As long as foreigners are way worse than the Koreans, i dont care who is the best of these 2nd class players. dont get me wrong, i am a real nani fan since his beginnings in warcraft 3. just because your team is on 2nd division you will not care about who is leading the tournament?

Nani is a good player, he was one of the players who could give koreans a run for their money. and that's it. there were others like this too, and stephano was a tier above.

For the same reason people watch March Madness and college football. They like the teams and players. Being a fan had very little to do with who the best players in the world are.

I think you are forgetting how Naniwa and Stephano are the handful of foreigners who consistently have beaten Code S Koreans before. Note: HuK is 2011, so he doesn't count anymore.

Shut it with your logic and valid reasoning!!!!! You should only care about the best player in the world. At that moment. Only them, until the next one. All other players are ants, crawl at your feet, begging for your attention.

You describe my thoughts perfectly. NaNi's overrated, both positively and negatively, and yeah, he can be the best in Sweden, but that doesn't make him a code S player or anything. On the Nani vs Stephano thing, it's stupid, but even if it wasn't: Stephano's been top for quite a while longer, while also achieving more. I to be honest respect the ''no preparation, I'll just play and improvise'' way more than the giant studies some people (and I suppose NaNi too) do on other players.

I know he wont win code s but still. hes right there with the big dawgz. good enough for me to call him ''relevant'' but yeah I wish nani got on a good team and that we see him more. the guy took some games from God at MLG. Means hes pretty good. His lack of social skills just make him funnier imo :D ( like funnier than Idra who thinks hes a bawss but isnt at all )

Wow this thread really spiraled and it looks like we're getting the same old arguments. Let's look at Clan Wars in WGTour shall we? No one really cared how division 2a/2b and down were doing other than the teams trying to make it to division 1. Sure there was news updates, but everyone in the community had their eyes on division 1. In certain circumstances, yes people only care about the majors because that is what everyone aspires/looks to.
