In France, we have an expression for what Dragon is doing which is a "fuite en avant" (litteraly, a forward retreat). In other words, somebody ignoring present difficulties to focus on an illusory future (HotS)...

No, Lewellys (Manager of Millenium) knew that Dragon Focused only on HotS. Dragon can come in Europe now, but there are no tournament for HotS yet. So He would have stayed 3 months for nothing ... Then go back to Korea when HotS is release. Lewellys asked patience to Dragon because he didn't wanted Dragon to come for nothing ...

So many famous and loved people in this community have cheated at one time or another. Dragon got grilled appropriately and paid the consequences (a long time ago when he cheated), and people have since moved on. That being said, we shouldn't condone cheating of any sort. But we don't always need to bring it up in irrelevant threads Anyways, I hope Dragon finds another team! I'm a fan of his personality ^^ EDIT: On December 04 2012 01:42 _Nova_ wrote: Ax.Dragon, calling it. FORMER SLAYERS. I like this logic haha

Sometimes you get that sort of "awkward" "contrived" type feeling when a player joins a team that doesn't really seem like a fit for them team-wise and location-wise.. I definitely got that sort of awkward feeling when Dragon joined M. Not only that, but I think he's already passed his prime. And what the fuck is the point of practicing hots mainly if you're on a good-tier professional team that can send you to foreign tournaments right now? That doesn't even make sense. I don't get this guy.

He hasn't done anything good for Millennium expect streaming his game. No offense here, but he was a bad decision by Millennium

That actually doesn't mean shit in this community though. You could literally be the champion of any major tournament while cheating and people would eventually forgive you. Why we don't simply banish dragon/tt1 and all the other cheaters/hackers is beyond me. But dragon will continue to be around, he could even continue to cheat, wouldn't matter much. On topic, not a shocker Millenium is a team off actual players, dragon is just a streamer who used to play somewhat well.

KleeneX represents Millenium on the french scene. You wouldn't know about that - obviously - but he had decent results on a national level which meets the criteria set for him by his manager. Not everybody can be Stephano, and though I agree that we should weed out mediocre players to make room for better, more enthusiast players, I'm not sure it is useful to get rid of a player loved by your community (Millenium's) who plays for free on a national scene and helps for casting when needed (he is paid to cast or stream though) As for Dragon, I'm sad to see him leave but one has to question the way he handles his career. Though Millenium hadn't foreseen the huge visa issues they now run into with ForGG (and before him Dragon) which severely hinder both of their impact on the international scene, Dragon hasn't trained for a WoL tournament for 2 months, that's not really a serious attitude to have. Millenium's intent when recruiting Dragon was to have him play on the EU scene as a legit player, not as an entertainer. And he failed to uphold the status he wished to achieve.

For those that do not know or remember what happened with him in the past, I'll summarize: Back in 2010, Dragon, when he was known as MioWerra, introduced a "friend" known as 서연지 to play in online tournament 기사도의 연승전 on Gisado's show. He used his main account to stream snipe multiple opponents, including theSTC, while playing on the alt account, 서연지. TheSTC, along with several others, accused Dragon of map hacking. Dragon posted a formal apology, claiming that he will never appear in any Lan tournament or pursue a career in pro gaming. Despite all that, he applied and qualified for code A spot of GSL Open season 3. So no, he's a confirmed cheater. He did not just made 1 mistake LONG time ago. People like Deathangle and Veralynn lie about their league for coaching, and get banned completely and the entire community (rightfully so) hate them. Or Spades, Zach, Impa etc etc get caught cheating on LADDER they are 100% gone. But Dragon gets to stay even after cheating multiple times in TOURNAMENTS? DeathAngel/Veralynn was Tournaments aswell, just so you know. This is GOMTV's statement on the matter of him getting the opportunity to qualify etc http://kr.gomtv.net/gsl/community/index.gom?mode=view&msgid=10907
