Weird choices for best matches IMO. The beginning of the year isn't getting any love. I think Nestea vs DRG from the first season of this year was an amazing ZvZ series much better than Nestea vs Symbol in GSTL. Also was Yugioh vs MKP really that good? I didn't even see it.
Also can't believe Hero is winning the favorite player poll.... Good lord...
I do hate that the universally accepted best GSL finals (and apparently match) of the year is like the only one I didn't get to see live. Voted for it anyways, the VODs did it quite some justice.
Also how could I not vote for Hero and TL? Hero's been my favorite player since the very first day he turned on his stream. And TL gets the nod just for recruiting him as far as I'm concerned!

Team Liquid top of the favorite teams. I have literally never seen a more disgusting set of poll results in my life.
Wow.. cry more? Team Liquid is a favorite team and group of players amongst SC2 fans. Why should it not be at the top? The top does not have to be the best team. Your tears are enjoyable to see though.

He is the favorite of lots of people... what is wrong with that? Are their choices worse than yours? Good lord....
MVP vs Squirtle!! oh the nerd chills, still got em at the thought of that BC vortex!~ MMMMMVVVVVVPPPP!!! Startale! (though Liquid had a great year too)

You are wrinting the critical word "favorite", it isn't about necessarily the best player. HerO is clearly one of the most popular players in GSL and he did fairly well this year, Ro4 and Ro8 is still very good.

I agree; Taeja vs Life? That 3 - 0 was horribly onesided... I wouldn't consider it a nominee for 'GSL match of the year.'
A few of the others(like Yugioh vs MKP) I can't even remember.
You're voting on a poll on TL's website, of course TL and it's player is going to win both polls. You shouldn't be surprised of the bias. I thought Taeja would fair better, though.
MVP and Parting are my favorite players, hope they do well \o/

haha, taeja tweeted the same thing, obv not working
In a poll like this the start is all that matters. Once Hero and MVP started out so far in the lead it seemed pointless for many to vote for anyone else so many just pick their favorite between the two.

First one was probably the easiest. MVP vs Squirtle was cool, but the match felt a bit too turtle-ish for me. GuMiho vs MMA was insanely action packed.
Second one was the hardest. When DRG / MKP were doing good (Think MLG Arena era), oh my god. If the poll had occurred during that time period, I would have had to have made two accounts and voted for both of them. I sadly missed Taeja's rain of terror but he's probably deserving. Leenock's recent performance is exciting aswell. HerO and Parting both have done well and are my favorite Protoss's. In the end MVP seemed the best choice. I don't think I ever cheered against him, him cheesing Protoss left right and center was one of my favorite seasons, with everyone complaining about how he is a terrible player. Here's to hoping he wins get the G5L trophy next season.
I hate picking teams, I easily could have voted for Startale, MVP or FXO on this one, and had NS HoSeo not lost most of there roster over the year, I could have picked them as well. Same thing for SlayerS if they hadn't disbanded / were on the poll. LG-IM was my pick in the end though, I like the majority of there players and there style. Their coach is a pretty cool guy and has sick cheekbones. And there sponsor pushing has been really fun to watch.
I voted for Flash vs Ryung, that game was epic, though Mvp vs Squirtle final was also epic, short and tense, but it just couldn't match the epicness of the positional play between Flash and Ryung.
Top player of this GSL was easy Mvp. He has consistently been in the GSL in one form or another, and has been the only terran to win a GSL and the only other player to make it to a final a second time.
Team, I had to go with FXO, winning two GSTLs and back to back has cemented them as a top caliber Korean team, hopefully they get the respect they deserve from here on out.
TL being there in the pool not only surprises me but the number of votes they got disgusts me.
Seriously, TL only made two appearances in just one GSTL, and both times they lost horribly. They had two players in the GSL that did consistently well, but also kind of had their ups and downs at times, but they had no new players do well in the GSL, while all other teams had newcomers make appearances in the GSL.
TL shouldn't even be on that list, and the amount of blind fanboyism makes me sad. Yes TL is a remarkable team, yes they have done well abroad and yes their members have done well in other tournaments. But in GSTL they have been utterly horrible.

