TSL announced plans to expand and move their practice house on 3/23. They will also be joined by an "excellent Terran player" at that time.(thanks milkis for mini-translation)
On February 21 2012 10:42 nokz88 wrote: There are not much relevant information on the article to make a complete translation worthwhile. Main points:
1. TSL was in a dire need for a Protoss player after JYP left the team 2. Inori went to primary and high school together with Polt, so that should have had a significant influence on the decision 3. TSL will be moving to a bigger team house located in Kimpo on March 23rd, and plans to hire a new Terran player around this time.
Wow, sweet. There has not been a lot of people on western teams that move back to korean teams, its mostly been the inverse. Cool to see, even if he was korean anyhow.
Would love a translation =) Otherwise big congrats to Inori. I felt really bad for Inori knowing he left FXO to join RGN so I'm glad he was able to follow another team. Good luck to him!
Cool, cool. Can someone translate the article? Chrome translation is pretty bad. Also they're signing some Terran player soon, maybe another ex-BW player?

They still have HyuN, Symbol, RevivaL, Polt, Cyrano, and a couple more players that are less notable. They were never really that dead, although they would be INCREDIBLE if none of the players that left, left. I mean they'd have alive, clide, puma, rain, jyp, killer, and guineapig to add O.O

I think if they had this team they would be the favorite to win the GSTL. Such a sick line-up.
TSL starting to look good good again. It'd be hilarious if this new terran player turned out to be Major or Terran or whatever his name is now TT. But it'll probably be Artist.
You could say that it is a *sunglasses* TSL-Revival... yeah.
Seriously though, I hope the turbulence is over and both management and players can make progress as a team. At least for the time being it feels like we can't afford to lose such a prominent Korean SC2-team.

Next GSTL TSL team, next GSTL...
why oh why MajOr or WinDy or Tiffany or Terran or Kitty or more? doesn't he switch teams frequently? I want TSL.Dragon or TSL.Artist
Strange that they would wait to announce Artist if it is Artist. I hope it is Artist though. The last time TSL took on a former fOu player, they produced aLive. Not to mention for all the drama and craziness behind TSL and Coach Lee, he has really done a fine job developing talent: JYP, PuMa, aLive, Rain, and RevivaL (last 2 not as much).

He's been on x6 for half a year now. Wouldnt be suprised if it was Artist, but something make me think it will be one of these BW players FXOBoSs was talking about.

I bet Artosis is lobbing for Major so hard right now
lol
I doubt CheckSix would let go of WinDy that easily. Then again, he's been practicing at the TSL house for ages. I'm actually shocked that Coach Lee didn't respond with "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY" as soon as MajOr arrived.

GL to TSL!
oh my gaws TSL.Flash?
Nah, not expecting it to be some superfamous guy, rather some semi-tier player from Hwaseung, WeMade or MBC.

I'm probably getting trolled right now, but hell there's a slight chance you havent heard. ReIGN just disbanded some days ago, all their players are free agents now.

Cut him a break... he's been living under a sea... XD
While Artist wouldn't be a bad addition, I really hope the Terran is someone we're unfamiliar with. Afterall, there's an ocean of talent in Korea that's yet to shine on the SC2 stage~
The TSL coach seems like a dictator. 90% of the TSL players left, because they don't liked were TSL was going. Polt should look for a new team, since he is in TSL his results are going DOWN badly -_-
Good to hear that Inori has quickly been picked up by another team (thanks to Polt). And I guess it was just a matter of time until TSL would restock its ranks. Good luck to all parties involved, also with the new practice house (co-op coming?). Artist will likely be the terran to follow, as he's moved back to Korea.

I don't think Inori's pvp is "beastly" anymore. It's outdated. He had the balls to expand when nobody else did. Now everyone had the balls to expand, heh.
Ugh, I realize the caption under the picture in the thisisgame article lists the photo credit as TSL. T_T I never gave TSL the rights to that photo, in fact it looks like it was just ripped off Facebook. I don't mind them using the photo, but I'd like to receive proper credit. Anyone know who I can contact at thisisgame to get this sorted out? Sorry for interrupting the thread v_v
That is the worst picture iv ever seen rofl. I have no idea what he looks like from that picture haha. Good player, im glad that the reign guys are finding new homes
I mean, he looks all badass and everything but you cant see his face at all!

1) you are calling it outdated, when saying that everyone adopts his style currently?? 2) he has been doing it for longer than they have, so he will be better at that style.
On February 21 2012 22:50 MrMercuG wrote: Ehm, Inori and his beast PvP is at a stellar 20% win-rate in Korea...............
ehm, he's played a grand total of one PvP in Korea since October, so I don't really think that stat is at all relevant. I'm not saying his PvP is elite. But that statistic is extremely misleading.
Does anyone else wonder if there is something up with TSL's coach and team house environment? Just think of how many players have left this team. TSL would be the last team I'd want to join based on their history. But I do love Inori and wish him good luck.

Exactly, he became known by showing everyone that the "you expand, you die" saying in PvP didn't have to be true at all. Call me biased (because I completely love Inori to death) but I feel like he revolutionized PvP; notice it's not as BORING to watch anymore...
Yes yes I know saying he "revolutionized" PvP is extreme but again, I'm biased, and I tend to exaggerate. Meh. Well I'm glad he found a home; I'm very happy for him~ Good luck Inori, you're totally awesome!!
The only other notable Terran player that I can think of at the moment who is teamless is Lastshadow but I highly doubt its him. It'll be interesting if Coach Lee can find a diamond in the enormous rough of Korean Terrans.
On February 22 2012 02:07 SeaSwift wrote: I wonder who this Terran player is. Can't think of a teamless one off hand.
I'm guessing former BW gosu In_Dove. Although can't say Hyun has worked out too hot for them.
I thought In_Dove was a B-teamer? I mean, as well as some of the B-teamers have done, they were ones who switched over a long time ago. All the recent switchovers have been underwhelming, to say the least.
Great news to hear, they should get Artist too, since he's super gosu ^^
EDIT: I'm assuming that that is who the "excellent Terran player is." I hope that Artist can get better. Right now I think that other than his TvZ, neither he nor Inori are really ready to compete in Korea, but Artist definitely has potential.

Yeah, he was about the level of Zergbong/Nestea in BW. I mean, he was really good, but couldn't compete at the highest level on a consistent basis. I had some really amazing replays of him and he was quite good, as was Zergbong. I'm curious how long he has been playing SC2.

He is an ex BW coach, if anyone is sticking around, it's gonna be TSL.

My thoughts exactly. TSL is still pretty much a dead man.
To say that the people shitting on coach Lee "don't know the half of it" would be damn near the biggest understatement I've ever made on the subject.
Then again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and the only reason my opinions are right is BECAUSE your opinions are wrong, life is graded on a scale. So thanks for being wrong someone has to

They've been doing pretty good in non-gsl team leagues, like IPL and KSL, 5:0 reign and 6:2 IM. Avenge is doing pretty well in Code A, I guess you could say their players are making a bit of a come back.
Best of luck to Inori. I don't know much about him, but saw a sick PvP series between him and HerO inside that beloved Liquid'HerO replay pack. TSL has probably made a good decision by signing Inori. Hopefully with this they can regain some strength.
