You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

It's a master/GM MH thread for a reason, it's a waste of time reviewing lower league players as it's almost 100% a non map hacker and just 2 players who are low level doing random things.
Map hacking in masters/GM is far easier to see and to be fair, are the most hurtful to the community compared to lower leagues where no one has any real experience at the game. Honest last 20 pages of this Thread are filled with false reports, trolls and over all whining players that are hiding the real hacker posts made by Master/GM players of real know map hackers still active like nerfy ECT.
This thread needs to go back to it's old rules and moderation, if we want to shed light on the constant and real map hackers, like this thread was doing in WOL and early hots days. Should not use this thread as a general QQ thread because you lost a game.

The guy that I and 2 other ppl have reported on the last page started out as a diamond player when I posted, but he already got ranked against 2200+ Masters and now is Master. I also think that real Diamond players often can identify maphack, if they look at the replays and be honest with themselves. We have come to a point were people hack as obvious as sending every overlord in the corner of their base every game, never scouting, always countering and attacking perfectly, without even scouting where the opponent starts on a 4 player map. This needs to be addressed by blizzard asap.

If he is wrong, let him be wrong.
He supplied the replay, which acts as evidence, whether it be to prove the player in question guildy or innocent.
However, in the future, if someone post about some guy cheating in high masters with like no APM .. and we link him back to this thread when he "found out" in diamond .. I think that right there would provide more evidence, than just not posting, even if you are wrong.. if you honestly feel like the guy in question was hacking, and you see evidence in the replay, then post it, it may be useful in the future.
As for gernal QQ .. yes it can happen, but I want to ask you, do you think anyone really has the nerve to taint there reputation by crying wolf in this thread?
There are even Grand Master chess players who have falsely accused each other of cheating, so to think it wont happen is just insane.. but to tell people not to post.. because they are probably wrong is beyond that, specially in a thread of this caliber.

Nunez took a break from this thread because of his own reasons. This thread is used for people to see if someone is hacking. If you have suspicion, and see that his name pops up in this very thread you can add your evidence. There's not an avalanche of low league replays in this thread (if you think only master and GM is high league and relevant to the game get off your high horse). Diamond is a division away from master. If there's a hacker in there he can get master soon enough.
Now, if you have better knowledge of those cases. You can easily point out to user : "No this guy is not hacking because of this and that". I saw obvious hackers in bronze league, saw some in Platinum. Not much that's sure. But when they guy look into fog, click on top of your units/ovies and proxy you on a 4player map you don't need to be GM to see a hacker.
If you want this thread to go back to it's old rules, you can easily ask a moderator/admin to take control of the OP.
I'm not trying to argue against you, just pointing out some stuffs :
- A hacker in Diamond today is a hacker in Master tomorrow - Better safe than sorry. Some people just want confirmation and say : "i'm not sure". - You can take over the op if you ask a moderator and/or admin (maybe only admin). - Remember that if you can get from bronze to GM while 6pooling, you can get from bronze to GM was a maphack. - low APM in any high league is not relevant. Lots of GM have under 100/120 APM.

Name: Creativeless Server: NA League: Diamond (I know, I know, this is not a whine, I originally thought I lost because I suck and he was really good, after showing replay to friends to show off his splits, we realized it was some kind of micro hack and possibly maphack)
7:00 doesnt scout yet sends 4 marines to clear towers and to my 3rd (4player map hasn't scouted my start position) 12:15 pushes out, goes right to my 4th with a quick hover over fog 12:40, 14:10, 20:15 splits while selecting all marines and 7-800 apm spikes (theres a couple more but these were the more obvious ones) 22:00 pushes to my new 4th with no vision of it 24:40 one last insane perfect split
Please understand that I know I'm bad, and was WAYYY behind most of the game and that I likely would have lost regardless of this stuff, but after reviewing I thought it was pretty blatant. A quick google search of "creativeless sc2 hack" showed this http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/starcraft-2-hots/391699-tl-gm-master-hacker-thread?page=4 (go down a bit to psych's post) with similar evidence.
edit: derp forgot replay http://drop.sc/378073

TheJestOne:
Watched the replay, can't see evidence of maphack, though some suspicious moments are there, but one replay isn't enough. As for the splitting it is definitly very weird, but maybe he is just insanely good at it, we need more replays to say anythign definitly.
I would probably also assume he hacks, but we need more proof.
Have there always been this many hackers? I used to play with higher MMR, maybe at the top the hacking isn't as bad because most people are known in the community and among each other.