The purpose of the poll seems to have gone far over your head...
Lots of people calling out each other for having different favourites in this thread...grow up people. Understand that what's horrible to you won't necessarily look the same to others.
Anyway, going for Squirtle vs Mvp/Squirtle/Startale. I voted for my favourites. Really don't give a crap who's in the lead, just wanna show my support.

Name one memorable hero GSL game. I've been trying and I can't do it.
Makes me wonder what all those people voting for Hero have seen of him in the GSL that I haven't. Even Hero's deep runs end with him eventually being smashed by a player that's better on all fronts.

Memorable? HerO vs Leenock, though I feel bad for even mentioning that game and if you wanna stay a sane person DO NOT WATCH IT. I've seen every game he played in the GSL and he just plays awesome games. His series vs Symbol & Ryung were really good, his Ro4 run was really impressive and well played, etc. He's a fan favorite because of his playstyle, that's why he's that high up. And I get it, he's my favorite player too.
Also his first run was ended by Squirtle whom HerO is currently WAY outperforming, Rain is kinda slumping too I guess while HerO is winning tournaments so you can't really call them better on all fronts.
I was thinking that the best game shouldn't be MVP vs squirtle, but then I thought about it and there are so many games in there I have a clear image in my drunken mind of how they looked. Good games don't always need to be the closest, but most memorable. MVP vs squirtle was memorable for sure.

Reach Ro4 got 3-0 by Squirtle. Reach Ro8 got 3-0 by Rain.
Reason why HerO got so many votes 1.TL player 2.Playstyle is fun and interesting to watch back in PvZ. 3.Some people calling him Mini-Bisu. 4.Recently won NASL and Dreamhack back to back.
This is just a popularity poll after all. People shouldn't fret too much about it.

MVP only terran to go for mass BC+ghosts against Toss in a top-tiered game.
That itself make it memorable.

Don't fucking remind me of that. I still cringe when thinking of that game (the Soulkey one). Even worse than the Leenock game.
WTF Seriously? Why in the fuck would ANYONE who saw both games vote for Mvp Squirtle over so many of these others, please reply I can't fathom how anyone's brain could function like that. He made BCs then proceeded to get horrifically destroyed in a horrendous engagement. He would have won if he had micro'd it properly but didn't for whatever reason and people think it's a good match? It's like if Moon killed every drone he had to make pure baneling supply and detonated them right before they hit 150 marines, would that have been a good game?
MMA Gumiho was amazing, only thing better would be if it was game 5 >< One of the greatest SC2 games I've ever seen in my life let alone this year.
I wasn't really sure to pick hero. Mvp is a close second. A year ago i wouldn't have thought to not choose a zerg. I guess my zerg bias has lessened a bit. Life is third, but at a considerable distance.

Yeah, that one was very awesome. ryung really made use of mobility to punish drg's slow composition.
Mvp vs Squirtle best series, MMA vs Gumiho best single game, Mvp vs Squirtle game 5 around 41 mins best individual clip Fav player PartinG Fav team StarTale
MVP the man even has an entire team named after him and yet his achievements and wins are more then the entire MVP "team" together. (not true for a fact, but it's fun anyway)
That's when you know your prity much a baller :D
Team LG-IM ! ofc.
And the Squirtle vs MVP finals ofc. Squirtle just isn't the same after that breaking loss, only MVP can do that to you ask MKP.

