Source The Chinese famous DotA progaming team DK has annouced today that WCG Warcraft 3 Champion and former GSL competitor Park "Lyn" Joon has joined them as the first player of their RTS roster under the id DK.Lyn as a full-time Starcraft II player. Lyn left the now-disbanded Team Pandarea in mid April due to financial and salary problems, which he joined after WemadeFox's dissolve.
I wish Lyn stuck with sc2 this whole time.. Even if he loves wc3 (which i can respect, as a longtime fan of his and wc3).. Hopefully this leads to him coming back to sc2, as its future is clearly brighter than wc3..
Skinny mofo. <3 Gluck to him, and I'm glad a DK's finally got a RTS squad. Now they should pick up Fly and TH000 and immediately have the best War3 team in China. :|||||
(He's still playing both if people are wondering; he's in the StarsWar War3 KR qualifiers right now, set to play against Lucifer for the KR spot on the 25th.)

The OP says the first player to be added to their RTS roster.
So yes, he is their only player.

Yeah I agree, as a fan of wc3 too (like to me its the best game ever) I just accept that wc3 is largely dead anywhere else than china and wel probably never going to see truly legendary matchups again TT. and hey even if sc2 is not as good as wc3 its still an amazing game . So yeah, would be awesome to see Lyn do good in sc2.

Probably both. Because Koreans are imba like that. :D
Not sure people have to ask unless they didn't read the 3-4 lines of txt -.- it said he was full time sc2 nothing else :l
I'm not so sure about that, because a.) he's playing against Lucifer in a couple hours tmrw for the KR spot in the SW7 qualifiers in War3, and b.) his message from his Weibo says the following:
Lyn Repost: jia you ~ DK fighting dota!war3! .....sc2..... hahaha
He's also seeded into G-League War3 tournament last I checked.

Those lines were edited in after I made my comment. Also he's been playing War3 and SC2 for a long time until now, I had no reason to believe otherwise until that information came to light. Finally it seems he's not completely stopping War3 just yet, what Babylon said.

He mostly plays in chinese tournaments. He lives there and chinese tournaments are often heavy on prizepool and pretty light on actual competition, so it's pretty smart.
Always sad to see good players struggling to find a team. I hope with joining DK things will stabilize for Lyn and he can get back to what is important.. gaming!! Best of Luck Lyn and congratulations.

Small correction, he made RO4 code A and RO8 code S and I want to see him fully commited to SC2, making the RO8 is still impressive especially considering that he had pretty much no practice partners on wemade and was juggling 2 games at once.

Lyn wants to stay in China so he's going to stick to Chinese teams.
Lyn is young and has no family commitments like Moon or military service coming anytime soon. Strange enough even I'm Moon fan, Lyn would have been better in the long run.
He just destroyed Lucifer 3-1 yesterday for the KR spot in SW7 War3 tournament.
If the OP is correct that he is going SC2 full-time it's not unlikely that he is still allowed to continue playing in the War3 tournaments he is currently seeded into (three that I know of right now: SW7, G-League, AWC). Yes, he does prefer to play War3 over SC2. Yes, he has upcoming military service (when is not specified).

a.) Last bastion of War3. If nothing else he will probably close out all the tourneys he is signed up for before really switching to SC2. (Though I think I've pretty much heard both Moon and Lyn state recently that they would greatly prefer to play War3 for WCG if it is still in the running.) b.) His name-value in China is higher, so probs. better offer. Anyways, KR teams aren't rich. DK is the best DotA team in China. c.) He likes living in China. d.) He has a Chinese gf.
Nice to see that he's full-time SC2 now, I've always wanted to see what he could accomplish just focusing on it rather than playing both WC3 and SC2 simultaneously.

Some combination of those factors.
going to confirm what he is going to play, thx for the heads-up.
