Can't find any. I'm using the new version of twitch. When I click on videos on the top right. There are none.
what the fuck, I clicked on your stream thinking "yeah how could he possibly... wait is he actually? WTF", gratz man, dont know how you did it, I would never use it but woaw that was impressive control ahah
This is insane, I could never do this lol. Also that day9 daily was hilarious haha, day9 should totally do this as a daily . EDIT: Just needed to add that this guy has top 5 control with a controller.

I am deeply impressed but still think mouse + keyboard is inferior!
but still awesome!
That is literally only a matter of getting used to it, I played console fps for about 8 years and a lot of pc fps as well and I don't really notice a difference in aim when switching between the two, the hole fps only works with m/k is just a myth created by fps pc players who tried to use controller a few times and failed, it literally takes years to get good with a controller. Also the hole "but console fps have aim assist" thing is bs as well, there h ave been console fps like halo 1 or shadowrun with no aim assist and people were able to achieve perfect aim in those as well, only modern titles like cod or battlefield use lots of aim assist.
While I have played some rts on consoles before, and especially halo wars did an amazing job with the controller layout, what you do with your stream is amazing. I watched it for a bit and if it wasn't for the cam in the corner showing you using the controller, I wouldn't have noticed much of a difference from a regular mouse/keyboard player. I played some rpgs on the pc that don't support controller using one and using the analog stick as a mouse is hard as fuck, so mad propes to you for hitting such a high level in a game like star 2 using it, definitely one of my favorite streams to watch now!
Also if you want to you can just sent me your xpadder file and I can write down in this thread how you mapped it out.
Come on... Don't overestimate too much the pad. Try Playing painkiller / q3 / quakelive with a pad. I bet my life you wouldn't even kill rafa in a thousand years. :/
All of these games include strafe jumping which is obviously impossible to do with a gamepad... But even if I'd play any of those games in a shitty console port against rapha I'd probably kill him just based off of him sucking with a gamepad. I don't say if console and pc players would play a quake esk game against each other the console guy would stand much of a chance (though in the case of shadowrun pc and console players could play with each other and I never felt like either had an advantage, BUT shadowrun was made with console controlls in mind, no quake like game is and due to strafejumping being impossible with a gamepad it never will). Arena FPS is a very special topic and I could talk to you for about 2 hours how Bungie tried to make it work on a console and what things they changed to do so, but obviously you can't just take a game that is build with using a keyboard and a mouse in mind and tell me I should kill a progamer in it using a gamepad...
PC FPS and console FPS are completely different genres. It's so cute when CoD players talk about 1.6 players like we're playing the same genre.
*EDIT* In order to not derail the thread, awesome job man, I'm blown away. Especially as a keyboard/mouse elitist...

Despite the obvious resistance in this thread, I welcome the idea of a decent SC2 port. Anything that increases the playerbase will increase the viewship, injecting more money and viewers into our beloved esport. As much as some of us might hate it, legions of xbox kiddies would be *great* for Starcraft.

Understandable resistance. I would imagine you would need to keep ladders seperate, ie PC has its own and xBox does as well, if memory serves Microsoft tried combining with an FPS or two and it didn't go too well all things considered. Could be fun to see.
I wonder what day9 would think about this XD, Is there any reliable way of contacting him ?. I'll start streaming in about like two hours for those of you interested. Gotta compose some stuff and write people back, The about of support I'm getting so fast is incredible. I'm forever humbled by you guys, thank you so much

I remember seeing someone playing SCII 2v2s with an Xbox controller...was it you? Anyways, I'm glad to see you're doing great; I hope other people can replicate that success and maybe even make RTS on consoles playable.