Server: NA Username: Hailey Link: starcraft://profile/1/12508630343047184384 Suspicion: Maphacking
In this replay, in the first match, (it is a 1V1 OBS HOTS game so several matches are played with observers.) Hailey sends an SCV directly to their opponent's natural with an Engineering Bay pre-emptively cued. I stopped watching there because I was convinced but a few matches later I play Hailey myself and they do a similar manoeuvre.
I frequently see Hailey in 1V1 OBS HOTS arcade games. Earlier today someone else said to everyone in the lobby that they suspected Hailey of maphacking which is what really got my attention in the first place. I've played many games in the last few days versus Hailey and while I didn't suspect them of maphacking, I did suspect them of ghosting at first. However, because of this other accusation and because I don't know of Hailey having an accomplice ghosting for them, I think it's likely Hailey is using a maphack given the number of games and there being different people each time.

If you look up Hailey in teamliquid archives. His name was first brought up for hacking in 2011. I myself reported him in this thread back in 2012 for maphacking. Much l like Nerffy, he seems like a nice guy who just came buying new accounts over and over again and map hacking with them. I just don't understand why anybody would do something like that.

Just played a 4v4 with "Eone" and I even asked in game if he was a cheater/map hacker as seen in replay. Somehow very early on he knows reapers are being built and says so within the game although i checked the replay and never saw him look into the fog of war where the reapers were. He keeps saying reapers throughout the game and as 5 or so are on the way to my base he pings my base and says reapers twice or three times to alert me. I watched his camera when he said that and he still doesnt look into the fog of war where the reapers were moving. Since i was suspicious i watched the replay first, then googled his name and found someone has already reported him.

well reporting any one here does nothing, this thread is more for people to just let out anger and frustration now, if you can be bothered searching for players that have been reported here you might be able to confirm what you thought. once the game is played though what does it matter, maybe you will remember for next time if that person hacked or maybe not.
if you want action to be taken against players you suspect might be hacking, you must report them to blizzard and how they say you must do it which is by in-game report system or email, posting here, on battle.net forums or anywhere else does nothing, your report needs to go to the team that deals with hackers and hopefully they are confident enough to agree and issue the ban for the next wave.
someone like nerffy probably doesn't care about being banned, he plays to have fun and only thinks of himself. while the cost of a new cd-key might seem a lot for some people, others its not and the cost of being banned probably still works out to be cheaper than playing WoW. on one hacker website i seen people selling cd-keys quite cheap for SC2 and other games so it is probably costing people like nerffy and other hacks even less then we think.

I don't see many people coming here to whine that they used maphack against them. The aim of this thread is to let people know about maphackers, so that if you were wondering how that guy always knew what you were doing and you see his name in this thread, you know what's up.

People keep saying this thread is useless. However you have to keep in mind there are people using this thread as a resource. If I suspect someone of MHing I will look in this thread to see if other people feel the same way. It is also good to have a thread like this for clan leaders and tournaments so that known hackers don't get into them. It is a shame the OP is inactive or this thread could be extremely usefull.

Hacker name: ClimaXFishie Server: NA League: Diamond 642 Games | 350 Wins (Top 8) Description: I know you probably think I'm just whining, but I actually won this game and watched the replay to see how he long he had this hidden expo (kept him in the game much longer than I expected). I also noticed some odd army movements and odd siege timings. My conclusion? Clearly a hacker. He looks at my base through the fog of war in the beginning and while doing drops. He avoided spores in my base without ever seeing them when he was going to drop. The biggest tell is in the early midgame when he randomly sieges his tank and then stims and attacks directly toward my army. Here is the replay.
Cheers.

Hi, just had a very suspicious tvt. I'm not an expert and calling him out, but i made some notes on plenty of random occurrences going down.
The replay is 2400p terran vs terran (~rank 15-8) on habitation, replay can be found here http://drop.sc/378362
Notes:
All game; makes no effort in putting anything anywhere in form of scouting, he never entered my base or scanned my base to even see what i was doing. He took watchtower in the beginning with a random hellion marine push.
7:20 opens raven double mine defensively , having 2 mines and raven ready just seconds before my banshe is in his mineral line, which he havent scouted.
16:50 while containing outside my nat, sieges up at my gold third, which is fine, but wouldnt it be appropriate to sscout it before sieging?
These stuff doesnt necessarily mean anything, but these are more suspicious.
20:50 randomly scans the map without any detection or knowledge of my position to see im heading around his third so he can make a crucial replacement of his army. without this he wouldve been dead. Doesnt even look at the map of which he scanned to see my unit comp
21:10 Does the exact same thing
25:56 places a random scan hitting my army , which is moving to his natural choke, again , had he not done this he wouldve been dead since i couldve moved hellions in his nat unstressed.
26:46 Same deal, random scan with no indication , very important for him to reposition.
28:05 Scan right on army seing me move through the mid of the map