In the context of the GSL EG haven't had that much success.
For direct comparison vs liquid in code S.
Season 5, 2 liquid players in code S (RO32) Season 4, 2 liquid players (1 RO4, 1 RO8) 1 EG player, (RO16) Season 3, 2 liquid players (1 RO8, 1 RO32) 1 EG player (Seeded RO32) Season 2, 3 liquid players (1 RO4, 1 RO8, 1 RO32) Season 1, 1 liquid player (RO32) 2 EG Players (1 Seeded RO32, 1 RO32)
So with this poll specfically relating to GSL this year, in comparison to their "main" rival they haven't had much success.
After looking that up i'm half tempted to do a comparison of LG-IM vs Startale that should show some intresting numbers lol.

I thought that option was for game 7, I picked it because I almost had a heart attack being so emotionally invested in it. Maybe it means the whole series or maybe it means game 5, or game 6. It's not really clear.
If the poll was for match which showed the most skill from both players I would vote MMA vs Gumiho, but as is it's just not as memorable compared to GSL S2 finals.

Yep, HerO beat him pretty convincingly. I think Mvp took a game but HerO looked really good there.

I know TL didn't win a GSL this year but they did very well as far as results go. Hero got a ro8 and a ro4, Taeja got 2 ro8's and a ro4. That's better than some ESF teams. Also, teamliquid.net is not the only place they are taking results from so unless TL is popular in the KR scene too I doubt they will actually win. Either way they do deserve to be on this poll, if you want to complain about a team not deserving votes you should complain about EG.
favorite player is so impossible. I mean, MVP is amazing 4 time champion, winning despite injuries when no one gives him a chance, TaeJa has been such a strong amazing addition to TL, he was doing awesome in online cups, but didn't really start making a name for himself internationally until he joined TL, and HerO is that guy you always have to pull for because he is so good and struggled for so long with nerves, basically making himself an underdog when he shouldn't really ever be with his skill and multitasking. AHHH! Choices! :D

You don't even need that thread just research tournament results on liquipedia. I mean "team with the best results" is a very measurable thing. As Dodgin, and many people before have said, this is a "favorite" team. If two of the top 3 FAVORITE players are on the same team, it makes sense that is also the FAVORITE team, and guess what the other player in the top 3 is LG-IM and they are the second favorite team, currently. Vote for whoever is your favorite and quit saying other people's opinions are invalid.
There should 7 voting options, all labeled "MVP vs Squirtle CodeS 2012 Season2 Finals" tbh, no other final really delivered on the final match and created that much tension
with MVP and Nestea winning the Nestea award this year, MVP being in 2 GSL finals, Seed winning a GSL my votes for GSL team of the year is looking like its going to Incredible Miracle.

Also, teamliquid.net is not the only place they are taking results from so unless TL is popular in the KR scene too I doubt they will actually win. Either way they do deserve to be on this poll, if you want to complain about a team not deserving votes you should complain about EG.
StarTale and IM posted farrrr better results and FXO won back to back GSTL titles. TL shouldn't be ahead of any of those 3 tbh.
It's a popularity poll, not a team that did the best poll. We can make another thread and have a discussion about which team had the best results this year if you want.
Beside, we are on a TL site.....so bias gonna bias
Funny that the MVP vs Squirtle: Season 2 Code S Finals which everyone seems to be voting for was the one that I attended in person back in May while being in Seoul.

Name one memorable hero GSL game. I've been trying and I can't do it.
Makes me wonder what all those people voting for Hero have seen of him in the GSL that I haven't. Even Hero's deep runs end with him eventually being smashed by a player that's better on all fronts.

This really isn't an argument for this thread but I just rewatched game 2 to see what you were talking about and I don't think not scouting a hidden base should be called bad luck. It's just incomplete play, but yeah HerO did well in that series.

Okay, this is off-topic, but the most memorable game I've ever had of HerO were of him getting slaughtered by Rain and Squirtle and then his losses vs Leenock
Glad that MVP is leading the poll, I always had the feeling he wasn't that loved (when compared to MMA or MKP) by the public when he was playing in us/europe.

