Well this is interesting. This is the kind of poor management I am sick of hearing about in eSports and people REALLY need to sort their shit. Anyway, sharing 5 hours of ad rev for a bigger name player (such as Destiny) + paying to stay in the house sounds pretty abusive, especially when you factor in they don't have training schedules or adequate food.
This all sounds pretty bad and respect to you for raising awareness despite being pressured not to do so, this will definitely help others come out and say something if there are problems and hopefully sort the issue because these houses are what we need (mind you not run as you described obviously).
I hope this all gets sorted and you get your money back, the 10 years catch in the contract sounds pretty crazy. Whilst I'm not doubting you I'd say that point may have been misinterpreted. While I don't want to read too much into a slice of a Skype conversation it's clear the threatening tone he is taking towards you, certainly not the best way to talk to people.

Thats why dont belive it. Its like pro gamming suicide
Ret won't for 99% sure even sign contract since he has the free stay

Oh crap.. looks like we won't be seeing Ret joining any TL teamhouse or going to Korea... for the next 10 years.
Thanks for sharing the story Fuzer... this is just stupid. I thought MoW is a good thing, but when the Boss is really like this...i dont know...hope u get your money back!

There is misinformation here or a contract specified to non-TL members.
I recommend people in this thread save their tridents for when more information comes out.
Pretty sure the more known players going there will get treated differently ~~
I'm more surprised at the 600€ / month part lol. You can get your own apartment for that kind of money, why would you live with 12 other nerds and some landlords who obviously don't give a shit about the players living at MoW.
I severely doubt that everyone they take in signs this contract. I'm sure there are a lot of people they take on at a lower cost, or no cost, for the publicity side of it, and there are those they make pay their way. Like Incontrol stated, there's no way in hell any manager on TL would allow ret to sign that contract to train there. I think there's probably more to this than meets the eye, and I'm sure it really depends on who you are, or what team you're on that dictates what their conditions will be.
It's possible that everything you said is true, but not likely. And if it's true than it's probably only true in your specific situation. If it's true then the guys at MoW just thought they could get away with it on you and wouldn't try that shit on, let's say, Ret. Tough situation, but the more transparency they better. I would like to hear from MoW now.

It's true, but maybe Ret was given a different contract to sign from Fuzer. It'd be hard to scam a player from Liquid or any big team, but maybe they were trying to take advantage of less well-known players.
Still, I reserve judgement until the other side comes out. Incontrol is right, let's wait until the otherside comes out.

Exactly what I was thinking. Sounds like not-so-great living and practice conditions from inexperienced and bossy managers, and I think it's ridiculous that they would try and stop you from moving on to a legitimate team afterwards. After all, shouldn't they be showing off the talent that they just raised?
Hoping for some input from other MoW players/ people.
I couldn't imagine a player like Destiny signing that kinda contract either since it would directly cut into his main source of income (his stream). So I wonder if the contract differs from player to player (or if they haven't signed anything yet).
