Thanks Frodan for being an awesome coach and showing me a build that really stretched me. If push fails to do damage because of the enemy's strong defense/army, keep up harass, switch starport with factory and get 2nd gas Transition to rine tank viking.
9 Overlord 14 Gas 14 Pool 15 Overlord 16 Ling Speed/Queen/6Lings 21 Expand
From here make 2-3 injects of lings and apply early aggression. When you've done decent damage: - switch back to droning, take your gas - make defense with 2 spines at natural - make a 2 evo chamber wall - get +1 range attack and armor - get roach warren (and roach speed) - get lair - take a 3rd
These points are listed in the general order that you might get them. Since ZvZ is so dynamic, it's hard to say much beyond this as far as mid-game transition. For people in lower leagues, like myself, the point is to get into the habit of learning how to keep your advantage and win a 'won' game.
Very good idea, truly. Gonna watch it now, and try to learn somethings from it as a toss And I love how the marine in the picture looks like a teletubby!
Enjoyed the first episode, I like how you split it up into two parts so we can get an overview and some basics about the build and then a walk-through of the build. Looking forward to more episodes good sir!
Awesome video can't wait for the next one always fun to see things like this, also Sheth is probally the best guy you got to do the first episode also <3
This was super awesome Sancho :D! I'm excited for the next episodes! One thing that I feel could be improved upon is you could providing a written copy of the build order for viewers who want to learn it after watching the episode ^^

Great Idea. I actually had something like that made already. I'll make an edit in the thread RIGHT NOW! Thanks for the suggestion, and the encouragement! <3
HAHA! Great luck SanchoPanda! I hope you get the icon before HotS is released.
Interesting question: given the premise is "teach me that build" won't most of your strats be all-ins and timings? As a macro oriented Zerg player I find my "build" ends quickly after the first scouting information helps me realize what I'm up against.

That is a GREAT question!
I think for Zerg, yes the build breaks down fairly quickly UNLESS you assume farther into the metagame (like for instance Stephano's 3 Base Roach timings verses Forge Fast Expand). While this isn't optimal, it will help lower league players like myself learn the decision-making process better. What we need is not all the scenarios and permutations of a build, but something concrete to start with and work on improving.
For Terran and Protoss, however, my experience has been that it can be easier to dictate the terms of the game, allowing the build order in some cases to go further into the midgame.
It's true, there's no perfect build that takes you from 8 supply to 200, but a solid start in a clear direction is all i'm asking for. So for future episodes, I hope the build can go up to around 30-40 supply, but after that all I'll be asking for is general timings. And I certainly HOPE that they are not just all-ins... because honestly I feel cheep when I do them and guilty when I win with them
In a way I think that the food count listing obscures a bit of what's going on. For instance the reason that you drone to 41 before roach warren because you're droning up to full mineral saturation off two bases plus one saturated gas geyser. For people like me who needed to do the math:
2 queens @ 2 food each = 4 4 lings @ 0.5 food each = 2 16 drones per mineral line x 2 = 32 3 drones on gas = 3
That totals 41, which explains why the transition to roach production happens at that point. Getting up to 44 food is then just saturating the second gas.
Thinking about it in this way helped when I accidentally built more or fewer lings or had a bit of harrassement or whatever and let me fix the build so that I was back on track.

Awesome! That helps me understand it better. Posts like this help make the show even better, and remind me of why i love this community. <3

Thanks to Clutch for making episode two such a blast! Admitting he was not a pro, but still coming on the show and explaining what works on ladder at his current skill level is EXACTLY what this show is all about! I couldn't have found anyone better to follow Sheth. And of course, how many people get to hear their names announced the way he did mine? [fanboy moment] If you don't already, be sure to follow Clutch on twitter.

BINGO!!!
This calls for a little bio. My real last name is Sanchez, and my ancestry is from Spain... so i'm a big fan of 'Don Quixote' by Cervantes. I also have been to China several times, and currently am a youth minister at a Chinese church. It was the youth who got me into starcraft 2. <3 Anyways, that's the reason for changing the PANZA from Don Quixote's squire, Sancho Panza, to PANDA.

Thanks to Anachromy for taking initiative, sending me a PM and telling me about this awesome build of his. I love getting to have people besides pros on the show who contribute to eSports in some other way. Speaking of which, thanks also to Inix, for being my 'test dummy' in this episode. He is a caster, and website designer for eSports.

Thanks to Future for being an amazing coach and really fun guy to make the show with. I've been a fan of his Twitch Stream, for a while now, so I knew he'd help me put out a quality episode. As you can probably tell from part 2 of the show, Future is a great coach, and offers lessons via gosucoaching.com. His rates are half price this month!!! Also, follow him on twitter.
Thanks for having me on the show Sanchopanda. If anyone has any questions on the build, feel free to stop by channel Future on the NA server, and ask me about it!

Thanks to Relish for being an amazing coach and friend. He's currently taking a break from SC2 (i blame diablo 3) but hopefully we'll see him resurface after HotS! When he does, you can visit his twitch stream.

I made this outtakes video because I wanted a special way to say THANKS TO ALL MY YOUTUBE SUBSCRIBERS. This is for you, first and foremost! You saw how awesome the builds were, now you get to see how much fun it was to make the videos.
Thanks again to Sheth, Clutch, Anachromy, Future, and Relish, for being the first brave group of guests. You are the reason this show has had any success at all. Those who can do, those who can't teach. I can neither do nor teach, but i got you to do both... and it's working out pretty well so far
