Let's take a look at other NA talents that didn't get invited.. over him.

looks awesome.. tough group for ostojiy.. best of luck.

One more day! Aw yea very excited for it to begin!

Never was much of a LS fan but right now I'm hoping he tears it up just to silence the unnecessary bs he's getting.
This is his chance to prove himself and back his shit up. Let's see what happens.

wishing someone luck or failure has no result on the outcome, so why does it matter? if someone doesn't like lastshadow, or that he was invited to the tournament, why wouldn't they want him to lose?
I can root for and against people at the same time. trust me, it's possible

So many people in this thread are so fucking dumb just writing shit and hating on someone because they accepted an invite to a tournament. Take that shit with the one in charge, not the player.

i for one could care less if player x gets invited over player y in a tournament, a good player will always find a way to showcase his skill regardless of what tournament he gets invited to, if its not this tournament it'll be the next one. im actually excited to see some new blood within the competitive scene, makes it much more exciting and im sure everyone is curious to see how well they stake up against high level players
edit: oh yea and my picks are:
GanZi Illusion Stephano < Violet <
Group 2 Sheth Taeja < Thorzain SaSe <
Group 3 Bomber Ostojiy HuK < MC <
Group 4 Ret < LastShadow PartinG Squirtle <
with ret winning it all unless he runs into stephano Ret over PartinG is kinda interesting. Do you think it has got something to do with players' psychology? eg Socke always does well at MLG's and Ret has already won a Red Bull event? ret is actually just really fucking good and his zvp is insane, the only way i can see him losing is if he gets caught off guard with something cheesy and thats not likely to happen in a zvp, i expect him to go 3-0 in his group and he already beat parting once before at the other redbull tournament.. dont forget this is the guy who crushed mvp in macro games at mlg spring arena 1, hes not out of his league one bit
As a pro Protoss player, how can you pick against Squirtle? He has the best zvp by a country mile. Stephano never beat him on ladder when he was in Korea and Squirtle has gotten better since then. Ret's zvp is very good but if we were betting I'd say he's at least a 5-1 underdog in a bo3 against Squirtle.

Your skull must be thicker than your waist line Desrow. None of the players you listed would have made a splash when the announcement was made (except Scarlett), and that was the entire reason Day9 chose LS in the first place. There are "better" players in terms of results on that list, but that is not the reason why LS was invited.

rofl
Day9 invited lastshadow because they are friends not because Day9 knew and wanted people to get upset and debate his pick.. Day9 doesn't need this shit to get his tournament hyped.. How dare you say my skull is thicker than my waist line seems like you have no knowledge of what have been said on the topic so far on talkshows + this thread..

The reason he was invited is because he's Day9's good friend. That's the only reason, and plenty of other american players deserve it way more than LastShadow.

Ok, when i decide to run a tournament, maybe i'll decide who to invite. But until then i think i will let the organisers invite whoever they damn well want to.

Everyone can keep repeating this but it doesn't change the fact that you and the rest of the people posting about LS have done exactly what Day9 said he wanted to do, which was create a storyline.

Insulting every single person who disagrees with the choice of last shadow only makes you look like more of an asshole, and less of us agreeing with why he was invited. Starting off every post with a "you are retarded" line isnt exactly going to make anyone change their mind.
