TL Attack 2013 Episode 3 will happen on Wednesday, Feb 27 8:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00), a mere two days from today. VODs will be made available following the broadcast.
For the third episode of 2013’s edition of TL Attack our guest will be Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen. One of the most popular players around, he recently had a short stay in Korea where he participated in Up & Down matches. He’s also Dutch and a Protoss, just like our fearless leader Liquid`Nazgul. We should probably mention he’s also won about a hundred million WarCraft III tournaments in case you weren’t aware.
The concentration of a champion.
In case you missed the previous episode with EG.DeMusliM, the VODs are up on our YouTube Channel.
Hosts
As usual our hosts will be the wonderful EG.iNcontroL and the fantastic ROOT.CatZ. Last episode DeMusliM beat people over the head with hellbats and reapers repeatedly, this time we’ll be seeing a Protoss take on all comers. Maybe we’ll travel to the land of Megaton Extreme (if we can get it published).
ROOT.CatZ EG.iNcontroL
Do you want to play?
OK so do you want to play against the special guest on the show, in front of potentially millions of tenths of hundreds of thousands of viewers? Here's your chance: create a cheerful in true TL Attack spirit using this template:
You can put anything you want on it, about any subject (the players, host, show, TL, ESPORTS in general, etc) and we'll even show it on stream before you play your match. Just post your cheerful in this thread with your battle.net ID (character + code) and we'll invite the winners during the show, so make sure to watch.
With the release of Heart of the Swarm coming up this show will be entirely in the HotS beta, so now would be a good time to study up on the best new cheeses in the expansion.
Come back Wednesday for the exciting continuation of TL Attack!
TeamLiquid Attack! is a fun, casual event where a popular professional StarCraft 2 player plays custom 1v1s against community members. Typically, the player attempts creative or non-serious strategies while sharing friendly banter with the hosts. The show is a great way to get to know the personality of the popular player that might not normally be seen in serious ladder games or in tournaments.
Previous episodes of TL Attack can be found on TeamLiquid's YouTube Channel, featuring guests like NaNiwa, MorroW, White-Ra, Qxc, and Sheth.
So excited for this! Unfortunately it's going on right while I have an exam so I can't even try to watch it in class, but I'll be watching the VODs asap!
Can't understand why TL won't release a version of the cheerful that is actually useful (Like a .psd with the TL ATTACK thing in a separate layer). Damn annoying to try to do anything where you have to manually fix so it doesn't ruin the logo.
So, here it goes: I'm a huge fan of Grubby. His approach to the game is awesome and I wish more pro gamers were just like him, interacting with the viewers, crushing IdrA on the ladder and always good manners.
I made this and I reaally hope to be picked... if Grubby dares to face me!
I hope they stick to choosing players based on these cheerfuls. Last time Incontrol kept insisting on making channels, and only 2 cheerful people ended up getting picked.

You can search all you want cause there is none, yet. Read back a page.

He's referring to the fact the twitch channel isn't in the OP. I googled "twitch tl attack" to find the channel, which ideally I shouldn't have to.

It will be on two sidebars when it's live. iNcontroL posted a page ago that they will be live soon. Hence he's not going to miss anything.
I know this, but some people want to go there ahead of time, there's nothing wrong with that. It's so easy to include a link in the OP, there's not really a reason so critical that would make anybody think "whoa, man. they're right! good thing the twich channel isn't there"
But that's just me talking, of course I don't really care, it doesn't make a difference either way.

Never faced pure stargate, and I don't even main zerg. FORGIVE ME.

You were a worthy victim for the grubbster - and we were entertained. So you are forgiven :D
Yay - I was also the first guy to play vs Morrow, when he did that turret pushing, mass hellbats into mass widow mine shenanigans, people seemed to enjoy that game
I'm finding it entertaining except for the main host being a jerk to Grubby. Not only is he annoying, but pronouncing Grubby's last name like Hitler is not funny.

Haha, I got mindgamed so hard I scouted his sentries and thought that he had mass sentries as handicap, then he shows up with a shitload of units and I figured the robo units were hallu (that's why I used the time warp on the stalkers) and then EVERYTHING was hallu :p
In the second engagement I had scouted a robo so I had nooo idea if they like abandoned the handicap and just went "go kill him."
So... I'm currently 0 - 1 Grubby. Our bo3 is only 1/3 done.

Grubby just paused the game because he had to stop everything to defend the movie Spanglish. I am on the floor dying with laughter. Please get Grubby on every few months or something.
Was having such a good time until that that stupid joke. Took the light heartiness out of it, but Grubby and the hosts are doing well to revive it again.
People must be really sheltered to actually be so bothered about that joke. It was a cringe moment but not as big a deal as people are trying to make it.

Awesome job guys. I think it's the one I enjoyed the most, though I did love the Sheth one just because he kept losing, haha. It was endearing. But yeah, this one was great, and over way too quickly it felt like.
Is there no way to watch the teamliquid attack episode from today? The videos tab on their twitch channel is disabled and who knows how long the youtube upload will take.. Will i just have to wait?
EDIT: Not trying to sound like an ungrateful whiner, just always busy during the day, and would of loved to watch it tonight. I'll survive either way
So funny to finally see your own match against the grubbster :D
My theory was that he had to win with mass sentries so I suspected that a lot of the first army was halluc (That's why I threw the time warp against the stalkers and not the rest, I was not sure about the stalkers) and was quite confident that the second army also was halluc (So I tried to focus fire sentries). Guess I was wrong :D
Great episode, probably my favorite one so far. 2 hours went in a blink of an eye. Great chemistry between everyone and the laughs kept on coming. Hot Bid should be a permanent caster.
YES!!!!! was woundering when TL attack was coming whit E3, This is gonna be so fun to watch again. Is there a subscribe channel that I can get to get notified?
