Worth to note is that he stopped playing the account after KR asked if it was Flash playing.
|
Well the thing that is quite stupid from him or his coach or whatever guy who creates this account is to make a "code bar" to be anonymous but with only 7 bars while all other accounts have 12. Good way to keep is identity secret -_-

What are some difficulties for you? I think there's a problem with the balance. Protoss is overpowered so I hope they balance it out. Once the upcoming patch comes into effect I'm worried that Zerg might become OP as well. I'm worried because they're on a downward trend.(about terran)
Ha ha i love him already, Good to finally see a terran bash the other 2 races instead of the other way around He say he only master level, so everyone claiming bw pros would completely crush sc2 where wrong, he only masters so far. He doing well though it seems and no doubt he will make it to the top, realy like his personality from what i have seen. Hope he becomes the terran king
Maybe blizzard intended that some races have a verry small advantage over other races. They said they didnt mind imbalance as long as it was still playable for the weaker side because it creates more interesting games.I always seen it a bit like:
Protos>terran>zerg>protos high quality, low quantity >middle way>high quantity, low quality >high quality, low quantity wich also would dictate wich group of units each race should use. you have the tech units (quality units) and the mass units (quantity units) Protos quality>terran quality, terran quantity is not big enough to beat protoss quality but is definatly the best change. Terran quality>zerg quality, terran can rely on its qualitative gbetter units, zerg has to make use of its bigger quantity to have a change but the difference is not big enough so terran >zerg Toss quality>zerg quality, zerg has to go for his quantity units and here the difference in quantity is so large that it makes zerg favoured. protoss should go his quantity units to have a change even though this makes zerg favourd, as zergs quantity>protoss quantity. Well this probably a weird way to see it and /or completely wrong lol ,but kinda like thinking about it and this is a bit how i see it in an abstract way.

What a down-to-earth dude. He seems very honest to me and I value that in a progamer.

It's definitely a flawed opinion because he wants to defend his race and get buffs for his race. It kind of makes me annoyed for him to say that, especially because SC2 T is winning at the highest level, and especially because BW T was so OP but no one complained about it to his face and say "Flash, you're amazing but the only reason you are called God is because you play the OP race"
maybe because T wasn't overpowered in BW? majority of people who actually played BW would tell you the same. PvT was an uphill battle for T in BW. the thing about P in BW was they consistently killed each other off in leagues by placing themselves in the same groups, leaving a small pool left to fend off the T's and Z's. edit- a slight tangent but BW is also much more map dependent than SC2's current state in regards to matchups and map rotations dictated some of the later seasons. edit2- also you apparently haven't watched the vods of flash's offraces. his zerg was pretty impressive.
That's your opinion. A lot of other people who have been watching the BW pro-scene for almost a decade (including me) seems to think otherwise. Even many old BW progamers have given interviews that expressed this.
The thing is, I do believe in the circular balance. But at the highest level, the P>T is actually somewhat reversed. If you look at pure raw statistics for all pro BW games, PvT was the closest to 50% compared to ZvP and TvZ.

Protoss fan boys cant use their "stfu about balance bronze dude" on Flash so guess it will be "He's not good in sc2 yet, so what does he know" instead.... am i RIGHT? Riiight?

If Flash ask for a Buff, he is not the God anymore.

am i the only one who gets an error when i open the source link?

ohoh I believed the interview was true, haha.
Funny, very funny.

my parents haven't paid a single dime for me to come to korea. They gave me a pair of boxers and socks before I left.. everything was paid by myself from coaching/streaming revenue. Please do not spread bullshit. Thanks ^_ ^

To those who are extremely confident on imbalance of any matchup: there wont be balance, ever. Asymetric balance is different. Always. As long as u have almost equal chance to win - 40 to 60% - game is balanced. Get over it.

As I said:

... which doesn't mean he is noob/scrub/etc. What I mean is he hasn't played *much* a.k.a not enough experience with just 400-500 games. Besides, there is a possibility he isn't serious about protoss OP.
Aren't you pretending as well? I could be pretending as well or I might not be. It's true that I'm lacking in skills at the moment though.
It might be he just lacks those skills that are useful against Protoss. Who knows.

bit harsh shitting on desrow.. , but anyway in his league is jinro and huk, and he is ahead of jinro and has a better ratio , whats your excuse for that?

It's rank 5 masters now :o

I remember an interview with nestea when he was "the god of sc2". He said that zerg is underpowered. If you look in the blizzard terran forums you can read the toos/zerg is op, in the toss forum are zerg/terra op.
I can see a pattern. After all: Even Flash is a human and sc2 seems to be well balanced.

I want to hear his opinion on balance, as well as other pro players. What I don't want to hear is the random diamond/master league player who doesn't know what he is talking about.

this exactly ^^ flash probably had no idea there were already tensions about the p/t balance in particular, and had no idea he was feeding into the madhouse that is the sc2 community. It's kind of a shame because everything else in the article has now been forgotten or ignored!

Flash's tshirt is god damn awesome. I wonder how long it will take for him to be on the same level as the current sc2 stars.
