Nice troll. When EG gets new players they aren't trying to be better than TL. They are trying to be the best in teh world, just like every other team. TL is good but not so far that people are trying to "catch up"

LOL @ this notion. Yeah because money is never valued more over the perception of some fantasy curse. Sigh...people can't really think like this, can they?!

Strange the rumored salary from Millenium offer is ever so slightly lower. Wonder if that made him choose or he just didnt like his team results.

LOL yeah seriously. He is raking in the money and he knows it. He doesn't actually like EG that much but the money was too good to turn down. He will still be the same dude I hope and just not give a fuck.

Hope he doesnt catch the EGslump sickness :S

if this is true, good for him. Stephano could save good money before the starts his medicine studies.
On the other hand I fear I will lose interest in him, because I fear he will not improve or even become worse. This opinion is based on two facts: 1. look at the development of all other EG members. 2. Money will often kill your hunger and without hunger you dont feel the pressure to run/hunt/kill.

Bye Stephano was nice to see you in relevant tournaments ... at least now you can make Kingston commercials

I wonder how much is the ROI for a player a team pays 100k/year
|
Well congrats to him, but man would it be funny if he did the EG slump.

Well their house maybe the best place, but the NA server where they have to play day in and out is the worst place. That is in my opinion why they always get so bad results in tournamets. You can not practice at the weakest server and expect to beat the top European and Korean players. EG is a good team but they need to change their training environment to be successfull.

Hmmm... adding a good player to a bunch of losers. EG keep trying it and somehow losing still seems to be their specialty.
There appears to be a lot of change in the air with the KESPA players and HOTS but if Broodwar is any guide in a few years it will be only Koreans playing SC2.
