Anyone not french : Acer is getting Innovation, wow, cool ! Now they just need a good protoss ! Any french guy : Pomf & Thud want Innovation really bad for the next Iron Squid, and they get him as Kaoru (Acer's manager) is one of the most important personn of the Ogaming Crew and one of the most influent figure in France. P&T know it would have been too hard to get Innovation directly from the Kespa because of the barrier of language and the barbed wire Kespa put around their players. I'm not surprised that Iron Squid want him.

I don't like the way Slasher seems to write these articles on a whim and simply reiterate extant rumours. No doubt he does actually have sources that will tell him stuff, but why is he never able to articulate what he's learned and combine it with intelligent analysis of the extant situation or previous situation? A valid and hard-working journalist would have written an article that didn't just state things already said in public by other sources, but actually cross referenced them and formed a new conclusion or an affirmed conclusion out of them. For example, the evidence from the hints alone given via Scarlett and AcerEsports twitter, would have gleaned the following once the teaser tweets were out: What We Know So Far: 1 - They're getting a new player 2 - Knocked out before the RO8 in WCS Finals. - This leaves MC, Welmu, Grubby, Polt, duckdeok, INnoVation, Maru, or MMA. 3 - Can't be MMA, since he's already on Acer. 4 - New Player is Terran. This leaves Maru, Polt, or Innovation. 5 - This image shows the new player's silhouette with the other players on the team - It can't be Maru, since he's nowhere near as tall as the person in the photo. This leaves Polt or INnoVation. - This holds true even if the photo is photoshopped, as Maru's height is a very obvious tell, whereas people may be lenient with Polt or Innovation's height. 6 - The link says the players team wishes to keep things secret until such time as the player actually switches from one team to the other - this eliminates Polt, as he recieves a personal sponsorship, rather than being on a team contract. This leaves one possible conclusion The new Acer player is INnoVation. He could have pulled this together in his article by pointing out that his sources confirmed a player that fit with all the available teaser evidence. He could even have qualified the situation's parallel to earlier signings by other teams where the new player was hinted at significantly before the actual announcement, or other teams parodical approach to such, for example EG's willingness to play to the crowd with the signing video about EG Stephano. Slasher did none of this, and as a result his entire article could have been shortened to "Someone told me Innovation is the new Acer player - By the way, STX seem unhappy that Acer have been teasing this so heavily before the transfer took place, and btw neither team would actually talk to me before I wrote this article". Then he has the balls to post it both on gamespot, here, and on r/starcraft, with a title that suggests he obtained an outright, public confirmation, rather than his anonymous "source". I don't doubt he's correct, but simply being correct about something this obvious doesn't make someone a good journalist. Not to mention, isn't Slasher's job to write for gamespot and thus drive exposure to their website and articles? I respect that he's (Finally) linked their site from his r/starcraft and teamliquid posts, but can I suggest this is some small concession to the fact that in the past he has submitted many of his news stories to reddit via the medium of a direct twitter link, thereby driving zero traffic to the website that ostensibly pays his bills? Slasher, shape up, you and others besides, know that right now, you're relying on article titles much more than actual content, to drive people to read your articles, be they gamespot or anywhere else.
