In all likelihood, this is not Titan, SC: Ghost, or anything like this. Opened a month before HOTS? Yeah, it's obviously a teaser website, like "Join the Dominon" was for WOL.
I thought this first might be the Umojan's treating Kerrigan, but now I will bet a lot that this "Project" takes place on Skygeirr, which is a Hybrid Lab. Alternatively, it's the Immortal Forge.

Some of you might remember the exterior from Blizzcon.
I think this is pretty cool. It's short on details, yet it's obvious what's going on.

@CwnAnnwn your explanation sounds quite reasonable. But why would the scientist team have a protoss specialist? If it's about Kerrigan then supposedly she's being studied and treated after WoL ending, no idea why would you need someone who works on the protoss. She is psionic..but she's been already as a human.
I guess it's some xelnaga research facility. Though I'm pretty sure all of Jack's paintings will be shown(starting from larva up to whatever the last one is...ultralisk?) The number of pictures correspond with the number of scheduled weeks as well, I believe.

It's simple Andr3, the Mobius Foundation is a front for the Dark Voice. Their goal is to bring about hybrids etc. having kerrigan as a speciman to research would be invaluable to further research on making hybrids. Maybe even Terran/Zerg Hybdrids not just Zerg/Protoss. So yeah makes sense to me.
|
But didn't Kerrigan just "escape" with the help of Jim and the gang from Narud's research facility? (where she was already experimented upon)
Makes no sense that she gets captured again as a test specimen.

EDIT: to clarify, I kinda think Kerrigan is a part of this Project Blackstone but no ties with Narud/Dark Voice/Hybrids Blizzard would just put her in the same spot as she was in the book, which sounds lame.

Got in there, nothing much exciting for now but I have to say it raised my curiosity

This should be added to OP, very cool read.

I haven't read flashpoint mate, so I cant comment on how it fits or doens't fit with that story. The pieces still all fit together with the released information so take from my explanation what you will.
EDIT:
Can't wait to see if my theory holds up or not. Only have to wait and see!

Kerrigan is not in there, she's on Umoja. This is a Hybrid lab, that's why they need Protoss. Read my post on top of this page.

All this hype has me ancy :D

or maybe they are in the process of re-enacting kerrigan's escape.

The adjutant on Twitter makes a lot of references to docking bays, gravity control systems, and life support systems, which sounds like the Skygeirr orbital station from Blizzcon. Dante's got it, I think.
|
The story is shockingly similar to a few of the Aliens novels (Nightmare Asylum, Labyrinth, Rogue), which Starcraft is self-admittedly based off of.
I'm really hoping for an "experiment gone wrong" space station infection level. Actually, I'd totally cream my jeans for a few of those in HotS.

Mysterious. Starcraft: Ghost after all these years? World of Starcraft? Or just some Heart of the Swarm marketing?
|
is this adjutant the one kerrigan gets ? xp

Loving this, many cheers for the guy that storified the tweets, made reading everything so much easier!

Of course I do.
Here is a very short summary of what's pertinent to this from Flashpoint, which will make things a bit easier to understand:
+ Show Spoiler +After rescuing Kerrigan on Char, Raynor, Valerian and the rest of the Raiders take off to Deadman's Port, with Mengsk right behind them. Once there, they meet up with Narud, who works with Valerian. Raynor's bartender, Cooper, betrays them, and the merceneries there nearly have them captured, but with the help of Mira Han, they escape. Narud wants to take Kerrigan to a Moebius lab, but she is reluctant. She caves in eventually.
Once there, she is put in a lab. But Narud betrays them. It is revealed that he is working with Mengsk, who still wants Kerrigan dead. Raynor and Valerian evade capture, and Mengsk opens fire on the docked Hyperion, with Cooper seizing the opportunity to escape to his employer. Kerrigan senses something is wrong from her lab, and kills a ghost sent to assassinate her. She starts to regain her strength, killing Hybrids that Narud sends after them. They all escape. Now Narud is with Mengsk.
Valerian proposes they go to Umoja. Having accidentially killed Annabelle (one of the female Hyperion crew members, whom you can spot in WOL), Kerrigan agrees that she needs to be studied. The book ends on Umoja, with Kerrigan alone in her chamber, swearing revenge on Mengsk.
The HOTS opening cinematic begins there. The lab Kerrigan is in is on Umoja.
This is why I am so certain Blackstone and Kerrigan is not directly related. The scientists in Project Blackstone are going to be working on Hybrids.
