A lot of this was based on Week 1 and who is playing who. I figured Flash is a lock over Zenio (good for my team and anti team.) and Wooki can take JYP in PvP.
I think Dear can take Bisu in PvP, I think Fantasy will beat classic, Wooki has a lot of potential. I chose Light because gut feeling and Zenio because I think he will not do so hot.

Because Trading a player will cost you points. You can only trade for a player that costs less than who you are trading in. For example, you can trade in Taeja (7) for hyvaa (6) but not the other way around. Because of this you will want to pick a team that you think will serve you well the entire season (because you might lose value in trading), along with players you believe will appreciate in value.
Edit: also, I wonder if TL can implement a 2-for-2 trade option. For example, I trade in Taeja and HerO (7+7=14) for Rain and Hitman (12+1=13). Would make things more interesting, and make picking up sleepers that appreciate in value more important (because they will allow you to trade up, and get another sleeper).
Needs better formatting for picking up players. I kept having to flip between player selection and liquipedia to see who was actually playing this week. Really sucks that team picks take so many points, I had to let Flash go because of it. Why are people picking players for their main team that aren't even scheduled to play?
It's not just for this week.
It's for the whole season.
You will be given a few chances to trade for players who are lower point value as the season progresses. It's not a question of just going by the week but the entire season as well.
oh man this is gonna be awesome, thanks for putting this together!
I was surprised at some of the point values, to be honest. Honestly think that Flash is significantly overpriced right now, I guess we'll see how much he improves in the coming weeks.
Anti Team 9 Bogus 3 Huk 12 Rain 1) There seems to be something wrong with my team choice code line. Anyone know why or have similar issue? 2) Anti-team analysis: As much as I hate choosing against Huk, he hasn't had very good results lately. Also, While i expect Rain to be a freaking beast I'm hoping he and Bogus don't live up to their point values. Bogus especially he has like a 25% TvP win rate. 3) Reg. Team analysis: JaeDong- gogogogoogogogogoogogogogogo LiquidSea- 2 points = good deal he's gotta be good to make it into Liquid and is pretty good on stream. Just unproven as of yet. EGPuma- 3 points = good deal. The Puma (3 points) vs HerO (7 points) closeness tells me that Puma seems under rated here. I predict he'll easily prove worthwhile. Bisu- I feel could go either way but I'd say he's more likely to improve, decently low point value too. Stephano- near all kill at korea vs the world in GSLWC says all here. CrazyHydra- destroyed at mlg mvp tourny. Was really impressed with his play there. plus zerg op. can't go wrong here. KT-Rolster- I couldn't afford Flash so this is my way of including him :D plus KT is only 3 points, which evens me out at exactly 30.
You only need 13 points for your anti-team...
If this keeps up, you're also going to spend your 4000th post to pointing this out.
THE PEOPLE MUST BE INFORMED.
A lot of guys really didn't read about how it works, lol.
Pretty KT heavy team. I honestly think KT are going to do really well this season. I'm pretty sure Mind can beat Puma. Ryul2 vs Jangbi I don't know but he's a zerg soooo...
I really tried to pick players who I thought were going to do good. I really did I promise and seriously in the end it ended up like this. **sigh** I am just to much of a believer in EG-TL. GOGOGOGO Liquid/EG!!!!
Im new to FPL, so can you explain to me why you chose mind as part of your anti-team? I thought you would want to pick higher point players so that they have more room to fall.
That's not quite it--you want to choose the worst 3 players whose point values total to 13 or higher.
Yeah. Basically, if Rain underperforms (for example), maybe he'll net only 30 points over the season, which is still a lot of points subtracted from your total. You want players who will underperform and just barely meet the 13 point requirement because that means they will underperform from their already fairly low expectations.
The 13 points refers to the "values" already next to their names, not how many points they'll get during the season...

I think it's because BaBy's the ace of T8.
that makes sense, but T8 is the worst team, i dont know if theyre good enough to make it to an ace match lol, plus he's not the best ace player, so there is a possibility of him losing a point for playing in the ace match.
question about anti team if a player loses his game and gets -1 points and you have them on your anti team you gain that point right? or does it only subtract positive points and not give you any negative points?

T8 won't win, but their players will get a few games. BaBy is a good bet to be their only winner. Also he only needs to win 1/6 ace matches to break even (5 points of ace match win, -5 for the 5 losses). Pretty sure BaBy is good enough to do that. A 7 for a more or less sure ace is good value that's why I picked him (even though I originally didn't want to)

The points are not necessarily directly based on how good a player is, but rather on how many points a player will score under the system. Baby one of T8's few ace's while Taeja has a lot of competition. Also, Taeja will probably be traveling more and is already guaranteed not to be playing his first match, which is 1/7th his point potential.

A player loss (-1) is offset by the fact that they were in the lineup (+1), so the net result is zero.

hmm ok what about if they lose the ace match as well what would the outcome be then?
At what point did people start believing that Kespa teams will do better than a team sporting people who are winning a lot both inside and out of Korea (Stephano, TaeJa, and HerO all on the same team) Plus TaeJa and Stephano are known for being beasts in Team Leagues. If EG/TL drops more than one match this entire season I will be shocked.
