I like EGTL's lineup against CJ Entus as a viewer. We are guaranteed a chance to see the two foreigners Huk and Thorzain play, and we get to see Jaedong and Taeja.

All good haha. I was doing it from Korean KeSPA site then someone pmed me the english link so that was a lot easier.
Strange that Sea doesn't get fielded and wasn't even with the team in the studio in week 1. Did he not make the submitted roster for Round 1? Would be nice to know what's up. After all, he was announced as playing for EG-TL in Proleague on the Liquid side.
Pretty rough match for EG-TL vs CJ - somehow JD managed to avoid ZvZ, his best MU by a mile, out of some sort of miracle, and the rest of the matches are generally good for CJ.
Khan vs EG-TL is breaking my heart because I'm obligated to root against Khan...;_;

You have between now and the first game on the 15th to make trades. Can't make a trade once matches start.

I think the question is can you trade during the week after the first 2 days(since unlike last week, each team plays twice since we go 4 days instead of 2). In that case then no, I'm pretty sure trades wont open again until after all four days.

Huh? The only unfavorable MU is JD vs Bbyong and possibly Huk vs herO
Taeja > Bong Huk < herO (He's supposedly really strong PvP, but we all know PvP is a wild card) Thorzain > Songduri (I'd favor Song, but its fucking arkanoid of all maps.) Hero > Hydra (CK, Immo/Sentry ezpz) JYP > Effort (Antiga, Immo/Sentry ezpz)
Even if JD/Huk/Thorzain all lose, it will go to ace, which is Ohana. Hero can probably take any of their Zergs on Ohana and even Bbyong in a PvT.

Same here LOL.
Feeling good bout SKTT1 this week, just traded CJ for them.
I'm going to demolish face in fantasy in this week. Two winnable games for my captain, Rolster playing Team 8 in their first match awwwwww yea. Taeja and HerO playing very advantageous games in their first match. Winning.
Main Team 3 Crazy-Hydra 6 Fantasy (captain) 5 JangBi 2 Sea 7 TaeJa 4 ZerO 3 Woongjin Stars
Anti Team 7 Stephano 3 Motive 3 Zenio
Thinking of dropping Sea for yeOngjae since hes actually seeing some use and might pick up a win in his second match (and has Boxer as a coach), plus I think SKT can win both matches. Zero is playing both Best and Flash so I'm not feeling it for him, might trade him as well...don't know who to get for him tho o_o and JangBi has Dear and TaeJa, JangBi hasnt shone good form so I might flip him for someone, Wooki actually looks like he has favorable matches this week
Jaehoon -> Stephano on my antiteam. He won't be playing this week for sure, and also probably won't be playing the next week since HSC ends on 22.12 which is next Saturday. If he goes to Korea straight after HSC, he may be playing in match on 25.12. - jetlagged, not prepared etc. Trade worth it, imo.
As for my main team, things looking good for Fantasy, hyvaa should do well (has 2 ZvZ while Effort who is the tough opponent has ZvP and ZvZ, hopefully hyvaa won't dissapoint), Flying has really tough matches in front of him, I hope he can beat soO (most probably not -.-) and then he should beat C-H who is also on my main team. C-H plays only Flying this week, he probably will lose, but what can I do.. There are only worse players available for trade. Bbyong plays JD and Trap, he should win at least one, hopefully both. Mind plays Jaehoon and hOn_sin, both on Arkanoid (he was also scheduled to play on Arkanoid in the EG-TL match), so he seems like a sniper for this map. Hopefully he has some good builds prepared.
Woongjin is playing SKT1 and KT for these two rounds. vs SKT1 it should come to Flying and Zero matches, if they take at least one of those, it should go to Ace match (where the probably lose). And vs KT it will once again probably come to Flying match - if he wins it will probably go into Ace again, where it depends on how good of a sniper they can prepare for Flash. As for a team, it doesn't seem likely they would win both matches, but if Flying doesn't disappoint, they should take both of them into ace match at least..
Overall, I hope I will do well this week (at least better than last one). At least I will have 0 points from my antiteam, since Bisu, Stephano and Mini are not playing in either match. A lot will depend on Flying performance, since I have him on my main team and also it seems to be mostly up to him to take WJS matches to Ace.

