tbh I wouldn't be surprised with either Welmu, Grubby, MC or Duckdeok
edit: However I don't think it's Welmu because they strongly anticipated that the player would reach the end of the tournament (with the original announcement date) and Welmu was never a favorite for this tournament.

Not that it's necessarily needed for the player to be present at GamesCom during the announcement, but Grubby's already gone back home, unless his wife left him behind.

Well Ranged also just stated it's not Welmu and Scarlett also basically said it's not him on reddit, because everybody thought it was him.

I wouldn't expect Grubby to be back on an actual team any time soon, if ever. I'm sure he's doing quite well for himself as it is, I doubt even a "life changing salary" that IdrA/HuK used to have in 2011 would make him reconsider.
And I don't expect MC to be leaving SK any time soon either, unless they decide to completely abandon SC2 (in which case there would probably be rumors floating around)

Acer have said that their soon-to-be player did not reach Ro8.

Polt maybe? Duckdeok or MC seems possibility, but it is unrealistic.

Still irrelevant. They said he didn't reach Ro8.
Although it makes Acer.Maru all the more likely.

Welmu is the most obvious answer. But i would like to see Innovation improved by Acer's technology.

it's either duckdeok or welmu

I know, maybe my post wasn't clear.

If we go by Scarlett's comment, it's a "new star" that didn't make it into the Ro8 in the WCS finals. Up to that point it's not been said that this player even participated in the WCS World Finals, right? But under that assumption, new star can only really refer to Maru duckdeok Innovation Welmu (if we don't take the new to seriously in every regard... all of them have been around for a long time; but they haven't been thaaat successful previously)
I'm going with Maru. Champions leave Prime.

Yeah honestly the only player that seems more likely than Maru would be finale.
And if it is Maru, we can probably expect Prime to disband very shortly. :/

Well, lets make a change.. I'll go with elfi!

Why do people still call him finale lol Is it tyring to show that you're hipster fan that knows his old IDs? There's really no reason to lol
With that said, 99% sure it's duckdeok tbh

Scarlett and RaNgEd both confirmed it's not Welmu.

I don't know man, they've always had either someone doing well in individual leagues (MarineKing, Polt, ByuN, Creator, now Maru) or they did well in GSTL. And now they won't have any of that if Maru leaves.
