But nope, apparently if you attack move 27 carriers with 204 3/3/3 interceptors into 33 spore crawlers (he had a ton of spinecrawlers too) a bunch of queens and 10 corruptors you lose ALL 204 INTERCEPTORS and end up in game with 16 carriers with 4 interceptors left lol. So then i ended up with 1 colossus and some high templars (and a few cannons) where i'd micro the colossus forward in an attempt to kill a spore/spine. The zerg would then heal it with the queens and move them forward to try and shoot the colossus ... at which point id try and feedback/storm the queens. Then i'd lose shields on the colossus and have to pull back the colossus behind the cannons to regen shields. It was a war of attrition which i would have eventually won as i kept getting a spore or a spine and every now and again i'd kill a queen. My opponent ended up leaving the game he had to sleep. Here is a picture. http://i.imgur.com/alDqGML.jpg A picture after the engagement http://i.imgur.com/2pltMqK.jpg I ended up long distance mining that mineral patch in the 3 O'clock position to get more high templars. In the past i was critical of the tempest but that game was a definite opinion changer. I did know that there were a number of points earlier in the game i could have played better and won, but It was about a week to go till Hots and i just couldn't bring myself to hit the find match button again in wings after that lol. But i learned 2 important things that day: 1: Never go full carrier. 2: I wish i had a tempest.

I opened with a 1Rax FE, dual ebay, and pushed out at 2-2. I lost my army to mutalingbling, he then stormed my main and started killing my infrastructure. I had some barracks at my 3rd so I was able to defend there and do some damage via drops. An hour later I had basically relocated to the other side of the map and switched to a more mech heavy composition. I should have lost but the Zerg didn't expand enough and didn't transition into T3 units. The outcome did elicit some rage from my opponent who insisted he should have killed me earlier and I agreed lol
