I hope Forgg's switch triggers a whole bunch of other BW players to switch to sc2. I wish to see the elephant herded out of the room, finally. Most BW players that anyone would want to see switch have way too high salaries to bother switching over, especially with the GSL being the only main source of cash for Korean pro's.
That being said I would cry Jizzy tears of awesome if The Mantoss switched over... I'm pretty sure in an interview recently he said he has no plans to ever switch over. But damn out of all the old legends I fell like he would do the best....
Nostalgia aside Great news that ForGG is officially switching! Can't wait to see him rip apart the code A qualifiers!

He plays Terran. Raptor on KR ladder.

Someone start a korean progaming team called Huckleberry!

Oh. Gosu timing terran! WIsh you the best

(Seriously though, I am sure ForGG will do great...but dang the way people act like BW converts are just going to lay waste to the SC2 scene can be annoying, especially when it has yet to come to fruition. Albeit not with a pro that is as close to his prime as ForGG is. He is probably the first real test to see how well the logic holds up that BW pro = automatic SC2 baller. It will be interesting to watch either way, and I wish him the absolute best and much success). MVP, Nestea, MC, the players who have dominated GSL, they weren't BW pros, right? None of them were top BW pros, they were all B-teamers and practice partners. Name one A-teamer who has switched and lived up to the hype. The point is that BW and SC2 are different games. Success in one does not guarantee success in the other, and names like MVP, Nestea and MC PROVE that. They don't disprove it.
Umm, Mvp was an A-teamer. And seeing as he's the best player in the world, i'd say he's lived up to the hype.

Better yet, a team named BlueberryMuf

Fun fact: JulyZerg's last recorded BW games on his BW TLPD were against SungEun, whose last recorded games on his TLPD were against fOrGG.
Just browsing through TLPDs and noticed this funny quirk.

Apex, Raptor, Fin are all his accounts btw. Pretty sick!

That's like saying he was China's star cricket player.
In any other team, he'd have been mid-tier/B-team IMO.
Edit: Having said that, I agree with you. forGG will rape SC2 but probably won't be insta-bonjwa or anything.

Awesome, I can't wait to see how the timing attacks go :D

oh god, as much as i hate seeing people retire for SC2, forGG in SC2 = unfair as all hell. Time attacker is so much stronger in SC2, I hope he rips people up in hilarious fashion

MVP hit his peak right before he retired from BW. Beating Stork, Best, Baby and taking a game off (god mode) Flash in a series.
He was pretty damn good when he switched over.

OMG EPIC so this is official now! he was in GM anyways xD hurray!
the new name is alright, didn't really like ForGG
Anyways, if he was better than MVP overall in BW, though he is cheesy, then imagine how epic his pushes/cheese may be in SC2, and how ridiculously sick they could be (under the assumption that if better players like Jaedong Stork Bisu Flash were to change to SC2, they would be be better than Nestea and MVP like they were in BW)

Stork and Flash? Oh shit. Well then, I guess perhaps MVP is doing really well in SC2 cus he was already really good (reached at the end of his BW career).

oh. godddd. oh god. yep. That just blew my mind.

I hope to god that Gom somehow works out an agreement with the Foo Fighters and whoever manages their music to zoom in on ForGG's face and start playing The Pretender whenever he pushes out with his timing attack.

Does korea even have to worry about american copyright laws, a lot of these OSL intros use high profile songs..

Sad that forgg won't be helping KT 3-peat (sure could use a competent #2 terran) but seeing him play SC2 is better than not seeing him play at all. Can't wait to see what kind of sick timing attacks he'll show us. I just hope he hasn't lost his fire from being retired for 10 months.

ForGG vs Yellow Code A qualifiers finals. Make it so.
