Tour Video
Interviews
With MLG's Summer Arena just around the corner TriMaster, QXC and Sasquatch sat down for an interview about the house and the upcoming MLG event in New York City.
Live Streaming
One of the best features of the compLexity Gamma Gamer House is that there will be 24/7 live streaming where you'll be able to see what it's like inside of a professional gaming house at any time. For this, we are offering an entire page devoted to checking in on the players. See who is streaming live and watch them from the house cameras as they do. (*Note: Camera 2 will be placed in Training Room 2 when it is set up.)
Oh so Ganzi is still moving here but he forfeited for now because of his wrists. Well that's really cool to hear. This place looks awesome from what I've seen/heard. Lot's of terrans living in the house. Hopefully some of that sick Ganzi skill can rub off on qxc so he can get back to the upper tier of the foreign scene now that he is done with school. That house looks really nice from looking at the tour video. Good luck to all the coL guys!

Complexity had a team house for thewir cs team years ago and went on to become quite succesful. Wish people would quit with the 'frathouse' stereotype, because its obvious you have no idea what an actual frathouse is usually like.

^This times a million. If you think these team houses are anything remotely similar to a frathouse you've got no clue what you're talking about.
They tried the 24 hour cam in the RGN house and it wasn't really too successful. What I really am waiting to see is a more pervasive cam like big brother style in a way. Not that it would be amazing to watch but it would be a step id say someone will try eventually.
I'm so happy to see Sasquatch competing at MLG Summer Arena!! A pro from Long Island!! Awesome!! Good Luck Sasquatch!! You'd better make it to Championship Sunday for Barcraft Long Island!!!
More like Complexity Mansion plus a boat. THEY HAVE A FUCKING BOAT! Complexity must be bringing in some serious revenue to be able to maintain all those player salaries plus upkeep of a mansion and a boat. Good luck to them all.
And I think they should offer the live 24/7 streaming for a subscription fee.
That house is absolutely nuts! Hopefully the complexity guys can get some good training there because it sure looks like an easy place to slack off at :D
I wonder how long the 24/7 camera will last before there's some scandal some way or another involving a player getting caught doing something embarrassing.

GL guys.
yeah it totally fucked Violet over amirite?
The thing about that is Violet knows how to practice and get repetitions in. He doesn't sit around and diddy daddle.
It's not so much about the locale as it is with the work ethic, practice partners, etc.

I agree. Its also why I think GanZi will be completely fine in the coL house.
No wonder Ganzi is moving to America after he recovers from his wrist injury. I'm totally jelly.
My only wish is that all the team houses that crop up in America pop-up more centralized instead of splattered all over the map. Would help build better infrastructure in NA if everyone knows the place to go become a progamer.

You're forgetting QXC stayed in Korea back in the day with the non-Korean team FXO, and that TriMaster also just came back from a 3-month stay in the MVP Team house.

That house is amazing. In Sweden, where I live, a house like that would cost about 5 000 000 USD, if not more. Either I have to move to America or become a pro player. Seems as if it is mad cash involved.
lol, some guy on the stream chilling out like a fucking boss, trying to place his legs in comfortable places, although it's bordering on aerobics at the moment, rofl.

Are prices that high in sweden? The house is large, but clearly serial and not designed. You would normally get by with much, much less than half that price in most places I know of.

youtube's top comments are improving. it is my belief that some of the world's best trolls have migrated from forums we all know and love and now reside on youtube.
i'm sure someone else has mentioned it already, but how hard is it to put a handycam on a trolley? even a shopping trolley is fine to use for a pan shot.

Well, let's consider some facts.
The house is located in Houston, the largest city in Texas. Let's compare it to Stockholm, which is Sweden's capital city.
A tiny apartment for one person in Stockholm costs about 150 000 - 300 000 USD if you want it located decently. If you then want a nice, 1-man apartment, you'll have to pay about 300 000 - 400 000 USD.
That's a real nice house, spacious, big yard and close to water. Not to mention how up to date everything is. It's big enough for 20-25 people.
Try finding a house in Stockholm close to the water, big enough for 25 people with a nice yard.
This is as close as you get (because there are not even that nice houses in Stockholm):
It's about half the size of the Complexity house (7 room house, close to water, located in Stockholms suburbs and a yard) and it has a starting price of ~ 2 400 000 USD. The end price will most likely be 10-20% higher.
btw, welcome to TL.
Just checked the video of the house once more. Looking even better the second time around. Time to do some laddering in order to join complexity in 5-6 years, lol.
Is it it just my connection or does 24/7 not mean what it used to? I know i'd just be watching a dark room on the stream right now but damnit dont say its 24/7 if it isnt haha. How am i supposed to catch players midnight snacking!?

It's not, he probably never checked house prices in sweden in his life .

It is 24/7 just not for the next 3-4 days.
Awsome, thanks for the info. Going to get my diary out and start tracking player movements haha

Yes, but if frod and co never got the backing they did with complexity, their careers most likly would have stagnated ALOT sooner than they did.
Awesome house guys, hopefully it will help the Complexity players start racking up some awesome results too. North America needs to step up and maybe this will help that happen. Good luck.
I guess those web-cams will help spot any burglers! Haha

That's a completely useless comparison. Stockholm is hipster central, young people are basically selling their organs to live there.
I was hoping the 24/7 meant there would be a 24/7 team coL stream that would be streaming events, players practicing/laddering, show matches non-stop with no repeat content. Cause that would be truly sick.

comparing Houston to Stockholm isn't quite fair. Vastly different area's and such. Even before the housing market crash that house in Houston wouldn't be as expensive as it would be in Stockholm. Now if it were in LA, San Francisco, New York, etc it would probably be more.

tr1p's 1v2 was against Lunatic-Hai at ESWC 2005 in Paris, it's probably one of the most legendary CS moments!
Why does its name contain the word 'gamma'? I immediately thought of gamma bears however there's not a single gamma bears member (sen cough cough) in the list of residents. So... why gamma then?

I think their new sponsor has a big part in the acquisition of the house so they have a part in naming the house. Its kinda got a ring to it once you get used to saying it. Im really digging the 24/7 cam, not because Im gonna sit and watch it, but I like to 'check-in' before I play some games myself to get pumped up LOL

One of our sponsors, "Gamma Gamers" is the main backing behind the house - hence the name Gamma Gamer House
Looks like an interesting layout/ space plan for the house.... Interested in seing how the living/ playing arrangments will change once everyone gets settled in.
I have a feeling that the house layout isnt necessarily the best for gaming.... [multi story family room and compartmentalized rooms on separate levels]....
very affordable place to live in. The south in general is so much cheaper to live in. The only difference between living in the suburbs in chicago compared to the suburbs in say georgia is that georgia is outside the house. It all depends if you are easy to adapt to rednecks or not. IF you can then you are living the dream world. If you can't then the south ain't for you.

debatable, id say their talents just hadn't shown through yet.. takes time to make a team good, personally wouldn't say it was him making them legends.

Did Jason not put the lineup together himself? Did he not believe in an average top player like warden enough to keep him aboard during rebuilding? Did he not make the surprise steal of frod and tr1p from U5 and storm from tsg? Did he not make one of the biggest splashes when he bought bullseye out of retirement and offered the respected veteran and champion an unheard of contract for the time? Did this team not go on to win a major international championship within 2-3 events?
All those players were GREAT before they joined complexity no doubt, so I'm not sure where you get the idea that their talents hadn't shown through yet. Bullseye was already a legend who had just retired due to a long slump. Jason put the team together and gave them the support that put them on top of the world for a time and cementing their legacies. There is really no denying that.
