I don't think NASL is on the same level as MLG. IMO MLG has nothing to worry about, Except for maybe IGN. Gotta see how IPL event turns out.

That would be my dream come true, I don't even care what I would be doing if my boss was that damn cool. Offer to fill volunteer positions at events, be a respected forum member, and show initiative. The first thing I listed is by far the most important as they get to know you and see your level of seriousness towards e-sports and the company.

What exactly is your problem with that? It would be a pretty weird to publically announce they don't "need" any more of your money. As far as I know, MLG is not a charity.

It will be very easy and affordable for top Euros to make our events in 2012. 3) 2012, done. 4) Not possible. What we can do is make VoDs, rebroadcasts, etc. more accessible, but being able to have optimal viewing times for everyone, regardless of global location, is really not possible. We'll do our best, and we're open to suggestions, but this one might be something that will never be 'optimal' for everyone. Instead of making announcements of announcements. Why not make it public when it's ready? You guys really haven't told us anything from the SoTG at Raleigh to this. We get it. You guys are excited; the fans are excited. Enough crescendos.

Currently, MLG still has plenty of flaws and is nowhere near perfect. Yes, they are working on it, but so is NASL and IGN. It remains to be seen which will become the most prominant tournament on NA soil. Things that are being worked on in each respective tournament (in spoilers because this is way off topic): MLG: + Show Spoiler + - current prizemoney is a joke without the code S spot on the line (which is worth at least 1,5k for dropping out of the ro32) and without them sponsoring the flight for the Koreans plus caring for them so well during the event, most of them wouldn't even consider attending the tournament - current tournament format is bad (according to public opinion) well, this has been discussed to death fixes to be expected next season, next year. :-) NASL: + Show Spoiler + - production quality despite the huge prize pool, the production quality was very poor. even the attending players realized this, the Koreans listed this as one of the reasons why they withdrew from the tournament (not that I side with them in this regard, pulling out of a signed contract is a stupid move). I understand that maybe for their sponsors it is important to have such a huge prize pool so that not much money (relatively) is left for production, however claiming that such a humongous huge prize pool for the fans was not a wise move. - scheduling despite the games not being broadcasted live, they decide to cast the games live on the spot, which results in very many scheduling conflicts and walk overs due to players not attending. IGN: + Show Spoiler + - limited to specific regions people might disagree with me here, but I don't take a tournament that excludes the best players of the world seriously. I do not expect tournaments to treat Korean players special, but excluding them by the rules is a dickass move. - general broadcasting plan making the results of the qualifier public while not broadcasting it live is a bad idea and it seems most of the people here agree with me. Either hold the results secret and broadcast it in the following week (like ESV Korean weekly), or just broadcast it live and post the results as they fly in. tl;dr: Each tournaments has its flaws and nothing is perfect yet, but everybody is working hard to improve. The players and fans can only benefit from it.

This whole 'announcement of an announcement' community bash trend is pretty comical. I answered his questions/comments. When I can answer them with more information I will, but I would rather over communicate than have you guys speculating on silence. No crescendo intended, just assurances that we're listening and patient questing answering. Go internets!