I did the Jangbi-Wooki trade and kept Zero (idk why, but something tells me Zero will have better long-term form than Jangbi). My other trade was to trade a 1-pointer for yeOngjae, since if his promotion to A-team lasts, he's bound to get at least one win, right? Keep ZerO. There is no one of equal value to him that is capable of winning the way he is. He's just had unfortunate matchups of late, but you don't want to trade him out and be stuck with losers when he starts winning and not be able to get him back. You could maybe trade out for JYP, but his matchups aren't much more favorable than ZerO's so that would be a dice roll.
I hate to say it , but EG - TL has a good chance against CJ this week . CJ playing not their best lineup with no Skyhigh or Snow in there and Effort and Hydra on the last maps . If Jaedong beats Bbyong i can see CJ losing .

I hope someone could do a docu about Bisu's transitioning and of why he's having a hard time discerning sc2.Of why Rain, somewhat his pupil in BW Era became the super ace of skt1. Of why Bisu turned out like a total noob.Seeing him not playing 2 schedules gave me a heartache. Lots of speculations and I hope it will not turn out to be a big surprise - seeing a RETIREMENT announcement.

Because it doesn't matter . If only Hero and Taeja wins , EG-TL will still lose . Better have all your players on the most favourable for them maps .

For Protoss I guess it will be turtle on 3 base until you're ready to bust the rocks. I don't see how drops or any kind of Protoss air play could work against Terran who will obviously be prepared on this map. For Zerg, well, you can still do OK with mutas even if your opponent prepares for it.

They've done changes to the map pool from round to round back during the BW Proleagues, so I would expect some changes during this SC2 Proleague. Also keep in mind that HotS will be coming out during the middle of the season, so that may come with some changes.

Implying Bang > TaeJa and SonGDuri > ThorZaiN
Taeja has been having problems in TvP lately (well, TvHerO specifically), it depends on good preparation and KeSPA teams have huge advantage still. Thorzain TvZ looked really bad last week so I doubt he can win unless he pulls off Polt. He's way too passive for the KeSPA guys.
Of course they have chance in Bo1 but it still small chance. It will take some time before the unholy alliance gains some momentum and gets used to the PL practice regime.

I agree to all these points (except herO was known for his PvP in PL, came out as Ace vs Rain).
BUT this is PL, where Kespa players get a 'buff' and other players get a 'nerf'. Maybe last week was a one time thing, but will be interesting to see how EG-TL will adjust.
Could be tough for EGTL, the other teams have scary line-ups as well and their currently probably best player HerO will have to prepare for the GSL Tour Finals. Theiy are also not fielding Sea at all who could really help with his experience on that stage. And in the last weeks HerO has shown exactly how to beat TaeJa so he might be easily sniped by other Protosses.

I agree. As a whole, CJ is probably favorite especially considering the fact that PL players have a lot of games to analyse from their opponent. But saying that EG-TL would be lucky to get 2 wins when we have no idea how good 2 of the 7 players are and no match-up where you can clearly call CJ the favorite is kinda retarded.
Oh yeah my anti is safe, one Skyhigh game, one vs Rain game and NO BISU played.
Main is also looking good, Fantasy playing twice, Flying having good matches, and RorO and Shine having good matches. Best of all yeOngJae plays TWICE! A FUCKING STEAL! GO CAPTAIN!
I just traded fONKINS for yeOngJae who seems incredible buy considering he's playing twice this week. Playing for SKT doesn't hurt either. Can't wait for weekend's matches!

Got both Flash and Fantasy on my team, and I can definitely see them winning. Poor Ryul2, though. They SHOULD win their other matches as well. KT should win vs Team8 too.
Trap is on my anti-team though... it worked out well last week since he lost both times he was sent out, but it's gonna be hard for Shine to take him out, I think.
Also free on my main team, going up against Rain. Not looking forward to that either, hah.
And what's up with Sea not being sent out for EG-TL? Might be better to trade him from my main team if he doesn't get to play at all.
Action +9 Actions value will only rise after this week and is probably the best option, so the chances to get him for as cheap as he is are slimming. KT will probably take both matches as well. I'd be banking on him having a big week.
Shine +4 Shine is a possibility if you want to go 1-1. He was miserable last week, but so was Trap, so he could possibly take that. However, I don't see him taking down JD in his best matchup on a map he gets to practice all week. Khan will also be going 1-1 at best.
Crazy-Hydra +3 He only gets one match this week and probably wont play it. I'd pass on him for Action considering they are on the same team.
Sacsri +2 Has no matches, easy pass. Points only come from T1 winning both their matches.
Calm +1 Here is another easy pass as he doesn't have a match this week either. Both of STX's matches will be close.
Ryul2 +0 He has Flash and Fantasy. That's almost as bad as having Hero and Bogus. T8 isn't going to win either. Pass.
ZerO +0 He is good, but I don't know what WJS is thinking giving a Zerg the most anti-zerg map 3x in a row. Until we see how the metagame on that map will develop, I will always put a Zerg at a disadvantage there. This potentially decreasing ZerO's value even more making him even cheaper next trade week. I also don't see WJS winning either of their matches this week, so you also won't get points for that.

