Poor Yellow I feel bad for him. Hopefully he gives it a second try. Something he must consider is: He went from Gold 51 to borderline grandmasters. That deserves some recognition. He can now give boxer run for his money which is really good. gogo YELLOW FIGHTING !!!!!!

Hero had to go through qualifiers even though he was easily high enough to get a code a spot from mlg. I was soooo sad to see yellow loose, but his progress from his match vs boxer till now is pretty insane, I hope he makes it next time and gom follows him till there. SeleCT got the Code A invite. The invite seems to be on a "foreigners" only policy. If Hero lived in the USA working with Liquid for about a year I presume he'd be eligible then. Same for Puma.
Select seems to be a unique circumstance where his foreigner/korean status is in doubt. By that I mean he was allowed to compete in the North American Battle.net Invitational and also be eligable for code A status.

Ok he failed to get to code A, now he can play without being in rush mode, and learn more about other races like he wanted to! With this extra time until the next qualifiers, he will not be as cramped for time, and I'm sure he will do much much better
I really hope the show continues, he has such potential, and from what we saw in ep4, real motivation to do well...
BTW, how long until next qualifiers?
|
Does anyone have a link to a bracket/results? I would really appreciate it!

You guys should really watch the episodes until the very end. I can only assume it's the lead-in to the Code S Championship

When they were showing the brief excerpts from Yellow's games after he'd started to improve, I really liked when they showed him doing the proxy hatchery cancel into manner evo chamber at the expansion nexus spot for a Protoss FFE'er, that was awesome.

I think it's cause he's been a resident in NY for awhile, although I don't know his exact status in terms of green card/how long he's gonna be there, his Korean citizenship, etc.

\\if you look deep into his games, yellow seems to seriously be playing ahead of himself in his games. he could be a serious macro beast eating the entire map like a new nestea based on the beta yellow we've seen being trained. don't abandon hope if he doesn't shit on everyone too soon. i seriously think give or take a season or two time if he shows the same commitment he can be a true murderer at scTWO
