Does anyone actually have the ability to read such a garbled wall of junk text with lack of any trace of grammar whatsoever?
I mean there's grammar naziing... and then there's when something is written so terribly it's literally painful to read.
Learn some respect, especially when English isn't even his first language...grow the hell up orb.
There's a difference between not knowing a language and putting in 0 effort.
i know english/ but i cdan write like this too then cause u trouble have undertstanding it cause i just spew words like textual diarrhea / but you cant say antyhing cause i get to use lacdk of english first langauge as my excsuse
He clearly applied 0 effort to making his post readable, so why should I show him any modicum of respect? I think it's pretty obvious he didn't read over his message or care at all whether or not it was going to be easily comprehensible.
What the hell? He wrote out how he felt about a subject, just as you have done, to be fair he is much more informed about the topic than you are, so who are you to disregarde his opinion just because it isn't made in the neatest format? I'm unsure why you feel the need to be disrespectful, anyone can read what Major has put, you just had the arrogance to highlight that you were unhappy with it, Major made a valid point about something he is knowledgable in and that should be enough for people to listen regardless of illegibility.
Yes you're right. Clearly there is no such thing as talent in this world
LOL
When I read that first line and saw how painful it would be to read I disregarded the rest of his post. How is that unreasonable? If you start off your "paragraph" with a point about how talent doesn't actually exist (which is probably one of the most unreasonable things he could have possibly argued here), I am going to assume that's the main point of the paragraph, such as a thesis. Otherwise I assume he would have started a new paragraph.
Unless you honestly agree that talent is nonexistent in SC2... in which case LOL
You need to develop some social skills and stop being so mean to people. If you truly want them to improve, constructive criticism is the best policy. And you talk about painful to read? This is painful to listen to.
lol, calls someone mean and then goes ab hominem out of no where! How about discussing the arguments please!

It's like if someone baked you a cake but they basically just threw some sugar, flour, and butter into a pan and threw it into the oven. You wouldn't finish your piece and eat the entire thing because they put in 0 effort. However, if they put in a ton of effort to make a good cake, you'll generally finish the piece and eat it all (even if it tastes terrible) to show respect because at least that person tried their hardest.
But yes, let's post a video of a game I played back in the first week of beta when no one knew how to play this game along with sound clips that were edited in from different points in time on my stream that have nothing to do with the actual plays going on. GOOD ONE BRO!
you think you cool cause u can bash on my typing skills? yes i tried to put effort into be as understandable as possible, and i dont know why u talking about something clearly u dont undestearnd if u really believe someone is magically borns with a special talent to do X thing on their life than u keep believing that way thats really gonna get u far....

Why can't every one of these posts be filled with, "goodluck" or, "can't wait to see you improve".
It's fine if you don't think he's top notch, but you don't have to post it in his going to korea thread.
I'm not for player bashing but I don't think it's very good for threads to all be filled with meaningless optimism and fanboying... This is a forum, and people post opinions. Yes there will be stupid opinions, but unless it's outright insult or something crossing the line like that, you can't (and shouldn't) expect people to not post their opinions. If you wanted to see just gl, etc, better look at the respective fan webpage or teampage... It would be awesome if everyone thought every player was good and was supportive, but that is simply too idealistic and will never happen, especially in a forum where facilitation of voicing opinions, whether they be positive or negative, is important.
on topic: good luck to desrow. I don't think he'll make code A any time soon but no doubt he'll benefit a ton from the trip.
Don't really see the point of desrow going to Korea. He plays mostly high master unknown players on NA and EU and struggles to maintain 50% win against them. Going to Korea and laddering in the Gom house doesn't mean he will be playing against top Koreans and getting feedback from other pros. Will be the same as it is now, just not in his parents' basement.

Just because you have the right to say something, doesn't mean that you are right to say it.
If this thread had some constructive criticism, that's one thing. Just popping in to say:
"This is useless. He won't accomplish anything. Good luck though!"
Is ridiculous in my opinion. For one, what the heck is with the "good luck though!"? That doesn't turn a pointlessly negative comment into anything else; it just comes off as hypocritical and a bit arrogant.

That's why esports is amazing. It doesn't really matter what your natural talents are, they could very well be for gaming or rts or by some divine intervention you were born with the greatest starcraft talent known to fucking man. But it doesn't mean anything when anyone can pick up a keyboard and mouse and learn the game better than you can if he's willing to put in the work needed. Maybe you might have an easier time if your "naturally" talented, but his work ethic will get him farther than your talent ever will. You can have a never ending work ethic, no one is born with never ending talent.
Btw, NBA might not let a short guy play basketball, but that doesn't mean someone 5'5 can't put the work needed to be able to dunk, or shoot over guys 7 feet tall. Sorry if your lazy and want to rationalize why he won't make it because you think you can't.Fuck off.
I've never watched Desrows stream, seen a few show matches. But regardless I know nothing about him as a player, or person really. But if it's his dream to go to korea and be the best sc2 player in the world, he's only limited by his work ethic. NOTHING ELSE. You, and all the rest of the asshole scumbags on here who can't even give 1 ounce of respect to a fellow gamer pursuing a dream most of us hope for, is just a dick move. Period. Enjoy never getting anywhere you actually want to in life.
On another note, @orb, go fuck yourself too bro. Terran(major) is a respectable gamer, unlike you and that stupid bullshit trash you spout. Terran puts work in and is humble, that's the makings of a champion.
Keep up the hate everyone who is hating and see just how far that hate gets you. Keep making excuses and putting other people down rationalizing it as being realistic or truthful and see how far that gets you.

Talent exists. I don't even know how you can deny that, it's simply factually wrong. People have different genes and genetic make ups that make them naturally better at something than other people. That's not to say hard work isn't important - it is - but talent is too, in very many ways. Simply working the most does not make you the best player. Working hard and having a mixture of talent makes you the best.
I also have no idea why this whole subject upsets you enough that you feel the need to tell everyone to fuck off and call us haters. We're offering rational arguments as to why Desrow shouldn't go to Korea, and your response is to cuss us out, call us lazy, while not really offering any real argumentation and instead just making some flowery and idealistic statements with no real logic behind them.
Hi Desrow! I was never a fan of yours, but one day I decided to check out your stream and was quite entertained. I could really see the effort you put in to trying to remedy your BM and can also see the work you put into publicizing yourself. I wish you the best in Korea.

Of course talent exists... but to say that he shouldn't go korea when he wants to, it's his dream? Would you like it if someone told you your dream was stupid and you couldn't achieve it? If yes, your a very pitiful human being. But I don't care how you want to make yourself think that your totally fine and it's all good to say these things. I don't care to defend myself because you all are worthless beings.
Dude. Edit that post. Just do it. Don't ask questions. You have maybe five minutes.
edit: well then allow me to edit mine:
Everyone needs to calm the fizzuck down. For one, this thread has gotten WAAAAAAY off topic. Even those defending him are starting to take it away from the whole point, which is a gamer getting to go to Starcraft mecca basically. Who cares how important natural talent is? It's elementary! There is no way to prove your point!
I'm guilty too, but I'm done.
Good luck to you, Des. Hope you do really well and are able to improve. Don't worry if you don't achieve any "success". Just improving is success enough. Hope you have a great time and become even more gosu than anyone we've seen.
