Hello, this is Jun (I have already requested the name change from CryingPoo, Jun is my first name).
Some of you may remember me from yesterday as I translated something totally misleading and deceiving yesterday. I would like to apologize once again. I have written a blog (Here) to express my sincerity apology to TL moderators and all other members. Please consider this as my sincere apology or at least know that my intention was not to bring any harm to the communities.
SlayerS_Jessica : I am actually the final boss of the game and BoxeR is like the last gate to open so I try not to appear much as the final boss. But I have a secret relationship with DRG so I finally appeared. BoxeR told me when he started forming a team that he wanted to have two players. DRG and MMA. In fact, DRG was in SlayerS even before the team MVP was formed. But DRG said the team house training is too tough and ran away from the house! Genius ran away with him! But they are practising well in MVP..!?
SlayerS_Jessica : If DRG loses the finals, I will never make fun of him for running away during the team practice and forgive him because that would be pitiful!! But if DRG wins I will be posting a very amusing photo of him on the Internet. It's a photo of BoxeR and DRG at MLG stadium.
DRG : If I have to make an excuses, I was only offered a try-out which they have begged me to try. I left the team because SlayerS didn't practice as much as I thought.
SlayerS_Jessica : DRG is the only player who turned BoxeR down when he offered a position. He said he needed to study but then he was in MVP!
Yoon-Sang Choi (MVP Coach) : It took me 3 months to persuade him to join. He wanted to study more than playing a game so I kept telling him let's just do it together for only one year. I poached him by saying that if he doesn't get a success I will give him private tutors to send him off to university. Apparently all the teams saw a genius side of DRG and ran over to him to bring him.
Hyun-Joo Lee (Host) : DRG just looks like a genius.
DRG : That was a compliment, right?
◆ Why MMA Is Strong Against MVP !!
MMA : Because the team members studied him together.
◆ Promise To MVP !!
MMA : I feel sorry to MVP I know I am trying to win for the team but also am for MVP
◆ Who Is Similar To Leenock !!
MMA : I think Leenock
SlayerS_Jessica : If you ever think that I am the best Zerg. Call me right away! "Help me practise!"
◆ Who Is Similar To MMA And The Practice Plan !!
DRG : Good terrans like MVP and Jjakji would be helpful.
◆ The First Impression Of Each Other !!
DRG : Special League tournament finals and the Super Tournament Finals happened on the same day, same time and the same venue. I thought we were going win the finals together on the same stage but only I won and... MMA got pitifully crushed by Polt. I was disappointed.
SlayerS_Jessica : Hey ! MMA had a fever that he was 45 degrees hot!
MMA : Before when DRG was in the finals with sC, I heard rumours that DRG is a good player. Now sC and DRG are in the same team and they can practise against each other who are both good players.
◆ Greed For Prize Money !!
DRG : Earning the most is the most important factor to me because I am a pro. I have got a bit of prize money in overseas but the high tax rate (30%) was disappointing. But the tax rate on GSL is low (4.3%) so I feel very greedy to win. It's very good.
MMA : As a pro gamer, prize money is important but moreover the fame of having championship is important.
◆ Initial Predictions For The Finals !!
DRG : I thought Nestea and MC were going into the finals. And MC would win the whole tournament.
MMA : I picked DRG and MVP for the finalist but picked DRG for the winner.
DRG : You are so superficial from the beginning to the end. Please answer questions honestly!
◆ The Best Commentators !!
MMA : Engine and Gisado are really good. They catch many things during the game that sometimes even progamers miss out. Progamers also learn alot from them.
DRG : Engine and Gisado are the best.
Hyun-Joo : Are you saying that other commentators are bad?
MMA : No way! Manager CHAE is the best for providing entertainments!
DRG : No! No comment
◆ IU & David Kim !!
MMA : DK asked me how Terran is before - I asked him to buff Terrans because SlayerS team members say that Terran is bad but he nuffed it. I think he was planning to nuff but then asked anyway.
DRG : Not interested in IU. But having discussions about balance issues with DK won't change anything so I will go up to cry and whine about them.
◆ Feeling For The Finals !!
DRG : This is my first finals for a regular GSL. Good players gathering at the end of the year to sort out the best is very meaningful.
MMA : I felt very sorry to MVP after winning against him. I couldn't sleep. I think I have to try hard because my opponent is DRG.
◆ How MVP Coach Feels About The Finals !!
Yoon-Sang : I have heard people saying that we are only strong in team leagues but weak in the individual tournament. I felt sad when people said that. Now since DRG is in the finals, people may not say that any more.
◆ Dangerous Moments in Blizzup !!
DRG : Every games with MC was a dangerous moment for me. Even in the group qualifiers, I would advance to the semi-finals. if I won but disqualify if I lost. The maps were hard in the semi-finals which was hard for me but I am relieved that I won.
MMA : When I was playing against MVP in the last set, I was shaking when my Marauders and Marines started marching.
◆ Chose Strategies Already !?
DRG : I am definitely going to early rush.
Jessica : Stop play mind games! Although MMA wouldn't care for your words.
MMA : I will finish all games in the first ten minutes.
◆ Feelings After Seeing The Map Pool !!
MMA : I am expecting 4:3. Calm Before the storm is excluded too. Map pools are hard for Terran in the beginning of the series.
DRG : The first set would be the most important in the series. I am expecting 4:0 if I take him down in the first set but if MMA takes the first set I am expecting the full series to the last set.
◆ Strong & Weak Points !!
DRG : MMA is good at preparing strategies and do not care about opponent's strategies which could be an advantage but a disadvantage too.
MMA : DRG's unit management is superb with good mechanics. I think he is the top Zerg player. I don't see apparent weak points.
◆ Coaches' Objective Predictions !!
Yoon-Sang : If the scenario flows our way it will be either 4:0 or 4:1 but if gets twisted I will go to the last set. MMA doesn't have weaknesses but SlayerS team has. So called "Build Crafting Old Men" - they bring the perfect builds in each series but if a particular build does not work, players tend to break down on themselves. We are actually rushing in the early games. If MVP is a hard pencil MMA is a sharp pencil, "Crafting" with that pencil more and it shall break.
Jessica : I personally like Yoon-Sang coach. He is warm hearted but my style is cold and harsh. [T/N : Use of historical figure from Chinese characters in the original interview so I changed them to fit the characters]. We are not a pencil. We are an oasis that never dries. Set score is not important. I am expecting the best matches between the two kings who made through beating other kings. Who wins or loses does not matter. I am waiting for the matches that could make my hands sweat. My wish is to have a classic game in every set.
◆ Final Determination !!
DRG : Blizzcup is the tournament of the king of the Kings. I shall win and be remembered as the best player.
MMA : Thinking about the finals right now makes my heart burst. I will feel fantastic tomorrow on the stage. I will win for SlayerS and for BoxeR !