For a long time that was the case because people thought he was boring. I remember back during his reign on dominance he was trying to add in some more stylistic stuff to get more people to like him

Everybody loves an injured champion proving he's still got it, and in a time of Terran tears everyone is rallying behind him even more. I bet when he reveals he's had experimental surgery to become part cyborg (neck and arms) and wins everything in HotS everyone is going to start calling him boring again :p
GSL Tour Team poll is stupid. Lets have a poll about a team, which includes the team of the website you gather the data from? And to top it off, they didn't do anything in the team leagues, and only made the round of 8 (once?) in the whole year?
Team of the Year is easily ST/FXO. ST because of how big some of their players have become in the latter stages of 2012 or FXO for being so good in the Korean leagues.
Other than, i voted for pretty much a clean sweep for mr MVP, he never ceases to amaze me.
I think my favourite game of the year was Ryung vs DRG on whirlwind from GSL season 3. That game was just one of the best examples of how a 50+ minute game can be exciting throughout.
Best series, I voted for MVP Squirtle. Not because of the metropolis game, but because of the tension in that series and the variety of strategies and the high tension scrappy last game.
Also, I don't get why people are complaining about bias... We are asking for your favourite player/team, not electing a president. Do these polls mean so much to people that they need to get upset about them?

TL's GSL results in 2012 are
HerO ro8x1 ro4x1 TaeJa ro8x2 ro4x1
Also, this isn't the only place they are gathering info from, the Korean fans are going to vote so unless they also all love TL It's unlikely they will win.

One is only one less than two. Because only two player from EG participated in GSTL, not enough to be in this poll in my opinion...
EG is a full team, SK (MC) is not a full team, it is basically just like Azubu viOlet, you can't vote a sponsorship for 'best team' when they aren't a team.

Yup. If you look at his fan club posts, he actually got a LOT more this year compare to end of last year when he was 'dominating'.

And that's why his match vs Squirtle is leading the polls . People over rate that god awful Metropolis game where Mvp decided to be a showman for the crowd and lost, causing the series to go to 7 games rather than taking it right there 4-1. Granted, game 7 was good, but it should have never even got that far if he wasn't trying to please the mindless masses.

Mvp vs squirtle. In Game 5 the tension was nerve wrecking, Game 7 was killing me. There's hardly any series I've felt so engaged and tense. It's not about the play, not about how horrible the actions were, it's about being memorably tense.
For the rest: MVP + LG-IM, though that last is more because I don't think TL deserves to win.

I think that series and games is more remembered for the tension and atmosphere then the actually game play itself (although g5 is not a game situation we see). It is like a 3 pointer at the beginning of a basketball game feels a lot different than a buzzer beater even though physically, they are the same shot.

I suppose some of it could be about memories becoming sweeter with time but the LR thread complainers do not represent everyone voting. The series might have been unexciting at first but Squirtle coming back by winning 3 games in a row and making it 3-3 and that one game everyone will always keep referring to when someone asks about most epic matches is why it's winning. Not to mention the great storyline of MVP going in to a slump and his health issues but still becoming the first player ever to have won 4 GSL when people were beginning to doubt.
Poll: 2012 GSL Tour Best Match Gumiho vs MMA: GSTL Season 2 Finals: Easy pick, since I didn't see Squirtle vs Mvp.
Poll: 2012 GSL Tour Favorite Player MVP: This should be the only viable choice. Mvp is GSL and GSL is Mvp.
Poll: 2012 GSL Tour Favorite Team Startale: Had a hard choice between LG-IM and StarTale, but ended up in favor of StarTale, because they have more prominent protoss players! Also some whine about who ends up winning this category, saddens me to see Team Liquid dominate it this heavily considering how little impact they had in GSTL . TaeJa and HerO however have been making good profiles in GSL. Meh, favorite =|= best.
Mvp vs Squirtle was pretty cool, but it's a little bit overhyped imo. MMA vs Gumiho was propably the best game to date. Interesting notice: Previously, the best game was also MMA, but vs DRG. This guy has something in his playstyle that just makes the game that much more exciting.
and the round of 4 of the season Life won in: MVP vs Rain - those matches were EPIC!!!! It came down to a final game with MVP winning on an all in just like vs squirtle. So awesome.
MVP is by far my favorite player - so glad he got back into code S.
If flash can get his butt into code S and JD - this season will be SO cool.
Mvp vs Squirtle was quite amazing. Life vs Mvp was quite great as well. I guess it was missing one superepic game. Ryung vs Flash was OK as well, but I think there were just better games like Ryung vs DRG on Whirlewind.
Hm, actually, I think that DRG vs Symbol (was it those two players? and was it GSTL?) on Atlantis Spaceship was an amazing game as well, with DRG going Ultra/Infestor/Zergling against the Roach/Hydra/Infestor of Symbol.
Well, anything else is easy to answer. Just fill out TL and Mvp accordingly

