (too high rank for my skill level)
Played them several times in Halo2. Big team battle (8v8) and clan battles. They were good. If you talk to any of the old pms halo2 players give them my best wishes on behalf of ATF (which merged with The diplomats and Big Team kings) good times
Yeah I used to play some of them in Halo 2, not sure if they are the same group. I remember being told PMS stood for Psychotic Man Slayers but perhaps they tricked me.
Welcome! But why distinguish yourselves as females by the menstrual/reproductive system? PMS is clever, but I'm personally not a fan of the name (but very supportive of the project/idea).
Love you ladies! XD Let me know anything and everything that I can do to support this team! I was so excited to hear about it when Flo told me at NASL!
i've played against PMS players in halo, gears and cod 4 when i was into console, but i've heard they had better teams on console. they're pretty cool people overall. i get the impression from the background of the players on this team are a bit more serious here with SC2, hopefully this will make some potentially hidden female talent known.

PMS|H2O Clan would like to announce the addition of their newest PMS member to the Starcraft 2 Pro Team: Alysa "AuRora" Goose!!!!!!
AuRora is a Zerg player. She has placed 1st in ESL Iron Lady Cups #1 & #2, as well as 2nd Place in CiG Girls #1 and ESL Ladies Night Cup 2010. She also performed exceptionally well in the Newegg Wanfest 2010, placing Top 8 out of over 600 players!!
AuRora is said to be one of the best female Starcraft 2 players, and even one of the best all around players out there, and PMS|H2O knows that she will be a great addition to the Starcraft 2 Pro Team roster.
When asked on her feelings on joining PMS|H2O, AuRora said:
I am super happy for the invite and the chance to play for the PMS|H2O Pro Team!! They are a great organization and I will do my best to win some games, have some fun and make some friends! Big shoutout to all my teammates and the sponsors! Thanks!!
Unfortunately, AuRora will not be attending MLG Anaheim, but she will definitely be attending all future MLGs and sporting a brand new PMS shirt while she takes on other pro players, and climbs her way up the bracket.
Hey its Enixius from the website here =D Go Flo!!! Hopefully I'll be up there one day (stupid computer) And I just want to say that it's always great that new teams pop up and you'll never know where the talent might breed. And PMS clan is amazing for spreading ESPORTS to women worldwide. ^^
PMS|H2O would like to proudly announce a HUGE addition to the PMS|H2O Pro Team lineup! We are adding 4 new players to our Pro Team lineup. All 4 players have unique play styles and great attitudes toward the game, and we know that they will do extremely well in their future participation.
So, without further ado, our next 4 additions to the PMS|H2O Pro Team are: Ben "GraViTy" Molls John "KiF1rE" Vahary Jared "Zoia" Eggleston Eric "sNiDgeNS" Tom
We wish great success to our newest additions to the PMS|H2O Pro Team. We are working on trying to send our complete Pro Team to future events, including IPL3 and MLG Orlando/Providence, but no definite arrangements have been made. Stay tuned to hear more about the Pro Team's future events!
Also: we have implemented a team stream page, where you can see these players play LIVE!!! Starting next week, we will have a scheduled lineup for our players to play their ladder games live, as well as streamed and casted tournaments and league matches. Please visit our stream and Follow us on twitch.tv (http://www.twitch.tv/PMSH2OStarcraft) and on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/PMSH2OStarcraft)
