Translated text: Hello everyone! I am the player Sen from team Gamabears. First of all, I want to thank the fans of Gamabears for always supporting me. My work with Gamabears for the past two years has been very happy. From the first team fight until today I have always fought for gamabears. All of these memories will be fresh in my mind.
But because of oncoming career planning, I will not be re-signing with Gamabears. I will announce my plans very soon with everyone.
Gamabears' translated message: thank you sen for sticking this long with Gamabears, we will always remember you. You were on the stage defeating Korean skill with elegance. You were a funny guy. You were confident. You were powerful. In the future... No matter where you go, We hope you are capable of fulfilling your wishes. Give a huge hand for our Starcraft 2 World Champion. [I think they say this because Sen is best renowned as finishing as the best Non-Korean competitor at the 2012 Battle.net World Championships]
Sen's leaving, even though we don't want to let go, but what's more is we are blessed, and we want everyone to wish the best for Sen.
Since this short time, Gamabears has experienced many challenges, we also thank all of our fans for boosting our morale and for the feedback they have given us. Everyone's voice has been heard, we now ask for everyone's trust! We will not forget our dreams that we've had since the beginning of forming a formidable pro team. We will adjust ourselves step by step, striving forward, in the stage of eSports, to continue shining brightly!
my own thoughts: Flash Wolves could use the best zerg in Taiwan. They reformed and are sponsored by the yoe Television network which broadcasts TeSL.

Actually, Sen has been the last remaining player on Gamabears for SC2 for about at least a couple of months now. The company, Gamania, has been going through some changes. I can't be sure what they are doing, but something tells me that their reasons for doing this could be internal and financial. They are a game company, but they don't make games that are popular and mainstream in the USA and Europe.
Oh, how sad Sen's definitely one of the best foreigners, or at least has been for much of SC2 (and probably 1 I guess), so I really hope he can get a team soon. Same team as San would just be imba though, haha
TT Had the GammaBears as my icon in LoL and now I'm not gonna be able to go back to it. I have fond memories of watching Sen's stream back in the early days of WoL and I really hope he finds a new team/home. Go Sen!

You mean same team as me? I'm the caster for flash wolves, which San joined

ah, so that's why you suggested Sen to go to Flash Wolves Well, we'll see where he goes, and I hope he's happy with where he ends up!

Wait isnt that kartrider, made by the same company that made maplestory? Im sure i played this game before and it was made by them. I guess maybe they are running the local taiwan version of it. Sad for sen, but I don't really know any other players from taiwan, hope he gets picked up.

They also dropped their LoL team which placed 5-8th at the World Finals. They were picked up by Yoe Flash Wolves, who seemingly have a huge budget, having four of the best players in Taiwan (apart from Sen), as well as San and they will also participate in an American offline tournament in the coming weeks. I think Sen will either join them, or else Fnatic might re-sign him, but it won't be easy for Fnatic to match Flash Wolves' offer I think.

Wait, what? the offline event, which game is that for? SC2 or LoL? How did I not know about this sooner? I'm their caster. They call me yoeFWBreAKer.

easily top 10 foreigner, maybe top 5
You'd still rate him that high? It's so hard to tell as ever since he joined Gamania his appearances outside of Taiwan have been very limited. Aside from his impressive season 2 challenger league run his WCS results were pretty mediocre.

