Are you saying the foreigners need to put in some more EffOrt to look more attractive? Honestly, HuK seems to be iNcontroL of the way he looks, I mean just look at the way he has ZerO fat. IdrA, after all, is Curious about working out. He goes to the gym and works out, but he is out in a Flash. I hear he is learning some MMA in order to be more fit.

I think it can only be good for eSports if pro gamers actually start taking care of how they look, IdrA changed a lot over the years cuz he used to look terrible (now he only needs to get lasik and he's pretty much set)
generally though when you get yourself a girlfriend (or start looking for one) you start to care a bit more about how you dress/look compared to virgins playing games 24/7 who see absolutely no reason to even give any thought about that
The SC2 community isn't that bad though since most of the pros are well over 20 yrs old

Who cares how the male gamers look or how Korea views the foreign players?
We need some cheerleaders for players and at events. Expos have booth babes, I think it's time SC2 has them as well. A tiny black and red cheerleader uniform with the zerg symbol on the top. Dark blue/light blue for terran and yellow/white for protoss.

On December 30 2011 09:44 Dapper_Cad wrote:+ Show Spoiler +So here's the deal. You'd like to think you are a suave, complicated, disconnected brain in a box. Turns out you aren't. You're a hairless ape, an evolutionary sneeze away from rolling around in your own faeces and eating the neighbours children. If you are vaguely normal then sex and status hold the keys to your soul. Look at this awesome specimen All alpha male. All. Day. Long. You look because he broadcasts confidence, he's his own monkey, shuffle a couple chromosomes and you're either trying to sleep with him or be him. It can't be so simple though can it? Turn on your television, turn the sound down and wait for an ad break. It is that fucking simple. The ways in which we are unique as a species are subtle and extraordinarily difficult to properly define. The ways in which we are the same as animals are obvious and very easy to understandOlwell expects brand A to be the capuchins' favoured product. "Monkeys have been shown in previous studies to really love photographs of alpha males and shots of genitals, and we think this will drive their purchasing habits." We can wish it were different, we can curse the universe for it's sick sense of humour, but it changes nothing. You want to change the world? You want to put starcraft 2 on ESPN? Start by seeing the world as it is, not how you wish it was. You put people who look and sound like alphas in front of a camera and your audience goes up. A $40 hair cut is not the same as a once over with a pair of clippers. It would be healthy for the sport if teams or event managers had small grooming budgets. It won't dumb down the game if players spend an extra 5 minutes thinking about what will wear at the LAN the next day. And who cares if some nettard calls you a homo when you post to say that at event X player Y looked like a boss nerd. Of course this is no silver bullet to breaking the esports sound barrier, but if you think it's irrelevant you have your head in the sand. The great thing is we have a whole new and interesting angle on what it means to be a sex symbol ready to rock and roll from the get go. Sure you can take raw animal magnetism and dress it up And it helps, we knew he was a boss, now we know he's got cash and taste. But what else can we know about this dapper fellow? Well now we know he's got the body, the money AND he's smarter than a box of rocks, which is more than can be said for a lot of sportsmen and women. Think on it .
This isn't reddit, I feel like these monkey pics aren't allowed.

Do you think i could get a progamer to work out every day remotely unless he was self motivated to do it himself? I think the ultimate solution is for all pro teams to move to one area but i haven't put enough thought into how realistic that idea is. The real question is why aren't you number 1 on studcraft? I ask the same question every day. Studcraft is racist against non-players. Well the casters are on that list. Why not well known, and core community members as well?
