EDIT: He goes to a school called "digitech highschool" where a lot of pro gamers attend and curriculum is quite different (prob less demanding) This isnt just pro gamers, a lot of students in sports teams get to graduate from high school even though they rarely attend classes.

In the US unless you drop out you have to attend every day or you can end up in court facing legal charges. Hmm. I would guess that even in the US there're some students who focus more on sports who would be able to get time off to attend sporting events or train for them or something? Probably the same for Life, considering that eSports seems to be quite the Korean thing

I don't know what high school is like in Korea, but here in Toronto, Canada, I don't think you can go to high school when you're 20 or 21. You gotta go to adult/night school... To skip school to "play" SC2 is just bad. Maybe if his situation was like Polt and he had time to do both, or like even most progamers where they delay their university studies, it would be fine. But skipping high school is just a no no imo. However I guess the same could be said for Kpop idols too... Korea... *sigh* My dad grew up in Ontario. He dropped out of school and left home shortly before turning 15. Now he's a successful lawyer. Incidentally, Starcraft players generally graduate high school at the normal time. Life not only will be able to graduate just fine, but will have far more money and opportunity than the vast majority of others his age.
