I don't see them switching out any other of their godly players with the EG crop, although T-Zain could prove a good addition as well.
With Thorzain, Stephano, Hero, Taeja and Zenio I could see them as a contender at any teamleague there is. IdrA could be an excellent ZvZ sniper.
You're also forgetting Suppy, Puma, Thorzain.
Oh you mentioned Thorzain.
Still, Suppy had an excellent showing at BWC, and Puma has nice cheeses up his belt.

At first I was upset about Liquid being tainted.
Then the article made me think of TL as Goku going up against Raditz and needing Piccolo's help.

PuMa + JYP was pretty much the essential key for EG+SlayerS to make it to the GSTL Finals. Don't underestimate EG's Korean "mercenaries".
Dont' know how you can consider Zenio, as much as I love him, to be a stronger addition to the team than HuK/IdrA/ considering their WCS/IPL5 results.

so i'd say put up: suppy(all killer potential) stephano(all killer potential) Sheth(all killer potential) 2 others who maybe can win 1 game (probably not) :D
That's not how it works. Proleague format is like what we saw on day 1 of GSL World Championship. Each player is sent out only one time against an opponent, after they play their map they get benched, all-kills are not possible. I do prefer the pro-league format as well, because it makes the team truly work like a team, everyone needs to pull his own weight. The all-kill format maybe fun for a couple of thrills, but it really kills the team aspect when a single guy can go out and win on his own.
On topic, sick!!!!!! I'm super excited and, honestly I didn't expect this, but now it makes sense, Liquid or EG alone couldn't have undertaken this task on their own, but their combined forces should be enough to make them competitive.
I just hope that it goes better then Liquid in the GSTL, losing to Zenex prior to the absorption and also getting all-killed was very painful. They do have more advantages going into this, a deeper roster and Hwanni to potentially coach them and do the tactics regarding which players to match up against who on the maps, giving them proleague specific training, sniper training etc.
Overall awesome development, I'm now can hardly wait for the first day of proleague!!!

seriously doubt suppy will be playing in proleague since he's heavily committed to his studies at UC Berkley.

Oh my god. This is a good team. Taeja, Hero, Stephano. Definite contenders.

Wow, this is pretty sick.
I mean, I think we all realise that most of the regular roster will feature the teams' Korean players who live in Korea full-time, but seeing foreigners in real PL matches will be awesome.

Wow. I never would have guessed this in all my years of following Starcraft. I definitely didn't see this coming.
Awesome!