Apparently they're trying to develop the newer players like Sin by sending them out more and having Light study the newer maps.
As for Bisu, he'll probably be played on a rotation basis with the other non-core players of the team.

I think Toss could do really well. Warpgate plus blink stalkers plus warp prisim plus collisi would make the rocks an almost none factor. You could easily circumvent them while getting an easy 3 bases. Seems pretty strong to me.

They might take two maps if they're lucky, probably from HerO if it even gets there vs CJ.
Ryul2 once against Flash, then against Fantasy. That won't be easy but he looked strong last week. BaBy should get both games and probably gain me some Ace match points again. Last vs sKyHigh should be great TvT.
Based on what exactly?
-JD didn't look too good against Hack but neither did Bbyong against Nestea. -We have no idea how good Bong is and he is up against Taeja -herO's PvP is not really impressive and it's Huk best match-up -We have no idea how good SonGDuri is -Effort has a ridiculously bad ZvP record and it's JYP's best match-up
herO's PvP is not impressive...? Based on your comments are you really a CJ fan? lol
Bbyong is pretty solid and herO basically won the Proleague for CJ last time, beating Rain twice in PvP.
Taeja will probably have to win in order to prevent a 4-0 sweep. And then the EGTL Protosses have a pretty good shot to make the ace match happen in the last two games.
Obvisouly Calm, Sacsri, Ryul2 are bad choices. Crazy-Hydra isn't that good of a pick either. However, I don't think that Action is clearly the best pick. First of all, there is no way that he gets +9 this week unless he plays an ace match which is highly unlikely. Furthermore, Action gets to play sHy, who is a beast and will most likely trash him completely. Also, Action's first match is in the 5. set and there is a chance that he won't even get to play it if hitman's all-in succeeds. KT is indeed favored in both their matches, though. Action's most likely earn this week is +5, although I wouldn't be surprised if he gets only +3. Of course neither ZerO nor Shine are in a great situtation either. However, both have a realistic chance for an individual win (vs best/vs trap) and a team win (vs SKT/vs STX and EGTL). I'd even say that Shine has somewhat of a chance to win both his matches. Not to mention that Shine might get yet another chance to play an ace match.
Action is a safe bet, but Shine has potential to earn more points. ZerO is probably a worse choice than the other two, but better than all the other options.
Any good suggestions if i should trade Last? I think he is going to lose against roro. But i'm not sure if reality, bbyong, skyhigh are good choices. reality vs. bogus -> not looking good for reality. bbyong vs jaedong -> i think he can win since jd wasnt that good in the last matches but its a risky move. skyhigh isnt playing

In my opinion you should either trade for bbyong or keep Last, I think STX is going to win both their matches this week so you have to take that into account when trading players. Ok so let's analyze this, bbyong is playing on Tal'Darim and depending on the spawn positions that can be pretty heavily Terran favored in TvZ. He's also going to play a TvP against Trap on Planet S, looking at TLPD Trap is 6-6 50% in PvT, while bbyong is 5-7 41.67%. These sample sizes aren't huge so you cannot take them as absolutes but I think Trap most likely wins that game, I haven't seen enough Planet S games to be able to judge map balance in TvP on it. In fact I don't think I've seen a single one.
For Last, he plays Roro on Arkanoid and a TvT against Skyhigh on Ohana. TLPD shows Last at 6-2 TvZ 75% and Roro at 10-4 ZvT 71.43%. Both of them are very good at the matchup if we look purely at the stats but if we look at the quality of opponents Roro has had tougher ones, he's also in Code S after beating Fantasy in a ZvT last night. Skyhigh is known as a TvT expert so he " should " be favored in that match, he had very few TvT games recorded on TLPD so It's hard to make a judgement from a 3-2 record. Since he was sent out on Ohana I don't think he was expecting a Terran opponent, more likely a Protoss. I think Last can win that but It's not guaranteed, maybe 45/55 in favor of skyhigh.
If you believe Last can go 2-0 I would keep him, if you think he will go 1-1 or 0-2 trade for bbyong. I think STX has a higher chance to win their series' but bbyong has a higher chance to win his actual games.
I believe this week we won't be able to make trades between the end of the second day at the start of the third day, there's 4 match days in a row so Skyhigh will actually play 1 game.