HerO is really REALLY frickin good. He's coming off of two huge tournament wins and made GSL Ro8 and Ro4 this year. Although many players have performed fantastically in GSL this year, very few are new to the party or have experienced long-term success throughout the year. If you remember (aside from DH Winter 2011) 2012 was HerO's big breakout year. He has been a Code S regular for all of 2012 and not many players can say that. Even fewer can say that they made the semifinals. He is personally my favorite player to watch and has been for a very long time and he deserves lots and lots of votes.
Mvp is insanely popular in the Korean community, so he should win Favorite Player of the Year pretty easy. TL is leading the community poll, but I'm sure LG-IM or Startale will beat them when they count the Korean votes. The GSTL is always packed with people. Koreans love team league.

Yes but making GSL Ro8 is like winning DH and NASL + someting else :3
DH winter was Hero beating a few europeans and then owning Taeja NASL was Owning taeja again and beating Polt + Violet, much easier than Code S
I dont want to discredit but for HerO winning this tournaments should not be an achievment, top 3 should be almost like a requirment for top 5 protoss atm
What does everyone think about the other awards from last year. imo Best Match: Mvp vs Squirtle Most Improved for each race: I'm going to ignore Kespa for obvious reasons. Taeja for Terran. For toss...PartinG or Creator? It would be Seed if he was still doing decent. For Zerg, if we look throughout the whole year, it's probably DRG. He cemented himself at the beginning of the year, even though he has came back down. Best Ceremony: Probably Seed? lol Special Award for promoting eSports: Way to many to choose from. Best K-Pop Girl Group (User Vote): Don't care Most Popular Team (User Vote): LG-IM or StarTale probably. Most Popular Player (User Vote): Mvp easily. Best Coach (Chosen by Reporters): Depends on what is valued more. Team results... then probably Choya. Individual results.. then IM Coach.
Best Match: Mvp vs Squirtle, non-arguably Most Improved for each race: If we only pick from ESF. For Protoss PartinG. I mean the guy was a no name before 2012, no one even knew who Parting is. Then he came in 2012 GSL season 1 and crushed everyone till Ro8. Next Season? Ro4, only godly Mvp was able to stop him. Then few allkills in team leagues (GSTL and IPTL), and then he became both BWC and WCG champion, as well as 2nd WCS Asia and 3rd WCS KR. For Zerg it has to be Life. He was overshadowed by Line in ZeneX but then became (first!!!!!!!) royal roader and the youngest one in history of Starcraft + MLG Championship you know, where all top koreans go For Terran its probably Taeja, same story. Was a decent terran in slayers, but boy he became strong when Liquid bought him. So many titles Best Ceremony: Parting no question lol among many others Special Award for promoting eSports: Dont know, nobody stands out. Best K-Pop Girl Group (User Vote): Don't care Most Popular Team (User Vote): LG-IM or StarTale no question Most Popular Player (User Vote): Mvp i guess. It's going to be funny when Team Liquid - a team that got absolutely crushed in their only GSTL season - wins team of the year.
I'd count individual performances into my view on a team. I prefer the individual leagues though.
It's not like Taeja or HerO actually won a GSL... Yeah Ro4 is nice and all, but when you have both IM and MVP with double Code S championships and 6 players in the 5 grand finals (7 if you count MC), even individual leagues only detract from Liquid'.
(And yeah, foreign events have no say in this lol this is GSL only)

