The qualifiers for the WCS America and Europe Challenger Leagues have concluded with eight players qualifying in each region.
In Europe, StarDust, BlinG, San, Genius, ShoWTimE, Starbuck, AlaStOr, and TargA were the eight players to make it through. Notably, no Terrans made it through the qualifiers, while two Korean Protosses playing from Korea were able to overcome the cross-region lag to qualify as well.
In the American region, Arthur, Hack, Sound, HyuN, Center, ByuL, SeleCT, and Heart earned spots in the Challenger League, completing a Korean sweep of the qualifiers (although some choose to categorize SeleCT as American). Though a handful of KeSPA players also competed in the WCS AM qualifiers, none of them were able to make it through.

Love going to stay up all night to watch Koreans play in WCS NA, because they want to avoid GSL/OSL.
On a plus note, there's 9 NA players in premier league, so at least 9 will be in WCS season 3.

Go Korea!

Koreans definitely made the American competition look like a joke.. NA talent needs to be grown more to keep ourselves more competitive.
American teams really need to stop focusing on acquiring the correct korean talent and go back to just finding talent.

Can't you chalk up Select as a win?

SeleCt definitely counts as American... he hasn't trained in korea for the vast majority of SC2.

What people don't seem to realize is how many players have already quit SC2, including some former solid NA players that were there. NA isn't going to become any better, in regards to the number of skilled players. Maybe one or two might reach a level of being able to beat some lesser Koreans (in tournaments), but yeah...
