Funny how that works. By the sounds of it you seem to like EG quite a bit. Funny how logic works. Personally I can't wait to see IdrA perform in Code S even if he gets smashed. He's my favorite player by far but it's so sad to see him lose to simple mistakes time and time again. One of these days Grack, one of these days. Love EG. By the sounds of it, you seem not to understand that a team is not only the sum of the players.
There are certainly reasons one might like the players on EG, but not the team itself.

@Firepaw - It's pointless and going nowhere. Why don't you throw names in a hat and start picking at them randomly? That will have the same result as this thread. We'll find out in two days.
Whats the use of a forum if its not to discuss things? Sure there is no way for us to know, but that doesnt stop people from having a good time trying to figure out. There is no need for you to read this thread if you dont like the hype.

It's unfortunate but i'm loyal to players i like and stick by them even in tough times.
The thing about this announcement which kinda gets me is the 'not from round here' line. If it was another Korean, well that line loses its significance since they already got Puma and Liquid already got HerO. It's like... signing a Korean just isn't special anymore (in that, there's nothing special about it just because they're Korean) and the not from round here kinda gives the impression of something significant. This would make Moon more likely in my mind due to WC3.
I know i'm reading into this too much. It was just a tweet afterall. Leaning toward Moon & moonglade still.

You're reading too much into it, if it was a big name like moon or a BW pro they would have one of those silly splash websites and would be tweeting every 5 minutes for a week straight about it.
I love Eg, I'm a big fan of them, but when they did that for huk and the EG partner thing I wanted to find whoever thought it was a good idea and smack some sense into them.

I hope it's not moon. I hate EG and I'd hate to see moon play for them.

Yeah that's why my very first impression was Moonglade since he's a lesser name to me and he's from AUSTRALIA which isn't from around here.
I think i've let myself get convinced that it's Moon. Dammit internet.

My money is on Sen. EG in partnership with his non-conflicting asian sponsors to capitalize on the upcoming Taiwanese dominance of back to back seasons of GSL code-s!!!
Hey a guy can hope right?

Haha, well Moon is basically a teamless beast waiting to be unleashed. The question is when will this happen :p, it's fun to see people think about him as the potential EG addition though.

Sen is the last person I was expecting, below MvP. Because Sen left fnatic because he wanted to join a Taiwanese team so that he could be on a team with his country men, I don't think he would leave his team if that's what he wants.

My bet is on a Korean. Liquid gets a Korean - EG gets a Korean..Liquid gets two, EG needs two.

It probably is a korean, but I really hope this isn't what the whole "TL-EG rivalry" turns into. I'm a big fan of both teams, but it's quite obvious that EG is the richer team, and in the end if they are in a "one upping each other in number of korean players" game EG will win because they have the bigger pockets.

lmfao, awesome logic bro
I feel horrible when people jump to conclusions out of just two data points and then call it a straight line, and you did it with just one hahaha

PuMa was recruited before HerO (at least publicly). So your "analysis" should be flipped.
