I saw Desrow lose to a prolonged 1 basing Terran on his Stream.
Desrow had his 2nd Nexus running for quite a while and Desrow macro slipped and he failed to make enough units to hold off a 1 base Terran (I think he forgot a gateway or two) He had a lot of minerals saved up.
The 1 basing Terran smashed him even after Desrow killed some of his pushes... Desrow didn't make enough Zealots to tank for the stalkers and got rolled.
Terrible micro and Terrible decision making/macro in that game (Maybe he was just having a bad day)

This post from rei pretty much mirrors my sentiments exactly (in that I don't think he can get THAT much from it, but best of luck regardless):

Do you even know desrow? the reason TL vets here does not like him is because he constantly brags about himself beating big name players, posting replays all over TL without letting his follows know his overall records against all those ppl in his replays that he brag about.
And Chill is right, Desrow should enjoy his time in korea, but he doesn't have the right mind set to acquire enough confident and skill to compete with the best. If he had a good mindset we wouldn't be seeing all these brag blogs.
Oh and for your information, there is such thing as talents in sc2, this talent is the ability to always make the right decision under stress and high pressure situations. None of his10 hours a day 7 days a week practice hours is going to create a high pressure situation consistently.
After said all that, I honestly hope desrow will have a good time, and become better at sc2, tryout the Code A qualifier, but don't give up when you fail at first attempt, keep try and try again.
If you think this is bad you haven't seen TT1 type. At least Juan tried to make a point.

Ps: Make Chill eat his words GSL Code S March, Desrow incoming
He won't be playing with better players. Why do people think this?
He has not hit the roof of NA and EU. The roof on KR is much higher. He will simply be playing people the same skill level as the people he was hitting on NA, except better.
Think about it like a literal ladder. Desrow right now is climbing the NA ladder. He is on the 8th of 10 rungs. Pretty good, but their are still more rungs to climb. Now, on the other side of this huge fucking ocean theirs a ladder where people speak a different language have a hugely different culture etc, but their ladder goes up to the 15th rung (. Except Desrow wont be on that 15th rung. He will still be on the 8th. He will be playing exactly the same level of starcraft, except against Korean C Teamers instead of NA B teamers.
!!! my frustration with this thread grows every time I open it
My thoughts exactly!
that said, i feel like with the proper mindset and work ethic, he will benefit from the practice environment there. (who wouldn't?)

Then topping it off with the "Oh but I'm a good guy so good luck I guess" as if that makes it okay. Very childish behavior.

Yes you're right. Clearly there is no such thing as talent in this world
LOL
When I read that first line and saw how painful it would be to read I disregarded the rest of his post. How is that unreasonable? If you start off your "paragraph" with a point about how talent doesn't actually exist (which is probably one of the most unreasonable things he could have possibly argued here), I am going to assume that's the main point of the paragraph, such as a thesis. Otherwise I assume he would have started a new paragraph.
Unless you honestly agree that talent is nonexistent in SC2... in which case LOL
The amount of evidence to the contrary is so overwhelming it's absurd
