Dario (LiquidTLO) posted on his twitter that he will be going to Korea next year.
Apparently he will join LiquidJinro.
I think we can expect an amazing comeback in major tournaments next year!
All the best for your time in Korea Dario!
Edit:

Edit 2: (Regarding which race Dario will be playing in Korea)
i think he said he would like for a short time be in korea sometimes so i expect him 1-3 month hardcore train and then back home that would be the best !
Good to see, hope he stays long. I really hope he doesn't switch races again T.T he lost enough time with his wrists, no need to make it worse by switching races all the time.
what does next year mean? Is there a fixed or estimated date?
I don't know. I would assume it wouldn't be for the whole year. He will probably spend a few months there but I really don't know. These are just assumptions.
Isnt this old news? He said it like 10 times in the last few month. Sheth also said he wants to go to Korea. Dunno about Ret but I think he mentioned it too

finaly... I adore TLO but he simply hasn't being playing the at the highest level since he left korea I hope he'll manage to combine his innovative style(s) of play with korean pureness of the builds
People forget how baller TLO is (in game). Ever since his wrist problems he's had trouble, but this and his relentless devotion is going to make him a star someday.
Im guessing they will be staying at the oGs team house? If so I cannot wait for the next team league if they are all in it oGsTL is going to be awesome!

it's oGs-TL too so damn that's going to be fun next year.
I would love if he would come along with Ret/Sheth and maybe even Tyler in to train as much as possible so they are all at their top level once MLG/Dreamhack etc kick off next year.

Me too. Looking forward to some awesome tournaments with TL fighters
Liquid needs to get more players back to Korea badly. Their players have fallen behind in training.
TLO actually did decent in the GSL Opens, he was the best performing Liquid player for a while until he had to leave due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Now that he's healed up, I think he could get back into Code A at least after a few months of training.
A little off topic but I really hope to see Jinro come back to his prime and own again, and to see TLO there with him also doing well. I really want for more than anything for team liquid to just pwn everything.

I like this thing where pro's across the world are making this yearly journey to the mecca of esports, and staying there to practice. Almost like an esports pilgrimage.
Thanks Everyone Really excited when it happens! Dont know exactly when yet but it is my goal for the 3-4 months to improve a lot in europe and have all my physical, mental and sc2 practice devoted to preparing for Korea.

which race will you be playing and improving in korea? just asking cause i remember you saying that you might go back to terran :D
FIIIIIIIIIIGHTING WOOOOAAARGHHH. TLO makes me irrational, there is like Stephano streaming and I say..NAH TLO is the real deal(inception OST is nowhere else dudes).
Yes! I was just thinking to myself how awesome it would be if TLO went back to Korea cos his form certainly seemed to suffer after leaving Korea / suffering cts.. Hopefully with practice in korea TLO can once again do well in tournaments just like we know he is capable of!!
epic! it is a shame he didn't stay there, he probably would have been better, but him staying in korea would have changed a lot of other things too so i guess it's hard to say what was better
Hope TLO can bump up his skill, he doesn't seem to be Code A level yet, and when I say Code A i mean stay consistently in it
Maybe he'll get good enough to finally win something, at least back in the west, and shave his beard. Because it's gonna get really uncomfortable to live with a ZZ Top beard.
On December 14 2011 06:20 friedchicken wrote: TLO winner of GSL? I feel it coming!!! I mean how could anybody compete with that beard?
TLO is the chuck norris of the SC2 with that beard .
Happy for your decision TLO, go prove that you are one of the best, you are maybe the most creative player from all the pros.. also great personality as far as i can tell from streams + castings..
can't wait to see TLO on form again, hes one of the most creative and inventive players, time in Korea playing with the best is really gonna help him improve

