Actually, I'm not surprised to see no balance changes in this patch. It's purely a content patch, and I wouldn't want too many things in it that have the potential to go wrong. Also, the way they did the last balance changes were a bit different considering it didn't go through a patcher and just went straight into the game itself.

So glad there aren't balance changes, people need to learn to adapt rather than rely on Blizzard to make their life easier for them.

"A new in-game pathing display has been added that shows the path a unit will take on the mini-map. "
This particular change seemed pretty interesting to me.
As for the rest, I'm glad the arcade is done with, now they can focus on more important things.

I think it most likely may be for Blizzard DotA, since LoL has this feature.

Like zergs have adapted since launch? AKA whine to papa blizz until they nerf terran or buff stuff that didn't need to be buffed (like ultras, infestors and queens)? I do agree with what you're saying but, seriously t v z is broken right now.

It's kinda tough to go through 26 pages of posts... but did anyone talk about why banelings now automatically unburrow when a lossus is in range? Seems absolutely pointless. Baneling mines are awesome especially against deathball

Auto-cast on unburrow is already ingame. You can test it for yourself. Just burrow baneling and rightclick on unburrow ability. It will unburrow when unit comes in close range. But it's less effective than exploding them when enemy walks over banes
So funny that half of the SC2 community don't know about Baneling auto-unburrow

why are people expecting balance changes with this patch? the beta has been out for several weeks now.... ain't no balance changes

Saying Taeja got lucky is a lie. Very true, but it's still true that any Terran other than a top-notch, Korean-trained one is having a really difficult time posting any results these days. Any time you see the random Terran make it deep in an international tournament, you can practically guarantee it's a Code S Korean. Foreigner terrans have always been bad relative to Korean terrans. Any time anyone makes it deep into an international tournament, you can practically guarantee it's a Code S Korean or Stephano. That's cause Terran is harder to play than the other two races.

This has been a cause of some confusion, here's the deal:
In the game currently, you can put banelings on auto-unburrow by using auto-cast on the unburrow command.
What this does is if any ground units get in range of them, they unburrow.
Currently colossus don't trigger the auto-unburrow just because in a lot of ways, they're counted as air-units.
This fixes that bug, so that if you have your banelings on auto-unburrow, colossus will trigger it.
It does not affect the way they're used currently, you can continue to use them in whatever fashion you like, auto-unburrow has been in the game since release, this merely fixes them so that something that can be hit on the ground actually triggers the unburrow like all other ground units.

I can´t imagine a better patch for terran since beta. Ikr. Hey, terrans. We're looking at this all wrong, this is a great patch!

who the hell uses auto unburrow? Seems so pointless. The one guy who actually uses it is loving this bug fix. He's never going to miss a colossus again!

"Banelings lifted by phoenixes now use proper visual indication when detonating and damaging units below them."
Wait, so banelings have always had the ability to be manually detonated even if they're being lifted by phoenixes? Whoa... that doesn't seem right...
