Does anyone actually have the ability to read such a garbled wall of junk text with lack of any trace of grammar whatsoever?
I mean there's grammar naziing... and then there's when something is written so terribly it's literally painful to read.
Learn some respect, especially when English isn't even his first language...grow the hell up orb.
There's a difference between not knowing a language and putting in 0 effort.
i know english/ but i cdan write like this too then cause u trouble have undertstanding it cause i just spew words like textual diarrhea / but you cant say antyhing cause i get to use lacdk of english first langauge as my excsuse
He clearly applied 0 effort to making his post readable, so why should I show him any modicum of respect? I think it's pretty obvious he didn't read over his message or care at all whether or not it was going to be easily comprehensible.
What the hell? He wrote out how he felt about a subject, just as you have done, to be fair he is much more informed about the topic than you are, so who are you to disregarde his opinion just because it isn't made in the neatest format? I'm unsure why you feel the need to be disrespectful, anyone can read what Major has put, you just had the arrogance to highlight that you were unhappy with it, Major made a valid point about something he is knowledgable in and that should be enough for people to listen regardless of illegibility.
Yes you're right. Clearly there is no such thing as talent in this world
LOL
When I read that first line and saw how painful it would be to read I disregarded the rest of his post. How is that unreasonable? If you start off your "paragraph" with a point about how talent doesn't actually exist (which is probably one of the most unreasonable things he could have possibly argued here), I am going to assume that's the main point of the paragraph, such as a thesis. Otherwise I assume he would have started a new paragraph.
Unless you honestly agree that talent is nonexistent in SC2... in which case LOL
You need to develop some social skills and stop being so mean to people. If you truly want them to improve, constructive criticism is the best policy. And you talk about painful to read? This is painful to listen to.
Stop being so mean? Am I bashing desrow? Am I bashing major? I was simply saying he (major) didn't put any effort into his post and formatted it so terribly that I wasn't even willing to read the whole thing. It's nothing against his person.
It's like if someone baked you a cake but they basically just threw some sugar, flour, and butter into a pan and threw it into the oven. You wouldn't finish your piece and eat the entire thing because they put in 0 effort. However, if they put in a ton of effort to make a good cake, you'll generally finish the piece and eat it all (even if it tastes terrible) to show respect because at least that person tried their hardest.
But yes, let's post a video of a game I played back in the first week of beta when no one knew how to play this game along with sound clips that were edited in from different points in time on my stream that have nothing to do with the actual plays going on. GOOD ONE BRO!
you think you cool cause u can bash on my typing skills? yes i tried to put effort into be as understandable as possible, and i dont know why u talking about something clearly u dont undestearnd if u really believe someone is magically borns with a special talent to do X thing on their life than u keep believing that way thats really gonna get u far....
My Grammar isn't perfect either i totally understood what you were trying to say when you typed. That hard-work is what will help you excel in SC2. Yes you made a good point.
Haters gonna bash you for your grammar but that doesn't matter when you get your point across in an understandable way.
Your grammar may not be perfect but it's still understandable to read well put. Gosl(Terran),Major...
I think your argument makes sense that SC ,SC2 isn't all about Talent (or not at all about Talent) but its more about dedication and hard-work ; as long as you put in the dedicated effort you should succeed !

Lol I loved that video. Someone should make a video of the scouting colossus on desert oasis.

Slayers Boxer has zero big StarCraft 2 tournament wins. Would it not be newsworthy if he moved to America, just because of that?
Boxer has a huge background and he's pretty good. Don't ever compare again desrow with boxer man. EVER

Same amount of StarCraft 2 wins.
BoxeR finished top3 at an mlg and ro4 in a GSL while desRow best achievement is top16 in TL Open. SICK

And yet, he still hasn't won. Fantastic, isn't it? My point that wins in big starcraft 2 tournaments doesn't mean much when we consider if an event is newsworthy or not still stands no matter what you say.
Rare is the occasion that I make a post, even more so, I must express the fact that I happen to dislike DesRow and his demeanor, even more so his inability to take criticism regardless from where it might be directed. With a prior past of expressed hatred, putting that aside I happen to believe his skill is inadequate to be able to perform with the top performing Koreans meaning; Code A within the time frame of his stay is not realistically achievable. Even so, I still happen to believe most of you are incorrect and are being childish. When a person sets their mind to improve, and their resolve is stronger than the ill-willed intentions harbored by others, then that is all that is necessary to succeed. To say that his trip won't be beneficial is an utterly ridiculous statement; being a part of the main hub of SC2 excellence with some of the most potential players will polish and sharpen his skills, and anyone who happens to think that this trip will be a waste shall see how incorrect they are. Though I don't happen to think he'll win GSL anytime soon, I do commend him for pursuing what it is he wants most, and believe that this would be a stepping stone to get him in the right direction as to where he wants to go. DesRow I happen to think you're a douche but I commend you on your trip, I hope all goes well, and I believe that there will be benefit gained from this and I hope you don't let anything discourage you along the way, cheers & good luck.

not like terran is showing tournament results lately, but do you really want to make fun of the player who can 2-0 kiwikaki? this doesn't even have anything to do with the argument. i don't even like terran but don't write stuff like this it only makes you look stupid
Desrow! Good luck buddy, have some fun over there and keep going at it. There are only positive things coming! You going to Korea is in no way negative, whatever anyone says. You play against better people, you get better, simple as that. I'm not going to name names, but some people need to start understanding their place in the SC2 community. If you're a mod/player/caster/manager/etc. What you say on TL stays there and much like any other sport, if someone is known in the community then those comments, when negative, can only reflect negatively on that person.
I'm happy for Desrow going to Korea, he's a fellow canadian who's taking a big leap of faith and that deserves a positive message. I don't think he's one of the best players around right now, but I can still give the guy some love! Desrow is one of very few known French Canadian players right now.
If you are wondering why some people only have single digit posts, maybe it's because english isn't their first language but all they wanted was to wish a fellow Montreal dude some luck on his big move. Maybe it's because in their experience when they post something they automatically get flamed for the content or bashed because there's a typo. It's killing e-Sports, you are losing french canadian fans and fans of the player in general (for the known people doing it) and you are dampening the spirit of a guy who's just trying to make it in SC2.
It's okay to be critical, I encourage smart criticism, but there's a way and a place to say things and this post is not it.
