He also didn't have the points to qualify for blizzcon so wasn't there either. There really isn't an argument for Parting as the best protoss atm. It's Dear and if not him it's sOs. there are only 5 players in Korea that have made to GSL top 16 every season in 2013: Innovation, Soulkey, Flash, Soo, Parting. Pretty impressive list, isn't it? He is still a top toss even in his down year.

I personally think Dear is the best protoss still. To me he is just a scarier player to me then sos. But maybe sos can change that around, for now though sos is obviously a really good protoss, I just find dear better still.

Yeah I want to give the edge to Dear, too, but it's all pretty close at the top. No clear #1 overall best. Just comes down to who is on their game that day

I do think Parting is great at Bo3 which his aggressive style fits him the best. In a longer series, if one of his risky builds failed miserably, he tends to lose the composure a lot. We will see how he can improve on that this year.

Makes me wish I knew another language.. would be awesome to be able to communicate with another culture so fluently. Seems like Korean would be a difficult language to master, though. Surprisingly - Korean (being a language isolate) is a relatively easy language to learn...one year and a half of study and working in Seoul and you will be able to speak and listen quite well...their alphabet is nice too...writing is harder than reading as the order of how each letter constructed is important when writing... Anyway it goes like this this in terms of learning asiatic languages: hardest to easiest (for native Indo European speakers). The sentence "If I win Red Bull, I will be the best" is not a disjunction, it's an implication A→B, where A: sOs is the Red Bull champion and B: sOs is the best player in the world. Furthermore we're not negating the entire sentence, since the result of Red Bull doesn't mean that the implication is false, but that A is false. The implication only tells us that if A is true then so is B. B can be true even if A is false. So yes, he can still be the best player in the world.
