I dunno... he's not that bad. Gotta say, NaDa not number 1 has gotta be the bigger joke.

It is obvious that this is true (we NEED to help the image of a programer in the west) however the main question is how the heck do we improve it??

No one insults the God of War on my watch!
On a serious note though, maybe we should not focus on the sex appeal too much. We definitely do not want our progamers to become sexual objects rather than cyber-athletes, which is very likely to happen since there are many foreigner progamers who are not particularly successful in tournaments but act more as community figures.

foreigners need to copy hyung joon! :D

Korean teams don't just work out to look better, it helps with their game. Also where is Strelok on that Studcraft list?

Wear a bit of cosmetics (reasonable amount for their gender) get good skin care wear good clothes. (Well designed team uniform) T-shirts are good, but I think something more of a polo style with a jacket would work too.( yes I love formula jackets.) have good posture. And well styled hair.

Honestly, all you need to do is look well-maintained. There are a ton of Korean pros who really aren't that handsome but manage to pull off a good image, because they just maintain themselves well. The only SC2 progamer in the Korean scene who I'd consider legitimately "handsome" (as in movie-star handsome) would probably be Boxer back when he was younger.
Some players just have unfortunate images set up for themselves on that website, lol. Like, all of dignitas minus SeleCT. (Who I guess is pretty close to movie-star handsome. I can't tell if that might just be my bias speaking though; he really does have a nice voice.)

lol, so many people here are stuck in some kind of weird US-media-created fantasy world where you gotta be super jacked to be hot.
Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom? Robert Pattinson? Almost any rock star? Fuck, even Justin Bieber. They ignore evidence even in their own culture, lol.
