also this is great for golden. dude has tons of personality and has a lot of skill. he should improve a lot under startale and could be a gsl player very soon.
I've enjoyed watching Golden play in a lot of NA events like MLG, and it'll be interesting to see how much the Startale training environment improves his play. This is cool.
Hell yeah! Congrats Golden! I started following him right before he left Light. Glad he has made his way onto Startale. I think it will benefit him a lot. Always happy to see a new Startale member <3
The StarTaleQuantic relationship probably had something to do with this, he knew ST people. Good for Golden though, he has a lot of potential in a top-tier Korean team.
alright!!!!!!!! congrats to golden...he's my favorite underrated player...hopefully being in ST can get him much much farther and recognition for his amazing play
It's good to see that one of the teams initially responsible for blacklisting SlayerS and former SlayerS players in practice matches is atoning, bringing in a former SlayerS player.
Did he already live in the StarTale team house because of the Quantic affiliation or is this the first time in over a year since leaving SlayerS that he'll be permanently living at a Korean team house again?
Congratz Golden!
조명환 @ST_Golden i joined Startale ! please keep cheering :D and we can meet very soon, in Katowice for IEM <3 6:31 PM - 6 Jan 13 · Details

It's because all the foreign money has dried up, not that there was a lot in the first place. Good luck finding a foreign team willing to pay you anything with Hyun/Symbol/Polt/Parting on the market.

Startale didn't make Life. He would have exploded onto the scene had he stayed in Zenex. Startale might have helped, but by no ,means were they the catalyst.

they were, Life had potential since 2011, but startale made him practice, in zenex he had no practice whatsoever
he probably wouldve bloomed in any team with a good practice schedule, zenex coach is known for being good at picking eventual star players (byun, genius, coca, puzzle, Life etc.), since hes in startale now and golden is a player he picked there is a chance he will become a code S level player as well
This makes me feel a little better about Parting leaving. Does this mean that with Life and Curious already there, Startale is trying to take the zerg throne from the now defunct TSL?

Yep. His unemployment period is relatively short because of his awesome personality, deep involvement with his teams, and last but not least, great play.
YES! The only trouble is that I was already becoming unsure about whether I wanted SKT T1, Woongjin Stars or IM as my listed favourite team but I always liked Startale and this is one more thing to make me favour them. :S