I am looking forward to some innovative stuff man. It's gonna be amazing to watch I think.
I think he's just sick of the beard now, so he needs to speed up the whole major tounrament win thing :D Awesome news, I'm pretty sure jinro will benefit from this too, having more people who speak the same language and all :D
Is he going to stay in the OGS house, cause last time he said the reason he left was due to privacy concerns, sharing bathrooms with a ton of dudes, etc? None of those things have changed since he left, so is it something he is just going to deal with this time?
Unfortunately I think he is way past his prime. Innovative players like TLO tend to do quite well when the game is new or in flux but tend to fade away when the game settles down. Mechanically he is just not close to the GSL players and I don't know if he can fix that anytime soon. Best thing for him to happen I think is HOTS coming out real soon.

well innovative koreans like MKP or Boxer are still pretty good . gl TLO for his next trip to korea but come back to terran!
Excellent. If TLO's creativity were combined with say, MVP's mechanics, it would create such a hard player to defeat, even moreso if they played random, making sniping impossible. Hopefully TLO can become a player like that.
TLO is such a standup nice guy, I really root for him to do well. I'm glad he understands the necessicity to train amongst the highest calibre of players in Korea. Hopefully he can stick it out for the long haul and become a code S player =D

He won't play random. He says protoss doesn't suit his playstyle

I thought it was is carpal tunnel syndrome? I'm pretty sure it was at its worst around the time he left.

Completly wrong. mechanicswise TLO is pretty good. (one of the best nonkoreans imo)
Great news! I remember some entertaining matches with nukes... I hope TLO will be able to qualify again for Code S and show some great SC2 made in Gernany.
His play is really interesting and he deserves a chance to showcase it in the biggest tournament.
However, I don't want to be a party pooper over here but if GOM gives him a code S spot/up&down spot just cause hes in korea, that will really be shitting on many other equally/more deserving players. Please take the Jinro route.

I don't think I would even accept a spot at this point, I would just get crushed and take someones spot. Its unlikely they will do that in the first place, so my path shall be at Jinros side.

Together we shall rise.
But the question remains... Which race is going to be nerfed half a year from now?

On one of his recent streams he said something along the lines of the play of SC2 currently is rigid and unsophisticated. He went on to say he had so many ideas on how the game should be player. That got me really excited so see him have that kind of mindset. Now he can hammer out all those new ideas and get SC2 to another level!

Will you stick with Zerg in Korea?
no sign of not doing that so far but I dont comment on race switches anymore I am too unrealiable :D

I remember Husky casting a game of you vs Brat_OK on Steppes of War i think; and it was just like siege tank line vs siege tank line split maps and some nukes i think; that was my first encounter with you and it's been awesome ever since!
I look forward to seeing you rip it up in Korea! TLO FIGHTING!
I think he has been slacking in terms of general practice, especially his condition sort of handicapped him for a while, and lost a lot of practice. Him training in this environment will allow him to regain his regular practice and routine. His play is already so entertaining and creative, i can't wait to see what else he invents.

But seriously, go in prepared, take the same seriousness (and in some cases lack thereof) you've brought with you before to this and I'm confident you'll make waves.
Jinro's determination has always been a huge inspiration to me, and your play style and intelligence is truly fantastic. Along with Zenio and Hero, and the other fine competitors and friends you have over there, you and the rest of TL are going to do phenomenally. I think this is going to be a great year for TL, and hope you all make the best of it.

I kind of have the feeling that 2012 will be the year of TL. Can think of worse things

only progamer I recall with facial hair is sync.
As an ethnic asian... let me tell you, we have facial hair, but it looks MAD UGLY on asians, so we have to constantly shave. Or at least I do... I know some asians who don't shave, and MAN do they look bad.
Koreans are exceptionally careful about their physical appearance, so I'm positive they all shave like crazy.
Good luck in Korea TLO and Jinro. Hopefully you guys will stay there for several months - as I don't see you two ripping apart the korean scene with your recent results.
This is so awesome, have been watching his stream everyday on vacation and he inspired me to switch from Protoss to Zerg. Very excited for when he goes to Korea because I think he is taking a direction that most players are not at the moment in terms of his play style and it'll be really interesting to see how it meshes with the Korean style of play.
