My general idea about favorites in this would be : 1- IM yeah they never performed in team leagues, but thats just bad luck, apart from the bad strategy part, talent is talent, Nestea/MVP all kill is never far, plus MC added to the mix, thats scary) 2- Between Prime and Liquid : its not fanboyism, but frankly Taeja, Hero, Ret (he can pull out code S games clearly), Zenio, Sheth (dont know if they're going to be in Korea tho :s, so my statement is about the team in general, if Ret & Sheth arent there then yeah it kinda sucks) and even TLO with this weird styles of his could perform really well, although it seems like there is a "randomish" factor to TL, guys like Sheth Ret or even Hero can either perform like living gods, or sometimes look a little weak 3- I'd say equal between EG and MVP and Startale, and yeah, I know, NSH performed well, but except if they got like some super crazy good underdogs never seen in Code A, Jjajki Seal Sage, I wouldnt see them own like they did before, but since it's korea, there is always some freaking 15 years old kid coming out of nowhere roasting 3 Code S players with some weird builds, so who knows :D Still, its amazing that EG and Slayers can get to that level where it's realistic to see them win, both teams having kind of a bad time on a performing level (for most of their rosters at least), they could pull out some upsets big time and thats guuud It's sure as fuck is going to be the best team league ever hosted, I'm kinda "tired" of casted games (not tired but watched too much starcraft to be honest), and this is going to make me yell in front of my screen for hours, they MUST keep those leagues up, the elimination format makes it sooooo much entertaining, I dont know about other viewers, but to me it's like 3 times better without exagerating, watching replays from 1v1 that have been played "normally" just like ladder games, compared to a "Nestea, you're up, we count on you man, DONT FUCK THIS UP, you must kill 3 of them or we're in deep shit!", aaah, so many possibilities, and we get to see a real role for the coaches / captain, strategical, sniping, it's just wonderful to watch, I'm surprised I didnt see more "elimination format team league enthusiastic threads" or things like that. Thats the shit we could see someday on TV imho Exciiiited

With all those mergers, its probably gonna come down to 1. IM & MC 2. Prime 3. SlayerS & EG 4. StarTales 5. MVP

MVP Nah man, online tournaments has nothing to do with live lan, everybody focused around that shit, Hero and Taeja who's new and freaking performing, I'd make a wild bet on TL to get far in this , and again, i'm not a "fan", just honest opinion, but please Ret go to korea! didnt check if he was but he deserves to prove that he's the second best foreign zerg and possibly number one, more confidence in his play and that dude could seriously crush some top players

Still no chance for even fnatic. Both fnatic and TL dont have enough Quantity of top tier players, when compared to the merged teams or the top GSTL teams like Prime and MVP. (Zenio and ByuL arent Code S level imo) I think these mergers are pretty lame, really fucked up the chances of the foreign teams. I would go insane if I were one of those managers of fnatic or TL.

Ahah, yeah I know what you mean, but thats also a way for them to actually get a way into the korean scene, which is needed at the moment. But I hope these mergers wont last more than a year, it should be a foreigner team by itself, a freaking Clan doesnt merge, it's a clan, it evolves on his own, recruits, fix problems etc. once the gap between foreign scene and korean's get closed, it shouldnt happen. About alive and Oz I wouldnt say better players, they're on the same level, but as always, SC2 is unpredictable, when you showed skills as they all did, anything can happen, you can be in a bad mood, didnt catch enough sleep, and next thing you know FREAKING QXC ALL KILL INCREDIBLE MIRACLE ahahaha. know what I mean?

Well TL doesn't really have a leg to stand on that side of this issue considering they were partnered with oGs.

The hype is always bigger than the actual event. Maybe we wont see all those 3 giants put together in a clanwar, and fnatic might win against the likes of LosirA and Happy. Still, I would like to see an statement from SK on this move. It seems they really want to compete in GSTL, but why not just add oGs players then, and replace them ? + Show Spoiler + The fishy thing is that with that move it really looks like $K is interested in MVP and NesTea, and get as dominant in SC2 like in CS.
