You realise that Stephano played like 3 hours a day for some time before taking one major tournament? Call that what you want, but in this world that phenomenon can be considered talent. With enough work every midget can play football like Maradona??? You missed the whole fucking ball. Its really funny the thing you are saying, really funny...
Does anyone actually have the ability to read such a garbled wall of junk text with lack of any trace of grammar whatsoever?
I mean there's grammar naziing... and then there's when something is written so terribly it's literally painful to read.
Learn some respect, especially when English isn't even his first language...grow the hell up orb.
There's a difference between not knowing a language and putting in 0 effort.
i know english/ but i cdan write like this too then cause u trouble have undertstanding it cause i just spew words like textual diarrhea / but you cant say antyhing cause i get to use lacdk of english first langauge as my excsuse
He clearly applied 0 effort to making his post readable, so why should I show him any modicum of respect? I think it's pretty obvious he didn't read over his message or care at all whether or not it was going to be easily comprehensible.
What the hell? He wrote out how he felt about a subject, just as you have done, to be fair he is much more informed about the topic than you are, so who are you to disregarde his opinion just because it isn't made in the neatest format? I'm unsure why you feel the need to be disrespectful, anyone can read what Major has put, you just had the arrogance to highlight that you were unhappy with it, Major made a valid point about something he is knowledgable in and that should be enough for people to listen regardless of illegibility.
Yes you're right. Clearly there is no such thing as talent in this world
LOL
When I read that first line and saw how painful it would be to read I disregarded the rest of his post. How is that unreasonable? If you start off your "paragraph" with a point about how talent doesn't actually exist (which is probably one of the most unreasonable things he could have possibly argued here), I am going to assume that's the main point of the paragraph, such as a thesis. Otherwise I assume he would have started a new paragraph.
Unless you honestly agree that talent is nonexistent in SC2... in which case LOL
You need to develop some social skills and stop being so mean to people. If you truly want them to improve, constructive criticism is the best policy. And you talk about painful to read? This is painful to listen to.
Stop being so mean? Am I bashing desrow? Am I bashing major? I was simply saying he (major) didn't put any effort into his post and formatted it so terribly that I wasn't even willing to read the whole thing. It's nothing against his person.
It's like if someone baked you a cake but they basically just threw some sugar, flour, and butter into a pan and threw it into the oven. You wouldn't finish your piece and eat the entire thing because they put in 0 effort. However, if they put in a ton of effort to make a good cake, you'll generally finish the piece and eat it all (even if it tastes terrible) to show respect because at least that person tried their hardest.
But yes, let's post a video of a game I played back in the first week of beta when no one knew how to play this game along with sound clips that were edited in from different points in time on my stream that have nothing to do with the actual plays going on. GOOD ONE BRO!
Lets assume in your analogy that both of these individuals had very little experience with baking. One puts in a lot of effort one does not. The cakes look the same, and they taste the same (like shit). How the fuck do you know which one put in the effort unless you were watching them bake it? While it wasn't a literary master piece with a little thought while reading it you could understand the general ideas he was trying to get across. Instead of using the brain you clearly have for anyone that has heard you cast, and try to interpret you decide to spend that energy to bash his post.
EDIT: I could make this a bit more clear but I'd like to think you are able to get the general theme instead of focusing on the negative. I understand that is difficult for some.

you think you cool cause u can bash on my typing skills? yes i tried to put effort into be as understandable as possible, and i dont know why u talking about something clearly u dont undestearnd if u really believe someone is magically borns with a special talent to do X thing on their life than u keep believing that way thats really gonna get u far....
There's a difference between a natural affinity for something and magically starting off being amazing.
Just because you aren't born grandmaster doesn't mean some people can't learn faster than others at certain things...
Like albert einstein said: “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
Different people will have different things they are either naturally better at or are quicker to learn than others. Trying to pretend that given the same amount of time every single person would be exactly equal at any given activity is absolute nonsense.
It's actually pretty infuriating watching people bash players they don't think are top notch. Why can't the sc2 community be supportive of players going to korea? Just because they aren't top code s, or you think they suck, good for you, shut your mouth and let him live his dream. Why can't every one of these posts be filled with, "goodluck" or, "can't wait to see you improve".
It's fine if you don't think he's top notch, but you don't have to post it in his going to korea thread.
Regardless of how bm desRow has been to me in the past I am still so happy for him to have this opportunity and hope that he will make the best of his time in Korea. Best of luck! :D

Slayers Boxer has zero big StarCraft 2 tournament wins. Would it not be newsworthy if he moved to America, just because of that?

Boxer has a huge background and he's pretty good. Don't ever compare again desrow with boxer man. EVER

GL to him, I am always happy to see someone achieving his dreams. Hopefully he will be able to produce good content in his stream from there.
But, honestly, I don't think it makes that much sense for him... if you are not a top western player already, how much do you expect to improve in Korea? It's like playing a video game on Normal mode, not being able to finish and than go "ALL RIGHT, time to switch to Hard".
Well, as long is he is happy and his team is willing to support him, best of luck and have fun!

Ah that's the funniest thing i've seen in a long time golden!!
You know what? I agree with Major in his assertion that anyone can reach the top with the effort. That said, not everyone is ready to do so yet and my main criticism of Desrow's move is it's too early.
He will undoubtedly improve -- I have no doubt about that. But is it worth the several $1000 to mass game on the KR server lag-free? He could just as easily do the same with slight delay from home. I'd argue that to actually benefit from Korea, you'd have to live in a team house, which means you'd have to be on a notable team with notable results.
I think it's silly for Desrow to go to Korea now. It would be far smarter for him to work his way up in NA, get himself to top-tier foreigner status, and then go when he's reaching the peak of what the foreign scene has to offer. That's what Huk/Nani did and what Idra did in SC1. Even players a tier below that, like Major, were pretty much at the absolute top of their scenes.