lol hopefully a team with actual results in Korea wins eh?
Mvp probably has some fanbase in KOrea. But I doubt its anything to the fans he has internationally anymore. He has shown incredible play, entertaining games, championships. But to do so through diversity is what wins the heart.
Playing with a debilitating injury he won a GSL, reinvented mech against zerg, and almost won a 2nd gsl. Mvp is the God amongst men, compared to all the other SC2 players.
Other than diversity his story of how he bought his family a house because they were poor and needed support and how he praised his father. I cried then, crying now, and I think almost everyone must have been similarly touched.
I don't just like Mvp as a sc2 player either. He seems like a great guy. I am almost in love with him! And he deserves it!

There were polls on PlayXP also. The results weren't shown, although if I was reading correctly there were many, many fewer votes... don't know if they're just going to add up all the votes or do something else.
I'm surprised people enjoyed MVP Squirtle so much, personally I feel that game was everything thats wrong with SC2, if anything the 2 Rax was the better game in that series.
MMA v Gumiho on the other hand was just beautiful, a nail biting game where both players aren't consistently making obvious mistakes is quite rare.
Also feel like MKP v Parting from the GSTL finals should be on there, sure it ended badly but before that it was probably the most exciting game of the year.
Pretty shocked that FXO are doing to poorly in the team one. They just won back to back GSTLs... what does a team have to do to get votes?? Instead you guys vote for TL?? I like TL as much as the next guy, but they haven't even had a GSL finalist this year or any GSTL success.
Just seems like people are just voting for their favourite team, without giving any consideration to the actual events. It's pretty obvious that if you were objective then either FXO (back to back GSTL), MVP (Two GSL winners and an all MVP final in 2012 Season 1, also runners up in the latest GSTL) LGIM (Two GSL winners and MVP reaching the final twice) or Startale (A GSL champion and a runner up in both a GSL season and a GSTL season) deserve the prize.

It's just pretty sad that people can't look beyond who they like to give a vote to a team that actually deserves an accolade.

Favourite isn't equal to "deserving of accolades." What's so hard to understand about that?
If Gom was looking for a different result they shouldn't have phrased the polls the way they did. You get the answer you actually asks for.

any of them are much better than the matchs except mvp vs squirtle and mma vs gumiho in the poll...what are you doing TL
I think GOM chose the poll options. also the mlg ones cant be choices because it's best game in GSL/GSTL

It's a GOM-poll and the matches in the poll are defined by GOMtv, not by TL
wow what? MVP vs Squirtle? You people must be bias af... MVP almost threw away games for Squirtle, MMA vs GuMiho's GSTL finals were much more exciting than MVP vs Squirtle.

Not really, for a single game... maybe, meh, but the Mvp vs Squirtle series was the most jaw dropping, epic, superb and beautiful thing I've ever seen in SC2.
The storylines, the gameplay, the incredible moments in that series (especially towards the end) were so spectacular that they definitely win it for me.
Also after MMA vs GuMiHo he turned SlayerS into a pile of ground up Terran, Zerg and Protoss.

I actually hated that game. It was really boring for a vast majority of it, and then 1 poor engagement with a unique unit composition ended it. I never got the hype.
I thought MVP's 2 rax in game 7 was far more tense and entertaining that that battlecruiser stuff. My vote went to Gumiho and MMA for best game.

