Haven't seen this anywhere else yet, but: http://www.thisisgame.com/board/view.php?category=13438&id=1316653 http://www.gomtv.net/forum/view.gom?topicid=226671
Applications open October 31st to November 2nd
Priority will be given to these players in sequential order:
1. Players from the teams FXO, LG-IM, MVP, NSH, Prime, SlayerS, StarTale, TSL and FnaticRC 2. Players from KeSPA 3. Masters league players with at least 1000 points (by October 31st 12:00 PM KST)
After these players have been sorted, anyone will be able to sign up for the Code A qualifiers for a total number of 576 players. (First-come, first-served basis until October 31st, 12:00PM KST) Players must be >12 years of age.
Maps are: Daybreak - Whirlwind - Cloud Kingdom
Some notable Code B players: YongHwa TheBest NesTea jjakji San NaNiwa TheStC SaSe First Monster Alicia Lucky Oz HuK LosirA CranK TOP Choya Sting Moon InCa Tear KeSPA dudes etc
I really hope Losira, Naniwa, jjakji, and TheStC can make it through! Does anyone know whether or not TLO said anything about trying again?
Wonder how many kespa's will make it through this time. Hoping for Bisu and BeSt to make it through, and Fanta too of course :D aside from that guys like Stats and CJ_herO[join] together with Effort would be sick as well.
I predict a lot of zergs with that map pool.
Oh man, will Yongwha ever win it? I mean he won WCG KR. Perhaps it's finally the confidence boost he needs?
Nah j/k, he'll fall in finals again....D=
In other news: hoping Jjakji and Losira return to Code A. Nestea too because it just feels odd without him.
Other players from the "etc" I am hoping for: LG-IMFirst ST_Suhoshin MVP_Monster
The rest can be whoever outside those 7 I'm interested in seeing back.

I want anyppi in the GSL.
If Yonghwa finally wins, we know for sure that the world will end in December. It just is not meant to be for him to be in GSL.
Damn you saying " Kespa dudes "(Efforts,Baby,Soo,Bisu,Hyvaa,Soulkey).

ffs yonghwa better make it this time -_-
Would be beautiful if Nestea came back as BesTea and not Zergbong too. Sadly, even the staunchest fanboi could call what we've seen from him lately code A level ;;
Also: JAEDONG PLOX!
only Kespa player I truly care about. Was sad to see him lose to MKP because bane speed got taken out last season ;;

The foreigners are all Protoss?

I don't see why cArn wouldn't give it a shot.

Wow "kespa dudes" opterown so anti Kespa!
I will definitely attempt to qualify this time, thanks for the info.
Calling it now: HuK will advance to Code A this season.
My prediction: YongHwa will lose in the finals. First will make it, but fall out in the first round of Code A.
More elephants are coming.
Nestea in code B, so bitter...
Yonghwa in code B, absolutely ridiculous. Someone should tell him it´s a team game.
Hoping NSH can get at least one in, it wont be easy though.
Best of luck to Jjajki/Sting.
Hoping for Yonghwa, First, Losira and Nestea + at least one guy from NSHoseo.
Oh, and with Daybreak and Whirlwind as first two maps, I think they are trying to have as many Z qualify as possible, hue hue.
Hoping for Jjakji to pull through, but I suspect that most of the spots are going to be grapped by elephants.
I don't follow Code A usually so I don't totally understand how this works. Will Jaedong be in the qualifiers?
Gogogogogogo NSH!
Also, YongHwa. Well. . .actually, I kind of almost want YongHwa to fail in the finals again. It would confuse me to see him actually win his group.
On October 23 2012 04:08 Ferago wrote: I don't follow Code A usually so I don't totally understand how this works. Will Jaedong be in the qualifiers?
Yes. He was knocked out of the GSL completely so now he has to requalify.
Anyone with a decent rank on KR ladder can attempt to qualify for Code A, so I'd assume every KeSPA player will try for it.
wow, it took me a while to realize who "KESPA dudes" and "etc" is...lol

WHY IS THERE NO SEA ON THE LIST

They did very well last qualifiers and have only gotten better since then. I expect even more Kespa players to get through this time. Come on Bee Suit!!!!!!

PuMa was never in GSL.
I hope Naniwa makes it, would be fun if SaSe could make it as well.
Nice to see NaNiwa attempt to make it back to GSL, but considering his current mental status and the difficulty of even making it to Code A, I doubt he can return. Hope we can see YongHwa, LosirA, Monster and Oz in Code A, and with the TSL players at least making one player in Code A (looking at you Revival).
I usually hate the phrase "good for esports," but if Bisu makes it, it would be really fuckin' good for esports.
That Kespa Dudes sounds like a cool cat. I'll root for him
Would be pretty sick if we finally got a GSL match between Naniwa and Nestea, but it was in the code B finals. :D

Whirlwind isn't a zerg map at least not in ZvT.

If the op is right, then Kespa players do not even need a decent rank on KR ladder. (though I bet every one of them has one)

You are not truly out of code B until you win your code A ro48 match
With those 3 maps I am officially picking any terran who makes it thru that to win there Ro48 match against any opponent they have.
Also I cant remember many PvZ's on whirlwind how exactly does it play out normally? Just by eye test it seems too big to make BL/Infestor work because of how slow it is but on hand it almost looks like zerg could get it out before you are really able to take advantage of its size.
Quantic.Illusion should be playing the qualifiers.
Really hoping that NaNiwa and Sase will make it through the qualifiers!

Code A is so brutal these days.

He is playing at LoneStar2 so he won't make it.

Actually Soulkey is already in Code S :D

So, if these preliminaries are offline. How is Naniwa supposed to play in these since they are on November 10th & 11th? He is at LoneStar Clash 2 this weekend, is he not?
That would actually make me a sad panda - would really like to see him back in the GSL.

Never going to happen.

Bisu make it through please.
Nestea, LosirA, First and YongHwa to shoot from Code B to Code S. Gogogo.
I just hope none of them get put in the same bracket. TT

Casters at G-Star just announced that JangBi, Flying, and San have made it through their groups. There were other names but I forget
Well if San can make it through code A, I wonder who will pick him up... Wish he would of stuck with NSH though
pretty happy jangbi made it

Well, like I said, it was announced by the GOMTV casters on the G-Star stream. I'm sure official results were posted later. I just wanted to share the early news for those that don't speak Korean.
