The game was Thorzain vs Sheth, I believe, and Day9 suddenly started talking about how amazing Thorzain is with distributing his workers among bases. Then the observer proceeds to show Thorzain's bases, and it's immediately obvious that Thorzain just did the same thing everyone else does - got up to optimal saturation on his main/nat, and rallied his CCs to his third's minerals. He's kind of like the Paulo Coelho of sc2 casting, really good at creating an illusion of depth. Also, a friend told me Sundance hates Dutch people and that's why Rotterdam isn't casting. Damn you Sundance, so unprofessional. Sundance hates 2 types of people in the world: People who hate other people due to where they are from and the Dutch.

Day9 not being there does NOTHING to affect tournament quality. I get liking casters, but being so in love that if they don't go to an event you think it will be a few notches worse...man. I could even appreciate if there were 0 good casters and everyone was suprised but we have like the best casting lineup i've ever seen here. Just deal with it, and talk to Day 9 and tell him to actually cast events which may not have him as the centre of attention. I doubt you'll be successful.

What if he said "No, I have other plans. I need to take a break and have a few meetings that week. Thanks for the offer". Why would that be MLG's fault?

Apollo and Artosis out of 8 "Premiere" casters is not enough, not in the slightest. Apollo+Artosis+Wolf+Khaldor would have been perfect. Or a player casting, anything to give us enough analytical caster to prevent the aberration that were pairs like JP+Simpson or Simpson+Husky at the previous arenas.

To me the show event with the Kespa stars is ranked way above the main MLG event, it deserves top quality casting. So, with this list, it must be Tastosis all the way.

Way to be objective dawg. They have Masters level play with made-up metagame and 2010 level of timings. Even the back-up 3rd/4th stream casters would have been enough to analyze those games.

He was great in the beginning but i wouldnt even put him in the top 5 for casters in the past year. Im sad Rotti wont be there though. Theres tastosis for the bw too... So many casters and streams... it seems excessive to me. Gonna be sweeeet. ummm where did you hear that about Rotterdam? I have heard no such things

A protoss going Roach Hydra Corruptors in PvZ, a Terran having no siege tanks when a Muta/Ling/Bling timing comes, has nothing to do with being influenced with BW. Not to be rude towards them, but they play certains odd styles because they don't know how to play the game yet, and not because they have influences from BW. But since the demand for "BW-pros playing SC2" is so high, they'll make them play eachother anyways, Ther's a reason why they just didn't seed them into the Open Bracket but made them play just between themselves.