It's hard to pick Gumiho vs MMA over the whole series of Mvp vs Squirtle. The poll doesn't specify which game so I think a lot of people including me think they're talking about the entire series.
I'm pretty sure more people watched the GSL finals than the GSTL finals, too. MMA vs GuMiho wouldn't have been seen live by as many people as Mvp vs Squirtle so that would definitely have an effect on the voting

Yeah, that game so many hail as "the greatest moment in SC2" is actually one of the reasons SC2 is terrible sometimes. I voted for that series because of game 7 as well.

hmm no, but i wouldn't havez voted for a team who got 5-1 5-2 multiple(?) times in GSTL and haven't provided any results, neither for a player who never made a round of 4 more than once and can be so awkward sometimes.

Yea how dare people vote for their *favorite* teams :| If liquid wins i hope nazgul shows up :D
Best match should be MMA vs Gumi, that was soooo tense and dramatic
best player… reason tells me that should be MVP, but i just hate him even im a terran so I chose parting, the only player that I like and still keep form( MMA\BOXER\NESTEA\DRG T_T)

favor team, Slayers !!!!
The poll is for favorite player and not best player.

If only he could have EMP-ed Squirtle Mothership, the fight could have turned out differently. Quite sad MVP didn't seen that Mamaship coming.
I still remember MVP clustered his BCs for just a second and Squirtle Mamaship came up from the high ground and vortex those BCs.
Then 3/3 BCs just melted to 3/3 Archons.
It was depressing to watch.T.T
Mvp did know about the mothership and according to the inteview, EMPing it was on his mind and he just misscontroled. Shows why vortex should probably be nerfed to death. Still a cool game in a great series though.

Not to derail the conversation, but if there was like a warning the vortex went off before it happened as opposed to being instantaneous it might be ok. Thinking like how nukes can be avoided, or comparing to something like Kog'Maws ultimate in LoL where you get something like a second to dodge. Just enough time to react somewhat.
Doesn't make the final battle any less epic. I mean that BC army was freaking amazing and Squirtle was JUST able to get a vortex mothership to flank in time. If MVP had gone for that base first it never would have happened. There were like 50 different ways that could have played out.
Honestly, that Vortex shenanigan was acceptable because Mvp won the series.
What if Squirtle had won that series and the BC/Vortex game was Game 7? I bet there would be a humongous shitstorm complaining about Vortex and how it nullifies army advantage and how Mvp totally outplayed Squirtle to get that beautiful army composition, only to lose it in a second due to broken Vortex.
It's all about perspective. I suppose we should thank Mvp for winning the series, because his victory (in my opinion) saved the series from being used as an example of imbalance (remember that this was when lategame PvT was considered to be waaay too strong for Terran to deal with).
How can you guys vote for TeamLiquid in the GSL tour.. they did nothing in GSTL and i feel that is what this is aimed towards.. Teams like FXO or even StarTale should be way higher in these votes...

Again, its favorite team rather then the best. Someone can vote for team liquid cause of their uniforms if they want.

favorite team IN THE GSL TOUR, though. Not which team is your favorite that also participated in the GSL tour, but which one was your favorite in the GSL tour.
There's a reason why favorite player has only 2% MMA fans, although there are WAY more many diehard MMA fans than that (including myself) -- because he fucking sucked shit in 2012 GSL, and MVP is way more deserving for the vote because he won and was in the finals out of 5 seasons, the other two being in ro16 - pretty fucking impressive.

Would you post the 4/5 other polls?
You still got 2/3 of our website's desired results. The only one that failed was the team poll.
Edit:
Also, 1100 voted for LG-IM.
If you consider the fact that most Korean teams wouldn't vote for a foreign team, it's only 300 votes to beat TL. So this poll may have given LG-IM the win.

I'm glad Vortex's there for that actually, because a super optimal terran army like that is just unbeatable. no zerg or protoss composition can win against what MVP had, unless miscontrol happen like that and he gets his army vortexed.
