1. Casters of type "intelligence" which talk about what the players are thinking and what they are probably gonna do, or they aren't going to, but should do // Tasteless, Apollo 2. Casters that talk about player's performances and what they're usually capable of and did they execute well what was supposed to // Artosis, Nathanias, ToD 3. Casters I like to call "encyclopedia" casters which "FOLLOW" more than they cast - they know if a player did well (insert days) ago // Khaldor, Mr.Bitter, Total-Biscuit (maybe), there used to be the Super-Daniel-Man back in the days if you know what I mean 4. Casters/Players which role is to entertain and keep viewers closer to the content, or even make players interact (the later is usually done by the host-role) // Day[9], iNControl 5. There are casters/players that give insight of their own // Grubby, Scarlett, TLO, e.t.c. 6. There are casters/players that do the critique and give us the glorious insight of the possible w.t.f. factor in the situation in the game that currently might be going on.. ofc --> their usual contribution base is the category #1, but cause them also being players themselves -- they can do even better than that when the time comes // MC being the best example of this.. Followed closely by IdrA (maybe), though not sure if it's even close.. Instead of talking BS about any of them - try to get/understand which group they usually belong to and judge the quality of them by that measure But yah - pretty happy about the lineup TBH.. It's pretty good for not a WCS major event IMO

He balance whines on his stream, yeah, but right now there's a lot of Terran QQ going around. It makes me not watch him play the game, but he's still a great caster for tournies.

Edit: and just to be clear, I like both his casting and his attitude toward the job.

Still like to cast but anyone who gets all-inned 5 times in a row will whine! That was like 2 months ago! I don't hate ya, but the "TvP is sooooo hard" QQ posts are getting out of hand in general. However, I can totally relate based on my experiences in other games. Sometimes it's not *that* you lost, but *how* you lost. Even if you go 50/50 against a certain opponent, it can be very frustrating when that opponent beats you in a certain way; TSG or mage/rogue in WoW arena, Freeze Mages in Hearthstone, Singed in LoL, or all-in/cheese in SC2.

Well...I hate to go there, but it's not like the Terran QQ is completely unjustified in TvP. Predicting all ins can be like smashing your head against a wall. No fun And if you're someone that tries to play macro (Nathanias tends to play macro games from what I've seen), it can be frustrating as hell losing games outright to all ins. IdrA does the same exact things, but he has such a polarizing personality (same as NaNiwa) that it makes up for it. I guess people either love or hate the people that are honest about how they feel with certain things. There's nothing in between it apparently. I'd rather have someone that's honest with how they feel about the game and provide honest feedback than someone that just completely bs's and makes it seem like they love the game all the time and think everything about it is perfect. Just seems to insincere. I like the passion that people who are honest about the game have, because it makes them seem like they want to see the game be the best it can. Obviously there are people who feel that they just want easier wins, but I tend to think it's the other way.