Thank you - I just re-wrote that top paragraph for people who may have missed it. : ) enjoy!

Thanks for this man
No no no.. The whole bounty hunter thing is wrong. It started with my translation from a BAD source. Noone in GSL said anything about a bounty hunter. I am sorry for the confusion.

I'm not sure if I understand but it's hilarious in an epic way ^^
Wow, I had no idea DRG had a history with SlayerS, makes the GSTL May finals even more legendary. The fact that Boxer found both of them so far before either had any results is amazing. Any team with Boxer is always going to dominate.
Yea seriously... DRG on Slayers would just be the equivalent on Team 8, with even more depth... In a bo11 match up...with DRG, they'd have 2-3 Aces, and send out nothing but Code S and Up/down players at you... I dont think a single team would be able to take a series from them at full strength unless it was like IM...and even then, you're banking on NesTea/MVP taking down a bunch before going down (at all)
Someone should tell DRG that, because he is not an american citizen, he can get a that 30% tax on his American winnings refunded 100% if he fills out some forms and sends them to the IRS. (Assuming that that is the same tax that is applied to casino/gambling winnings, which i think it is because the numbers match up)

i am pretty sure it is a korean tax, not american.

Well he says overseas winnings, not Korean. and then he says that the Korean tax on winnings is only 4.3%. The only country that I know of that applies a 30% tax to all Prize money/Gambling Earnings/etc. automatically regardless of Citizenship is the USA. So that is a pretty fair assumption to make IMO. What makes you think it is a Korean tax?

I remember an issue where game winnings used to be classified as gambling/etc so people were really concerned about korean league prize money when that rate was raised (i guess to 30%), but then the leagues got a special exception so it was 4.3% - and gsl has the same exception, evidently. i could be wrong though.
interesting read. off topic i know but korean IRS can take a bit more tax than 4.3% from tournament winnings. that is ridiculously low. on topic: MMA got this with ease kind of topic: I <3 IU