Thanks a lot! I've traded Last for bbyong. I hope he is going to win against JD but overall the chances should be much higher as you pointed out to score with him this week.
Edit: Just saw your edit but like i said i would agree that last's chances of winning both matches a very slim. So i'm going with bbyong.
Main Team Bbyong 0 Fantasy 4 Flash 4 Crazy-Hydra 2 Haruhi 1 Sea 0 Last 3 KT Rolster 8
Otherwise i think if a good oportunity comes up i'm going to trade fantasy. He really played weird last night. And i'm a little bit sad that crazy-hydra doesnt get to play
No english Proleague cast tomorrow as far as I'm aware. Hopefully the Korean streams work! I'll let people know if I find out otherwise.
Why is no one else worried about this? :/
There's nothing I can do to fix it. I'm hoping if I ignore it the problem will go away and an english caster will appear out of nowhere.

I deliberately held off on subscribing once doa said they would only be doing 2 casts. I'll def subscribe but only once there's more info.
Trading Ryul for Classic (both will probably come out with 0points but at least Classic got a shot)
Or trading Soo for either: HerO, Taeja or Fantasty. All 4 players look good in all their matches, both teams will win. In the end it comes down to who will be Aces.
herO(join) vs HerO on Ohana is a tough call, it's a 50/50 in my book. And it's not ever sure that HerO will be the Ace =/
Taeja on Arkanoid next week as Ace sounds good, then again Thorzain have already played there so maybe they put him in instead. (or any other Terran for that matter)
It's such a toss up, trade or let it be, trying to gain as many points as possible or play it safe...
Bleh that I can only pick one of the options, damn Zergs.

How is ZerO a better choice when you can get him at a steal next week after he loses value this week? Action earns 9 points if he wins both his matches.+4+4 then +1 for 3streak. It's a long shot, but he has the most earning potential there. You are also completely over estimating shine. He is winning one of his matches at best, and him appearing in ace only loses you points because he can't beat anyone's ace.

Shy is boasting a ~70% win rate in sc2 in over 30 games. Action played only 7 official games. Calling an action win in that match a "long shot" is already overly optimistic. I also wonder why you have so little faith in Shine's ability to win ace matches when Khan's coach clearly has a different opinion. Action's main advantage is that he currently has a much higher value than Shine and unless Shine performs greatly this will remain the case after those two playdays. Action is the safer bet, but if you want to do particularly well in FPL you should take chances and getting Shine is a chance that has decent potential to pay off.
edit: By the way, it might very well be that you won't be able to trade action for zero next week. They are very close by value right now, and a 4-0 KT sweep over T8, as well as a KT loss in a match might result in zerO having a higher value than action.
You are focusing wayyyyyy too much on the potential 4-0. The chances of that are slim to none. Hell, I'd say the chances of a 4-3 T8 victory are greater than a KT 4-0. As for shine, he lost to failhoon on the very same map that he plays trap on. I'd say trap is better, but I'm being extremely generous by giving shine the win there. Then Shine plays JD on a map JD has been practicing all week in JD's best matchup. I'd be willing to bet my car that JD wins that. So, best case scenario, shine earns you +4.1 point less than action if he loses against shy. worst case, he earns you +1. So, please tell me how that is the better bet than action who should earn you +5 regardless and could possibly earn you +9 if he pulls a rabbit out of his hat against shy?

So much for zerO getting 0 points this week... Action and KT did as expected, but the 4-0 for KT was by no means out of reach. We won't be able to tell who was the best pick until Tuesday, but I still feel like it's not fair to claim that Action was the undisputedly best choice.

He will start playing in Round 2 which starts in January. He is not in Korea at the moment as he still has tournament commitments in Europe (Numericable Cup in France and HomeStory Cup VI in Germany).

It's disappointing how EGTL is always the last team to play, I guess it's genius though, considering it'll hold a larger audience for the rest of the broadcast. I just wish they had a VOD system that I could utilize to avoid spoilers