I am in full agreement. The chance to see Sen play more often would be amazing

I'm willing to guess that SK Gaming or Acer would sign him if he doesn't decide to stay in Taiwan. Or I'd like to see a Chinese team like DK or World Elite sign him.
Sen's always been a force to be reckoned with, but can't seem to get over the (quite major) hump of taking on top tier Koreans. I hope that if he continues playing he joins a team outside Taiwan and feels compelled to participate in more leagues and tournaments abroad, like when he was on Fnatic in the past, though I can see Yoe Flash Wolves picking him up realistically. Maybe San can help him with ZvP.
Hey, that game doesn't look that bad. It looks like a better Mario Kart!
On-topic, I'm quite interested to see what team (foreign?) picks him up. He has that foreigner vibe, coming from Taiwan and all, but has the skill of a Korean!
We hope you are capable of fulfilling your wishes. Give a huge hand for our Starcraft 2 World Champion. [I think they say this because Sen is best renowned as finishing as the best Non-Korean competitor at the 2012 Battle.net World Championships]
FWIW, I think "一舉奪下" here doesn't refer to applause or giving of "a huge hand" but rather to something along the lines of "take it in one go", so that last should read "Take a Starcraft 2 World Championship in one go", said in continuation to the previous sentence. So the whole translation I believe should read something like:
"We hope you'll be capable of fulfilling your wish - of taking a Starcraft 2 World Championship in one go"
Gl to Sen, hope it'll be a sick announcement to follow this up
On November 16 2013 22:53 Waxangel wrote: where does it say that gamabears is closing?
Sorry, flimsy translation on my part. If you examine what has happened internally with Gamabears, they no longer have any teams / players that play LoL or SC2 professionally. Their SC2 and LoL roster's are closed. Gamabears is a subsidiary of Gamania. If they still have any gaming teams, that means that they are stuck with their SF (Counterstrike-esque game) and Kartracer teams. But this is assuming that they are still playing these games in TeSL.
Sen is a legend and a top 5 foreigner for a decade. I'm pretty sure he'll want to live in Taiwan, I don't know if non-Taiwanese teams are ok with that.
I'm sure Sen would easily find a new team, I hope tho that he joins a western team so we can see more of him on european events. Maybe fnatic wanna sign him for the 3rd time.

Their team manager, is the Swedish CS 1.6 pro that lives in Taiwan known as Carn. But I'm sure Sen is doing all the communications on his own.

Yeah I know, and sen is a very good friend of Elroy, fnatic's general manager. Well whatever team he decides to join I just hope it is a western one.
I would love it to see Sen into a foreign based team again, so we actualy get to see him play outside of Taiwan. Selfish i know but hey i for one missed him.
Given how bloody good he always was and still is i would hope he's high on any team's wish list, because let's be honest if you want a top 5 foreigner if not better. that's Sen. The guy is SOLID.

This is indeed Kartrider, which was created by Nexon. It is very popular in Korea, China, Taiwan and possibly other Asian countries. Each country has an own version of the game that is handled by a local company (Gamania for Taiwan).
Some years ago Nexon America released an open beta for the North American (and European?) market, but after about one year of testing they said that the game doesn't fit NA so they freezed the project.

for many people talent = potential for greatness. Many people would also argue that Nestea and to an extend Sen are/were already great, but I see what you are getting at.

Talent is quite the understatement for the creator of the universe.
If he joins a non-Taiwanese team I will be a little sad...
That basically means he'll leave Taiwan shortly after or shortly after I arrive there in December. Last I heard, he was studying for his master's degree in Taiwan.
A bit off-topic, but Sen recently beat San 2-1 in the current season of TeSL, which I consider a slight upset since San is quite good at PvZ (75% winrate on TLPD). This season they invited Suppy and TRUE to participate making it 8 Zerg and 4 Protoss players, 0 Terran.
I sincerely hope Sen would join a non-Taiwanese team. That's how he could save the eSport scene in Taiwan now......we need more exposure! Sen left fnatic and came back to save the scene few years ago, perhaps now's the time to get back into the world and shine again
i want to see him start playing good players again instead of stomping other Taiwanese "pro". It was cool at first, but it soon became boring....
But he also said in his posts that he won't be abandoning TeSL so......let's just hope the best for him!

Tough news for Gamania, but possibly good news for the foreign community. Sen has always been a favorite player of mine both in and out of the game. Watch his NASL season 2 (season 1?) audition and you'll know what I mean. Hilarious.

Any team that picks up Sen is one lucky team. However, I think my computer will blow up if he joins Liquid.
