LOL what does that have to do with this ?
TT1 was a kid when he did that, sure its bad, but between cheating as a kid and stealing money as a adult, which is worse ?

Yeah, it is a bit lame for people to say "you cheated at a game" = "You stole a multithousand dollar amount from me". Come back down to earth you opinionated nerds.

payout was late, we recently got the money

As much as I may not be entirely on TT1's side I have to agree; keep his former maphacking the fuck out of it, it has nothing to do with what Fenix did and just because TT1 did something wrong in BW all that time ago doesn't mean he's wrong by default.
If TT1 came here accusing fenix of shit in BW, referring to his maphacking might be somewhat more valid (but still technically off-topic).
If Hitler came in here and accused Fenix of being a dishonest fuck, sure, disregard him. But don't go all "LOL you maphacked retard" on TT1 now in September of 2011

we made the agreed BEFORE the tournament had started, this is something that is common which several other players from different teams have done aswell.. just gotta know who your dealing with i guess =] i learned my lesson tho

I'm proud and jealous of Fenix at the same time. I had a feeling the first major foreigner to be acquired would be a Terran and thank goodness its a team that needed to fill their holes in their racial line up.
Fenix has posted way better results than any Terran not named MVP in that roster.
Congrats to IM and Fenix on making a respectable partnership.

IM getting off at the airport Great move by fenix though to have the opportunity to train with IM. AWESOME !
While the comparison is passable I won't consider any team to have the four horseman until they have monsters representing T, Z, P and R. So far only MVP is in a position to do that but none of them besides Don Raegu can be qualified as scary and dominate.

There is nothing wrong with agreeing to split prize money, its is regularly done in poker tournaments, on pokerstars moderators can even pause the game so players can sort out some kind of a deal. fenix was basically freerolling tt1, its very unethical.
Anyways, gl to fenix, he showed some great games

Are you saying DRG>Nestea? I'm confused.

Yes it is. Who gives a fuck if poker players do it? Splitting a pot pool is a step above match-making. There's no incentive to try.

I'm under the impression that it's not uncommon for players to agree to splitting the prize money for a tournament if they're on the same team, but maybe that's just me.

@TT1 Next time play for your money...
I am not saying that what Fenix did was honest/correct, but going 1 base carriers just for the kicks of it instead of playing seriously for the fans is ridiculous IMO.
Play fair and make the game even more enjoyable to watch, that's all the fans ask of you.
That type of problem you had with Fenix was already dealt with as he had to leave the team, now all you should do IMO is live your life and give your best on winning games, specially against him to get your personal revenge the right way. You do realize that you can never "win" on a thread like this, right?
Let it go, man... let it go!

Haters gonna hate. None of these "he cheataed he deserves it" people would ever try asserting this supposedly logical moral assessment in a conversation with both of those people in the real world. They wouldn't have the nerve to back their junk up anymore because even in people that dingus-y, there's a voice in them that actually knows better. They're just pooping out some lazy internet badass opinions like the suave hand of judgement. Ballers!

Thats pretty awesome. Fenix is a cool guy and I hope he does well.

In business there is more to making acquisitions than the level of performance of an employee. Their ability to travel and assimilate into the business culture is also important. Fewer people are cut out for that than you would realize.

Does one of those poker players then essentially throw the rest of the hands? That's basically what tt1 did. What Fenix did was wrong obviously but the fact that TT1 allowed this agreement to affect his play is equally disturbing to me.

this is so awesome, congrats fenix! make us foreigners proud :D

no when i got caught in tsl1 the replays that they referred to were dated, u should read the post
