The uniform still has the big LG logo in front, in addition to ASRock's label on the side.

Yeah what's on the back of their shirts? Well arms aren't bad for the camera shots we get of in booth players. At the end of the day the best thing they can do for sponsors is something like what they do for LG. Help advertise their shit more. LG might be the only sponsor I've seen for ESF Korean teams at least that seems to have properly used their sponsorship powers.

Things that they COULD do Adverts for ultrabooks that LG produces, in similar vein that BoxeR did for intel (though I know nobody on IM is insanely famous) Cell Phone adverts and TV adverts where they appear in a small role. Sponsorship events where LG use IM to plug their shit. They signed the deal after the LG 3D Expo that happened in Lotte Department store in Seoul, why haven't they been used since? It's not what the sponsor can do for you, it's what you can do for your sponsor. But grats on the ASrock sponsorship! I hope some of the money is funneled to the SC team as well as the LoL team. In fact, IIRC that long haired LoL player has been advertising a game on OGN quite a bit....

If JD returns after his time on EG, then maybe sponsors will come back.

(Not so Biostar, ECS, and up till this point Asrock. Am I missing any brands or sponsorship efforts?) That said, as I noted above, welcome to esports Asrock.

They seem to consistently have motherboards at low prices, and those boards are almost always surprisingly high-quality.

I mean, I had a super expensive DFI mainboard which caught fire after 6 months, a Gigabyte mainboard which has caused me nothing but trouble (it still works after 2 years but the temperature sensors are bust, CPU specs are not detected properly and the memory timings are all over the place) and then I have a 7 years old ASRock (with an PCIe and an AGP slot) which still works. I always thought that the fact the the mobo still works is a freak accident but now I might have to reconsider. Next mobo? ASRock for sure. Asrock boards are extremely good boards, especially for their price. I currently am using one for my computer, and plan on using them in the future. They OC well, and I their bio's are pretty good. Them sponsoring IM is icing on the cake for me, but hopefully this helps asrock sell more awesome mobo's and IM have more security other than (seemingly) relying on just LG.

i was actually seriously considering an Asrock board for my current sandy bridge build (i7-2700k). i dont remember the exact reason why, but i ended up going with an msi board. im skipping ivy bridge, and will prly get a haswell cpu/mobo upgrade. ill 99% sure get an Asrock board for it. IM is one of my favorite teams, and it certainly helps that the reputability/quality of Asrock boards seemed to have grown quite a bit. when i was doing my research for my build, i was surprised by how many people were rocking asrock boards.
