Every time day9 casts a tournament it has to be on his own stream, DH, Redbull, etc, is he really so stubborn that he wont cast unless he gets a ton of money and certain things?
He literally wants the biggest slice of the pie. he's greedy, he's trying to become a tycoon, and demonstrating very immoral business practices. He'll set up a sky sports equivalent for SC2, where every single tournament/event whatever will be owned by him, ran by him, and will cost money to view, not even any free SQ streams.
Better to beat him back into the corner from whence he came before it's too late.
Lol, that was brilliant!

Where is all the TotalBiscuit love? I could listen to that guy for hours upon hours.

Huh what !? proof please, i dont personally like day9 anymore but your comments are a bit... baseless? it's not a secret that day9 has increasingly become more commercially driven over the last year. for as much work as he put into the scene before getting paid, i think he deserves it now.
Is that what you're talking about?

Just because Rob Simpson works for Blizzard doesn't mean he should constantly get these casting appearances. He is really bad, he doesn't have a detailed knowledge about the game, he is not an analytical caster, he can't carry the flow of the game. Getting really tired of having him at these events and always turn off (or switch) the stream when I see him.
|
Is Blizzard forcing all tournament to use Rob Simpson? Moletrap > Rob Simpson!
@Day9 As we know, he wants 20.000$ per Event and MLG a greedy bastards, that want to have all the money for themselves...

No it's like 3 post above. The post by MLG_Adam.

i think i heard somewhere he worked for MLG before leaving for Blizzard... so that would explain him getting al the latest casting gigs, perhaps?
not sure if true though...

JP isn't on the caster list, either.

I'll measure this one on how much exposure will be generated to the local scene in the WCS finals. How much would be broadcast on streams, how much the casters can tell us about the local US players etc.
Other contries have managed nicely so far, let's see how the USA does.

dang, caster overload
artosis, bitter and apollo are the only ones I care for, good seeing apollo in the mix, the dude puts in the work

Tastosis/Robin, no JP/day9 = Me a happy guy

I hope the bw pros games will be casted by tastosis since I don't think the other casters know the players nearly as much as them
Would disappoint me otherwise

It's not that I'm gonna hugely miss Day[9], (though it would be nice if he was there) but its so strange, especially with all the rumours and controversy going around him at the moment, that he isn't going to this event. He was the cornerstone of MLG last year, and now he seems to have been completely fazed out of their events, for whatever reason.

Would have been pretty cool to have Fordan.

Personally I would prefere 1 super awesome stream with incredible production value and no down time etc. (and maybe 2 low budget gameplay only streams or so) than 6 streams at once with great casters which no one can watch at the same time anyway.
quality > quantity If I want to introduce someone into starcraft i need 1 super awesome thing to show them, not 10 mediocre things. But I guess MLG knows its own business much better than I do.

WOOOOO Jorosar, congrats man!
